cannot connect galaxy s2 via bluetooth to logitec mini boom box.i am running rooted gingerbread XWKK5 2.3.6 / KERNEL 2.6.37.7-I91000XWKK5-CL75481 ROOT @DELL144#2.
The audio media like songs tones plays extremely well but when i try to use it for incomming phone call there is a void and i can here my surrounding noise not the caller,neither he can hear,this i tried from other phones it works witout a hitch .
would be extemely grateful if you can help me solve this issue.

I was wondering if anyone could help with this problem. My SGS II connects with my in built (Ford) car system, its does everything it should apart from that it can not display the call list (in or out). This was also the problem on my SGS on stock roms until I installed CM7 and then the call lists showed up perfectly. Is it the case that Samsung roms are putting the call logs in a different place that cannot be seen by the car system, if so would it be easy to change this or do I have to wait until a CM rom is made for the SGS II.
SGS II as well as SGS has a very gig problems with BT in car on stock ROM. I had SGS before and there was a problems BT constantly drops in AUDI car system. Temporarily it was solved by BT Fix from the market but finaly solved only coming to a custom ROM (all of them solving that). Now Having SGS II It is total disaster in AUDI - first it constantly drops BT connection and even more - if I'm talking by phone during being connecting to BT, connection failed BUT after call finished phone crushed down and it takes 10 second pushing power button to get it back :-( And then in phone all pairings went out! So - do anybody know this case? And waiting for the custom ROM.
I have a Mercedes E-class (new type). No problems at all with the BT. Very quick to connect, and I can control track fw/bw from the steering wheel. No drops. Works with the default music player as well as Spotify. Phonebook transfere is quick.
In terms of functions I also have no any problems but drops and crashes :-(

the same issue with new Volvo S60. Previously car kit perfectly worked with Nokia E71... As for S2 - I was able to pair the phone and car. But afterwards, connection could be reestablished only if it's initiated from the phone side (I select "My Car" in bluetooth menu of the phone). Without such actions the car is unable to find the device...
Problem was solved for me when last modem was released. Use ROM with XKE2 modem.

Yesterday I have tested SGS2 (LiteROM 1.5) in my BMW E92 LCI and it works really fine so far.
(call, sms, phone adressbook and bluetooth audio streaming).
BMW offers the possibility to connect two phones at the same time.
I successfully connected my nokia business phone for bluetooth call & SGS2 for bluetooth audio streaming only.
SGS2 is the first mobile that I have connected to my car not only displaying title/artist information properly using the default music player,
but also offers good mp3 sound quality over A2DP.
Strange enough, when I use a different music player (e.g. PowerAMP) the title/artist information is not working any longer. Any ideas?

Problem with transmission over car bluetooth
Hi there,
I have a galaxy s2 that used to connect (with no problems) with my alpine CDE-126BT
After I messed around with the service mode for a while trying to crank up the volumes, there is no transmitted voice over the call (the other side can not here me when I'm connected to the car's Bluetooth).
I know that if I reboot the phone all the changes that was done in the service mode would reset to the default settings, it seems to revert back default but I still have the same problem.
Any advice??

When i stream music to my sony car stereo somtimes it crashes the phone or keeps breaking up.
Is there a patch or anything i could try?
The phone is placed right next to the car stereo so it is not a signel problem. Also my phone it just rooted dose not have a custom rom.
Anything i can try?

i updated my galaxy s2 to ics and can any one help me in finding out how can we work a wireless Bluetooth headset for calling ....I can able to listen to songs.....but when call comes the connectivity gets disconnected nothing happens..

it was wrking fyn with gingerbread....
was able to take calls and was able to hear songs...

I have the same problem here.
I used my Dell BH200 to answer/make calls and listen to music, but after I upgraded my Galaxy Note to ICS it stopped working properly.
I can listen to music, but when trying to answer a call the bluetooth headset stops the syncronization with the phone e instantly turns off.
Does anybody has a clue?

Mine, Nokia BH 505, works fines here. with Gingerbread, ICS, and now JB
Settings >> network an connectivity(should be skipped in ICS) >> bluetooth >> find ur device click it then u should get another page where u can check whether u want both media and phone or only one of them
If above didn't work , try to unpair then pair it again

My P768 is very smooth & fast after JB upgrade but it gives me 2 major problems for me after that upgrade as well:
1. Bluetooth: My music player stop output to bluetooth headset after picking up the phone call. Did check Bluetooth connection both: Phone audio and Media audio are still connected but the sound only go to phone speaker. Did try to stop/ start bluetooth but now works. The problem only go away when I restart the phone.
Anyone has same issue?
2. My phone used to working fine with Call Recorder Pro in ICS with audio resource is Voice Call - means it can record all phone call (2 ways recording) even when using Bluetooth headset but not in JB. I did try different app but all of them can only record thru Microphone, it is not good at all!
So is there any good app can work with JB?
My P768(VN) is rooted anyway, JB V20A!

I too have run into issue one. I'm using a T-mobile P769 running V20F. It is not rooted
When playing music over bluetooth, if I get a call then the music pauses and the call audio comes through just fine. When I go back to start the music after the call, I get nothing but silence. It appears to be playing but no sounds comes out.
If I stop the music and re-pair the bluetooth it then works fine until I pause the music again.
If I reboot the phone, everything works fine until I get another call over bluetooth.
This has been happening ever since the upgrade to Jelly Bean. ICS worked just fine.
Any ideas?

Got the gaps for 5.1 , x86 and stock . Everything works except for the bluetooth audio during skype, regular 3g phone calls, no sound coming in or going out through the bluetooth. I use a samsung WEP650 bluetooth headset. It does connect to and say phone audio but nothing other than that no media audio or anything else. When I use skype to call i can see the bluetooth is connected but i get no sound going out or coming in. I tried using bluetooth on another device a music streaming device and this time when i connect through bluetooth it says media audio for this device and i can hear that sound does stream when i play for example youtube movies. The problem is there is no sending or recieving of sound for phone audio through bluetooth. How can I fix this issue i spent hour on it already and dont know what to di i tried running the 6.0.1 marshmallow but noticed it wasnt detecting my sim card so went back to lolipop .
Anyone ??? what I gotta do to get the bluetooth calls working .
