1. Install BBangSik_ICS4_30_SC_SR.zip through CWM recovery and reboot
2. After reboot open root explorer and open build.prop and add this line to below

3. After add this line save build.prop and reboot

1) Yes
2) No. It doesn't raise the volume, but the volume bar is divided in small fractions. So it'll not harm the speaker.

Yes.
It disables direct hardware rendering which was introduced in ICS, and follows GB's way of rendering. Google it..

you can install usign you file explorer without troubles... but need a trigger to activated... someone can mod it?? or add the option to Settings.apk??

you also need to mod services.jar because it will not work.

Thanks. Everything works except one thing. When I go into apps, and try to move an app, it always force closes. Apart from that, it's working well. Can you try and fix this.

I've tried in my ray. Not helping at all. loop reboot at all times.
Maybe we can hope that they implemented this option in latest 4.1.B.1.13 firmware.
I hope they will add new WALKMAN at least on the LwW

The Mod for me and those who listen to music when walking or running is useful. I use it when I have xperia mini pro .but now xperia p dont have this mod and i have realy problem when i listening to music.i know for it we need androidpolicy.jar file but i dont know have to compiled and build that
now I invite all my friends who have the expertise to make this mod is that if they can start to build it for this device

Yeah we defo need this, I'm currently using an app called tactile player that mimics this but not very well, it's annoying to pull out my phone and change song, especially on public transport, I Ilive in a violent area
There is an app for the headset only I dont know about the Volume Rocker. The app is called Jays Headset cotrol

we don t need headset control.
we need just songs control with volume button
Try with CM9. CM9 and AOKP already have this feature afaik

Thank you, Tactile player works perfect...I use it with walkman player
tactile player have conflict with up and downing volume: for example you need to lower down your vol and hold your down vol key but your phone is nt have any react and when you duble press it , prev songs play.
i know that Cm9 and aokp have this ability but there rom for this device isn t complete and have so bug
so we need this feature in our stock rom that for it we need to a developer

For Xperia Sola (ICS .54)
Please stanlin salu could you edit android-policy.jar for Xperia Sola (ICS .54)? I've already edited framework.jar for 30 step volume for Sola (if anybody want it I can post it) but I dont know how to edit android-policy.jar (tried this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1955731 ). Here's my android-policy.jar:

The software allows users to separately adjust white balance, colour saturation and hue. Given the criticisms in some quarters over the Xperia Z display, it is surprising that Sony didn’t include the software, although we may see it appear in an upcoming update.
Thankfully the apk has been ported over from the Xperia ZL if you don’t want to wait. Your Xperia Z will need to be rooted for the calibration app to work, as you need to set the right permissions. Instructions to get this working can be found

Alternative method ( thx @gm007 )
1. Download the zip file in the 1st post of this thread.
2. Unzip the file.
3. Inside the White Balance.zip\system\app folder, there is a whitebalance.apk file. You need to copy this file to your phone's system\app folder. Remember to set the permissions to rw-r-r.
4. Inside the White Balance.zip\system\lib folder, there is a libdisplayservice.so file. You need to copy this file to your phone's system\lib folder. Remember to set the permissions to rw-r-r.
5. Inside the White Balance.zipe\system\lib\hw folder, there is a libdisplay.default.so file. You need to copy this file to your phone's system\lib\hw folder. Remember to set the permissions to rw-r-r.
6. Reboot.
7. Go to Settings -> Display and you should be able to see the White Balance setting.

installing via cwm not work ..
it say installed done, but when i looked in system/lib and system/app the files not there ..
so i'll do it push manual,
Cwm is for newer phones.
It's trying to mount ext4 partition.
Install manually.

Works charm on xperia u n sola stock ics
chinese keyboard got fc on Xperia P stock JB based ROM
though I install it as a normal app still don't work
