Can't purchase apps from play store, free apps work fine - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

I can't purchase any apps, it never authorizes the payment. I've tried removing the current credit card and adding a new one, but that didn't work.
Just got off the phone with Google and they can't figure it out.
If I use my old gmail account, the purchase goes through instantly.
Using shostock2 at the moment, but I've used different roms and it doesn't make a difference.
Anyone have any idea, this is really frustrating me.

Check that you don't have any expired credit cards in your google wallet. AoN

I currently only have one card in my wallet, the same one is in my other account that works.
I'm thinking about unrooting and seeing if that makes a difference.

It won't. Have u tried clearing Market data and rebooting? Have h tried purchasing the app from the website to see if it goes through?

Had that same issue cleared data for the market and I believe Google framework services and it was fixed.

I had the same issue recently... only thing that worked for me was full wipe and re flash good luck

Well normally its from someone messing with the DPI and then going "hero derp ! Iz brokez ma phonez! " but in this guys case I don't think that's the problem. Maybe clearing Google framework, market, /cache and dalvik. That is what I'd try anyway.

I've cleared everything multiple times and can't get it to work.
I have 2 google accounts, and if I switch to the 2nd one a purchase will go through instantly. If I switch back, it fails.
Waiting to here back from google and hopefully they can fix it.

Good luck with this - sure seems like you've done everything on your end to fix it. Have to admit I'm curious why you have two accounts with the same credit card. Why not just consistently use the one that works?

[Q] Amazon AppStore Issue

I just purchase the HTC Rezound and the Amazon Appstore doesn't work, the app installs but wont take my account and pwd, i came from a (rooted) DInc and it worked fine.
Yes i verified my creds were correct. Anyone else having this issue? Suggestions, Thoughts.
thanks
I've been using Amazon on mine, absolutely no problems here.

I've had this issue on my last device. Whenever you flash a new rom and sign into amazon it register's it as a new device. There is a limit to how many devices you can have registered on amazon. You need to go into your amazon account on the computer and clear out some of the devices registered and it will work.
thanks that was it.

I sent an email asking amazon for some info on this. It's been driving me nuts for about a week. Luckily I've a backup on titanium so no need to put in the password.
I'll post if/when amazon answers.

I had an issue last week where I started a WiFi only download accidentially awayfrom a connection. It force close all stewing data 3rd party apps AND crashed phone repeatedly. Couldn't complete download, stop or uninstall Amazon app. Phone woulnt even do a factory reset from h-boot. Took it to the store and they replaced unit as they couldn't fix either. Totally weird, but at least I got a replacement

Cracked App Help

Hi All,
I'm not looking for cracked apps.
I have downloaded BlackMart and installed a cracked app, however it never gets updated, and i would like to buy it now. When i go to market it says its paid and just the install button is there. I tried to clear market data/cache, tried to clear the services data did a clear data/devlik cache after this, rebooted and it still says paid. I also removed my account from the accounts database restarted and setup the Google account again. go to market and its still showing it as i paid for it.
anyone have any suggestions.
Try creating a new Google account and attach it to the market
Sent from my DROID X2 using xda premium
Use titanium back up to removed your cracked version. Then it should show up as not installed then buy.

this did not work. I tried to force attach to market, then wipe data and uninstall.
restarted and checked market, still said purchased.
I then tried to remove from market, wipe data, and restart and nothing!
I also have that issue where your market apps don't show up under "my apps" do you think that this part of the issue?
because when i login to market on the PC and go to my apps, I see apps on there that say they are installed, and they really arnt on my phone any more.
Suggestions?
You cannot simply uninstall because somehow the market thinks you purchased it as it attached itself to your google account, correct?
I would do as suggested and just use a different google account to purchase it. Of course you will then have problems updating it when you switch to the google account that syncs all your other data.
Maybe email the dev and explain you screwed up and wanna pay them $ if they know how to fix it?

Im having the same problem.. want buy swiftkey but can't get the option to buy in market... it say that i already purchase it.
Same issue
Hi,
I am having the same issue.
I have tried the cracked versions of the apps and now I genuinely want to buy them but I cannot.
I'd never feel comfortable using a cracked app on my phone. I don't know if anything malicious can be done to them (cracked apps) that might harm my device, but the prices on most apps are so low, I'd rather not risk it.
Besides, after having been a member here for a while and reading the work that goes into development, it just doesn't seem right to steal the work.
My take, spend the 2-5 bucks, reward the dev effort, have the security of knowing your app is genuine.

Ill have to disagree. I have tried free apps and they were so bad I would so kick myself if I had paid for it. There should be a requirement that there has to be a free app and a paid. No paid only apps should be be allowed. Free with dumbed down features until you buy a key is the way to go.

Man, the point here is that we want TO BUY the paid app... we arent asking for crack or something else, but some way to fix inconsistence in market to do the right thing

No solution, I am thinking it has to do with my market being broken, (I cant see my apps) however if you do not have this issue then there goes my theory
So I sbf'd today and went to newest 2.3.5 leak and installed eclipse! Living it. And I got my apps back!!! I did not have them earlier today so I really don't know how they came back but I'm still having the issue with the cracked app. :-(

I solved the problem of empty list uninstaling the blackmart... but that dont have any relation with not being able to buy some apps
If you use a root explorer/file manager and go into system/apps you should be able to delete the apk file from there at the source. If that doesn't work its got to be a market issue. Good luck
I had same problem, and got it to work downgrading market version
Like some guy sugested me in this topic: forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?p=936431#p936431
Here is a thought: pay for your apps? How much was this 'cracked' app you installed? 99 cents? 5 dollars? If you cannot afford that, then cancel your cell contract and save some money because you obviously need it.
Every app has a refund period after purchase, and almost all apps have a free version you can try out.
Even if you get stuck with an app you don't like, you spent what, a dollar? A few dollars? Uninstall it and wait for improvements, you already own the app. Cracked apps and warez are for pathetic losers who wanna be cool or are not man enough to pay for what they want. Support your devs.
I can't believe this thread is even here.

nope, i check it for the free app every morning. Did you load it with a fresh download APK or from one that already had? I have had issues in the past where it was buggy or just woulding work right when I installed from a previously downloaded version on my SD card. Have amazon send you the link to your phone for a fresh DL if you havnt already yanked and reinstalled.
I have installed it fresh. Is there a limit to the number of devices that can be linked to one account?
ok, problem solved! I had never unregistered any of my previous devices, and every custom rom I ever installed on any device counted as a new device. Max devices appears to be around 20.

Thanks for the tip. I had 9 devices registered even though I only have 2. All of the others were the various ROMs I had installed on my previously sold Infuse.

It seems the only way to get around the small font in apps like this is to change the dpi meetings of your phone which will require rooting.

select and deregister. dont worry about deregistering the wrong one, if you do it'll just make you enter UN/PW on your device next time you open amazon app store.

This seems like a pretty huge bug, I would go into AT&T and ask about it, maybe they will bump up your monthly or at least take away any overage fees if you go over your plan. I haven't seen this but I am on wifi a lot of the time personally..
Has anyone else noticed this? If no one has I might see if I can switch it out for another after school

Hm.
Do you watch YouTube on Hi Quality on mobile? I did and used 25 gigs of data. It comes up under Android OS in data usage, which threw me for a while. Stop watching youtube on mobile for a bit and see if that helps.

Just got the Note 3. Play Store errors and not showing purchased apps

Great phone so far but all of my purchased apps are not showing that I bought them. I've been having error 927 popping up when trying to download apps. I've cleared cache and data from the Play Store and Google Play Services, even tried a factory reset, but still having the issue.
Thoughts? Is it just because I switched phones and my Google account needs to catch up?
Sent from my SM-N900P using xda app-developers app
So now it's even weirder. I can only download apps on the Play Store using 4G but I'll get the error 927 when on wifi, even though my wifi is much faster than my 4G at home.
