does anyone have a kernel for the evo 3d compatible with ICS (sense 3.6 or 4.0 doesnt matter) that allows for charging while phone is on? Tried downloading chad goodman's kernel but kept receiving a 404 error so that's a no-go... wondering if there are alternative kernels out there others are using?

Apparently right now there is only one working kernel (other than stock) that is compatible with ICS and it is not available on XDA (located on another forum)

1. This shouldn't be in this forum section. It's not ROM development!
2. There is no such thing as 'best rom' as it's highly subjective. If you don't need the Camera, flash an ICS rom. If you do, then stick with a Honeycomb one.

I am looking for a pure ICS ROM with No Bugs at all and must have standard apps which come with ROM, some kernel tweaks and OC possibilities. I have looked at most of the Cooked ROMs but generally they have a bug or more. Is there no such ROM without bugs, I cant use Stock ICS 4.0.3 for my GS2 as I don't like Touchwiz.
Also I would like to know, if I can flash Galaxy Nexus Rom on my GS2 or will that cause issues?
and the last one is, How easy it is to use AOSP code to create a stock ROM?

MIUI does great ROMs I`m using 2.3.2 and it cool and smooth running on the Dell Streak 5 but I`m on baseband GAUSB1A140614-US now how does this affect the stability of the ROM because when I look @ images and videos of the ROM I see GAUSB1A140514-US should I revert to 40514-US another thing is you also see -EU versions of this BB. Software incompatibility issues from google play is a problem, is this related to the BB?

I'm looking for a MIUI v5 ROM to flash onto my gf's S3 (it's the international version and on 4.1.1 stock firmware). She's bored with TouchWiz and I think she would enjoy MIUI because of the superior and far better looking UI.
Is there a particular ROM you would recommend? I'd go for the official one since it' built from source, but I see many reports of a "sudden death bug", could someone tell me what it is (does th phone simply lock-up or reboot?)?
I'm not a fan of ported ROMs and those with a bazillion tweaks added, but if you'd suggest one as the best choice, I'd be willing to give a shot
(I'm on the xda app and I couldn't find an S3 Q&A sub-forum, sorry for missing it if there is one :/ )
there are not so many MIUI roms for Galaxys3, hence u should try them yourself and make ur own opinion.

I couldn't find any recent thread regarding CM7 for the International Amaze 4G.
I see that CM7 is able to install on the International HTC Amaze running Gingerbread 2.3.4.
I saw an old thread ( dated back in 2011 ) which stated that the ROM had a few problems regarding WiFi. I was unable to post there for some reason so I had to come here.
Where can I get the CM7 download link for the International HTC Amaze and does it still have the WiFi bugs in it? An update on this would be appreciated.
