Uninstall apps - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a way to remove the apps that you previously installed?

i mean from 'uninstalled' tab

From Google Play, for example, in My Applications.
If your phone is root, some application like app remover, can remove system applications and users applications

U can go to Settings > Apps > 'your app' > Uninstall, too

cant install apk files

Suddenly I can not install APK files on my Gtablet. I never had a issue. Is says to install and it stays on the Install Progress bar for ever, tried different files etc.
The only thing I can think is that I installed the Google Market APP that came out today. It did not work and I uninstalled it ( it took 2 tries of having to re-start my tablet to remove it, was hard to remove)
Anyone have a clue what might be up?
I am using Stock Rom.
Thanks
In Settings > Applications, has the "Unknown sources" box become unchecked?
If it is still checked, try wiping data/cache for Market in Settings > Application > Manage applications > All.
Thanks for the help but none of that is in my Gtablet.
There is no "Unknown Sources" box to check OR Manage Applications in the APPLICATIONS tab.

If it is still checked, try wiping data/cache for Market in Settings > Application > Manage applications > All.

Click to collapse

[Q] Application Update Problem

I have used Titanium Backup Pro to Fix market link for few apps which I manually installed on my SGS2. Now Android Market shows that updates are available for these apps.
But when I try to update it with an error message.
Is it possible to update such apps?
If not, can I remove these apps from android market's installed app list?
Thanks

After fixing market links, the update should work.
Have you tried to clear app cache (in Settings menu => Applications => Manage applications => ... (find your apps) => Clear cache) and/or app data (in Settings menu => Applications => Manage applications => ... (find your apps) => Clear data)?
Maybe it helps.
If not, then try to wipe cache partition in recovery mode (Volume UP + Home + Power, and hold the keys pressed until recovery menu appears => Choose to wipe cache partition, then reboot the phone).
If that does not help either, Titanium Backup has the feature to detach/un-link the app from the Market.
Just start Titanium Backup and click on the tab for backup&restore, then long click on your app and choose the detach/un-link from Market action.
(It may have another name in your language, as I am using German.)
Good luck !
Backup data for affected apps, uninstall them, reinstall from Market, restore data.
note if you have NOT BOUGHT some of these PAID apps from the market you will NOT be able to update them through the market in the normal way ....remember bought apps are linked to your Gmail acct ETC

You should find it under the ALL tab.
Have you removed the ROOT? if not just use a root explorer to remove it?
