[bootanimation] Super Mario - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

revived and edited another one of my XOOM boot animations.
this one was created from scratch, ever single pixel, done with paint.net.
download the file, rename it to bootanimation.zip. back up your current bootanimation.zip file in system/media. place new bootanimation.zip file in system/media. reboot and enjoy. (usual disclaimer, im not responsible if you mess up your phone. i have put it on my sgsII and it works fine).
DOWNLOAD
(the animation will loop with mario jumping and collecting coins)

i was big into making them last year, taking videos and chopping them into boot animations, and making my own from scratch.

[Q] Bootanimation help

I made an attempt to create my own bootanimation, I don't do graphical work period so it came out as I expected except that at the end of the animation I have an unwanted frame repeat itself which clearly looks out of place and I don't know how to fix it as simple as it seems...could someone tell me how to fix it? this way when I create some more for myself I will know what to do to not have it happen again. Thank you.
I've included a video using Bootanimation previewer to show what I mean. And I've attached the bootanimation.zip for you to look over. Thanks again.

I had this prob. When I set my f.p.s to high for the animation. Try lowering it and see what happens.didn't see the. Zip attached. So I couldn't look @the desc. File.

It was a naming issue.
I took the liberty of renaming all the files to a triple digit number (000, 001, etc) using a BULK RENAMING UTILITY found here: http://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/Download.php
That fixed the problem.
I also decided to make a bootscreen version (with sound)
Just my $0.02

I'm new at this whole root and flashing stuff. Is this a file that you flash just like a rom? Which file do I use?

[Boot Animation]Legend of Zelda

These are some boot animations that I originally made for the MT4G, but ported them over to the Amaze. I actually never released the Door of Time animation I made, but here it is. I give it to you guys instead. Keep in mind that I am not a great photoshopper, so it doesn't look like the most amazing thing in the world...just a simple animation.
Here is a video of the Door of Android that I never released. (kind of blurry cause my non-amaze camera sucks, and I don't have an SD card for my MT4G)
Here is a video of the intro to Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past (with sound) that I made. (Again, same crappy camera)
If you'd like to download them, you can get them here:
1. Door of Android
2a. LOTZ: LTTP
2b. LOTZ: LTTP sound
If you use the Energy ROM like I do, put the bootanimation.zip (and the .mp3 if using the 2nd one) in /system/customize/resource and that'll do it for you. If you don't use Energy, you may have to poke around your ROM until you find where they keep their bootanimation.zip, and then replace it with one of these two. Hope someone can find some use for these.

how do you change the boot animation???

as you can see I'm running ICZen rc1.4 and for all of you that know...the only flaw I see is the boring boot animation sorry Br1ck'd...how do you change it...and where can I get a list of different boot animations...any suggestions???

It is quite easy to change your boot animation. Just find one you like and and put a copy in /data/local, set your permission correctly and reboot.
So it will look like this
/data/local/bootanimation.zip
By putting it in /data/local you keep your original intact (which is ususally located in /syste/media/bootanimation.zip
Finding them, well you are on your own for that. I have a few (7 or 8) that I have collected over the years, including all of these.

Does this work the same for the boot logo? bootlogo.zip?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA
Probably not. Where is the bootlogo.zip at? Is it for the kernel or the ROM? I can say that i haven't ever seen that before. Or maybe I have and just not known.

Custom Bootanimations?

Hi. I noticed that there was a bootanimation.zip lying in /system/media. How come nobody has tried to make custom boot animations for the tab yet?

Some of us have. After reading this GUIDE and comparing what the guide said with what was found in the Sony tablet's bootanimation.zip file, I was able to create my own boot animations. It's a task that requires a fair bit of time and imagination, but in the end, your tablet truly is yours.

I did a bunch of custom boot animations for my old Galaxy Tab. If there's definitely demand, I could try and port some of them over to the Tablet S. Same goes for special requests, if anyone's got any...
maybe we can use other device boot animations
