venue camera result? - Dell Venue

HI all
Im really disappointed with the camera result for dell venue.
Its just too blurry and colour combination also not so great.
I feel my older galaxy y with 2mp had better sharpness and sensors.
Night photos with led is useless.Cant even get proper faces in it.
Is this the problem with every1 here?Or its just that the handset i have has some problem with cam?Users sample images will make it clear.

Its very bad quality camera as u can see

Take a good look at the plastic built into the rear cover that covers the lens. Take a picture with the rear cover taken off, on mine the clear plastic piece that covers the lense was terrible and I had to clean it really well, and may still just remove it. Without the back cover, the pictures are actually fairly good.

Hey thanx...yes i think the backcover lense is the problem.
Removing backcover photo is slightly better!

Need your quicke help, is my camera defect? check my pics....

hello guys, i need to know for sure if my camera is defect or not since i need to exchange it by monday.
the pics are attached.
i have taken the pics with and without night mode. the ones taken with night mode are much brighter and have much more severe flare.
is that normal?
Its all good.

Totally normal.

Nightmode increases the iso hence the lighter pictures. You should notice either more noise in the picture or loss in sharpness as the built in noise reduction kicks in. The flare you see is lenses flare from the bright light sources in the picture and us a result of the increase in iso. Its all basic photography stuff, and no your cameras not buffered.
Better quality cameras and lenses can reduce it to some extent but mobile and compact cameras are very limited which us why people pay thousands for dslr's cameras and even more for quality lenses.

how can u say, daytime pics are great, video too. but night and low light is not as good though. u know any other better camera on the market?
Camera lens might be broken
My camera suddenly had problems with focusing and the pictures were terrible/not as good as they used to. Inspecting the camera lens closely did not reveal anything odd.
When I disassembled the back of my phone (removed the battery cover, removed the screws and gently took apart the back of the phone housing) I still could not see anything wrong with my camera lens/cover. The lens/cover is part of the back of the phone housing.
However, then I held the lens/cover up against a really bright light and looked through the lens/cover, I discovered that there are several layers in this lens/cover and that one of them had cracks (looked like a snowflake). It was impossible to see this without disassembling the phone housing and holding the cover up against a bright light looking though it.
Trying to take a picture without the cover everything was perfect. Ordered a new phone housing from ebay the same day...
Your pictures seems to have the same characteristics as mine; not focused and a bit blurry. Try to remove the back of your phone housing and see if that helps. If it does; order a new phone housing.

Wow, that's quite obvious too.
Haven't seen this red dot in any of my pics so think it must be a hardware fault...

A camera that only works properly in daylight is a terrible camera, regardless of how good the daytime photos are. Tbh I'm just a bit mad about the night video focus crap.
btw, with the old rom my lens was moving out hitting the glass making a clicking noise, xxkg1 (XEF)
now updated official poland version
and there is no clicking? is that normal?
Also, with the new version (Poland) that has no cliicking, when i change the scene to text (i guess its macro in english) i do get a small clicking sound again - the lens moving against the glass.

[Q] Replacement camera lens

I got a bit of dirt between my camera lens/cover and my desk not long after getting my Galaxy S2 and it's managed to scratch it. Since then the auto-focus doesn't work and all my pictures are blurry.
Does anybody know if it's possible to replace the lens or camera, and if so, how?
Thanks!
Replace the camera module. It's rare, but i found it on some parts site for 20usd.

Well, it's a Motorola -of course the camera is crap
But to be honest, the photos your Razr is taking are much worse than normal.
I assume that you have cleaned the lens and set the exposure time to automatic and that you hold the camera still while taking a photo. Furthermore you wait until the rectangle that shows the focus becomes green.
So it could be a hardware problem -maybe the lens does not fit correctly or it's another failure during assembling. In this case you should get a replacement.
It could also be a software problem, I'd try to download a free camera software from the market, place your phone on a rigid surface and shoot a photo. Does it look as blurry as the previous ones I guess you should get a replacement.
I attached two photos I made right now...colour reproduction isn't good with Moto cameras but sharpness should not be a problem.
I tried other camera apps (camera zoom fx, camera ultimate 360) and result is the same.
I read elsewhere that someone else DL'd the Camera Zoom FX app and it made a world of difference.

VERY bad image quality from rear camera - faulty?

Hello guys
Yesterday, I rooted and flashed my 610 with cm11 rom. The same day I removed back battery cover and replaced battery.
Today I found out that my rear phone camera has very bad quality. Photos are gross. The rear camera has now circa the same image quality as the front camera.
I already tried factory reset, and also tried to flash CM12 rom. The result was the same.
What do you think that that happend? It is software or hardware related? Did I somehow managed to physically damage the camera lens when I was removing the battery? It is possible to damage camera, while it still performing but with bad image quality?
I added some attachments.
First one is rear camera, the second one is front camera for comparison, and third is rear camera from the outside.
If you zoom it, you can see huge compression.
Thank you

Dust on the (rear) camera sensor?

Dear all
I had bad look so my backcover was broken. I had the mobile a few days without rearcover but in a case. I now have dark shadows on photos taken by the back camera: cleaning the lens (not the backcover, but the real camera lens) was not helpfull. So I guess, it is dust on the chip. Is there a solution to clean this? (if possible without disassembly of the whole phone.)
Or do I need a replacement of the camera? Or even better: is there a software solution to reduce this points.
Please find a photo of a white paper attached.
