plastic case - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have tried the aluminum alumor case by capdase but i found that it really killed my coverage.Im wondering if anyone can point me to a good plastic case? ive tried one from ebay but it snapped the first day

Incipio Edge
I am quite happy with my Incipio Edge case from ebay. There was no hole for the indicator LED, but I just *carefully* drilled one with a 1/16" drill bit.
I am on my second case, the first one lasted about 9 months before it cracked around my not-as-carefully drilled hole. I did a better job on the second one.

buy a 3600mAh battery, which is thicker, so u get a bigger case with the battery because the original case would not fit. the new case is free with some batteries

non-slip battery cover?

I loved the non-slip battery cover that my Kaiser had, now I have the Tilt 2. anybody know of or seen a battery cover for the Tilt 2 that is the same as OEM just non-skid/non-slip material instead? Was hoping to avoid getting a cover/case for it...been checking ebay w/no luck. Thanks for any suggestions!

the zagg invisible shield is very 'rubbery' to the touch, and my phone doesn't slip easily when it's on a flat surface.
it may be easier to buy that than to find a replacement battery cover and it's a much better option than using a (maybe ugly) case
the only drawback of the invisible shield is that it will start to look ugly after a couple of months, turn a little yellow and start to peel on the corners. mine is 4 months old and it looks like I may have to replace it in the next month or two.
i was looking at changing my one for one from a sprint as it looks like black rubber or something. maybe one to look at
as for the hard rubber cases.. there a few quid off ebay, but the front one scratched up my phone

[SOLVED] Problems combining gel case and screen protector

I bought a cheap gel case off eBay, and I was happy with it for the price. I also bought an official HTC screen protector, which is great. The only problem I have found is that the sides of the gel case have a habit of pressing against the edge of the screen protector. After a while, the screen protector started peeling up along the left and right edges. I tried trimming the protector a little to prevent this, and now I have an awful scruffy looking screen protector that is still peeling up - LOL. Anyone have the same problems as me? I think maybe my case doesn't fit tightly enough, or perhaps it did and now it has stretched?
[UPDATE]: I bought a Capdase case which came with its own screen protector, and together the two items work perfectly. The case is a way better fit that other gel cases I have bought, with no loose parts or slack at all. It also looks slimmer than previous gel cases I have tried. I _highly_ recommend the Capdase case as the way to go if a gel case is what you want for your Hero.
many thanks, m8. care to share the link please?
kudos
Here's a link to the item on the Capdase website:

You might have to work out where you can buy one yourself though Think I got mine off eBay. I've had mine for 9 months or so now, and I still love it. It's wearing very well. Still 100% recommended.

Silicone case on Amazon

Has anyone purchased this silicone case from Amazon?
http://www.amazon.com/iShoppingdeal...2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1317307713&sr=1-2
I ordered one yesterday and I'm hoping it's better than the silicone case I got from China. It's ok but just a little loose. The picture of the case on Amazon looks different so I figured I'd give it a shot since the price was reasonable.
No, but thanks just ordered it. The targus portfolio case is nice for most of the time, but I'm looking for something for around the house.
It's already sold out.
I thought it might go out of stock after people realized it was on Amazon. As stated in my op - the one I ordered from China off ebay is a little to loose. The cutouts are great but I'm looking for something a little tighter.
I can't see the price since it's unavailable. How much did you guys buy it for? Was it better than Sikai's price of $17.00?
I'm not so sure on the design. Back looks kind of weird, Sikai has a grippy texture like micro-cobblestone. Also the Sikai case comes up around the trim of the screen farther than this one. This one looks like an iPad silicone case I bought a year ago that had this thin lip where the edges are and it would fall out extremely easily.
The Sikai case isn't loose at all, it might be based on when you bought it or what color but the clear one I bought is tight as a glove with literally no probability of falling out even holding it one handed. It's very well made.
Case is $10.95 and I have Amazon Prime so shipping was free for me. Maybe I should have phrased my comments regarding the Sikai case differently. I do like the texture of the Sikai case and how much of the TF it actually covers but when I go to pull it out of my bag the edge along the face moves way too easily. Granted it isn't loose to the point of it falling off on its own but it also shouldn't come out with a minor movement - only if I'm trying to remove it intentionally.

The good thing about this silicone case is it also fits the keyboard dock, given you're willing to do some cutting. So, I got 2 pieces, one covering the tablet and one covering the keyboard dock. I'll post a picture tomorrow as I'm too lazy now.
Iso, when you get it can you do a review side by side with the Sikai case and point out the differences and faults?

Nice inexpensive horizontal belt case for Note

Found the following horizontal belt case for the Note:
http://www.daydeal.com/product.php?productid=64182
Since it was so inexpensive, I ordered one and am very happy with it. I have the Elago hard case on the back and the glass on glass screen saver on the front, and it still fits perfectly in the belt case. Although it's 'pleather', it's good quality and seems well built. Inside case is not cloth, but the material is soft and doesn't scratch the case or glass.
Just thought I'd throw this out for anyone else looking for a horizontal belt case as this is a good bargain for everyday use.
I looked through the threads and didn't see anyone having mentioned this case yet - sorry if it's a repeat!
I bought this for ~$8 shipped on ebay about 3 weeks before the Note came out on ATT - used it until Siedio dropped the Kickstand active 2 weeks ago.
The case was nice for $8 - but at the end the belt clip started to tear away....after 2 months of use.

Ah, I had a cheap pleather case that did that, the pleather peals away from the metal leaving just the metal clip behind?
Oh well.

Fellowes Brown Leather Case

Bought this case the other day at walmart:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Fellowes-Landmark-Horizontal-Phone-Case/19611942
It was 16 something plus tax. It fits the rezound very well. I have the extended battery with the extended battery tpu case (battery area cut out) and it is snug but fits well and no problems removing the phone from the case.
I bought this after trying a case on ebay and amazon. Amazon case, the clip bent the first time I tried to use it and the ebay case wouldn't fit the rezound (too short).
I have confidence this case will last a long time.
