this will install all files needed for Dr. Dre Beats also has DSPManager 2.0 called BEATSControl, since it is a flash through CWM, it will work, i have tested Headphones and is working on ICS

I believe you need dsp first and it renames the app. Might be cm9 / aokp only too.

Didn't work for me either. Still have the same DSP as before. I can see the BEATScontrol apk in system/app, but it doesn't show up in my apps when I look in settings, and it won't install from the system/app location.

This might not work properly on TW based ROMS. You will need to delete the stock TW music player and the libs associated with the app.

I'm on King Kang and after flash I don't see DSP Manager or BeatsControl.
It all worked for me. I will try to resign the apk when i get home and re up

I flashed and than installed dsp and it forcecloses. It wasn't doing that before. Running stock root.

Have you tried fixing permissions? If that doesn't work you can push the app to /system/apps and set permissions to 644 or rw-r-r. Reboot and it'll be there

Huh strange, and you guys didn't have to do anything like push the apk out manually or fix permissions right?
Either way I went back to ICS 7.3 for now (could not get very good deep sleep, buggy headphone controls) and will have to try it again.

Task & KToonsez AOKP 9/14 - Flashing the zip file in Recovery says successful but upon reboot, Task Manager doesn't show up in app drawer. Manually copying the apk to /system/app and setting permissions to rw--r-r works though. Thank you!
If it's helpful to anyone, since most of you use Gapps, if you throw the apk in the gapps .zip, it'll save you a few steps when upgrading roms. If people are lazy then let me know and I'll make one for ya guys

When I try to install, I have the screen where it authorizes to access my personal data, and I have the choice between install or cancel.
Both options seems valid (none greyed) but I actually cannot click on install. It just refuses to take my click into account.
Any idea? Actually any apk on my /sdcard cannot be installed... Though I authorized unknown sources...

to me it replaced default app

Flashed it on a Nexus S running JellyShot 4.7 (4.2.2) with marmite 8.7 bigmem. I was able to start the app, check out the menus, take a couple of pictures (it saved one out of 4) and then it crashed. Can't stay in the Gallery for more than 10 seconds either. =)

If you're running a stock AOSP 4.2.2 rom, it'll replace your camera. If running TouchWiz, it should install it and you should have two camera apps, TW and stock Android.
I think if you're on AOSP it'll replace the stock one but if you're on a Samsung ROM it'll leave the Samsung camera alone.
I had the default cm camera and a different version of this camera installed in which photosphere didn't work. Flashed this and it got rid of the stock cm camera and left me with just this s4 one with working photosphere.

Bugs (v2):
->Miui Theme Switcher dont work at all
->FC in storage options
->Original miui launcher crashes, so i replaced it with mihome (same developer, same functions, but deactivate lockscreen in launcher settings, otherwise you got 2 of them)
->camcorder doesnt work and problems with video playing
->no touchkey backlight (i think its just deactivated in settings somewhere)
->MIUI gallery shows no thumbnails
if you find some more, tell me pls

it is based on dh.harald´s cm10 rom. So the rom uses his cm10 kernel and wifi, audio etc works. Dont flash another kernel, just use the one provided in this miui version.
Btw would be nice if some of you who get this rom working could describe what configuration (624mb or 482 mb etc) they are using and how stable the rom works for you

I love this ROM! Not stable enough for normal use sadly also, I can't seem to make a custom carrier name and there is a roaming symbol when there shouldn't be (national roaming)! Is there anyway you can incorporate the standard CM setting 'National Data Roaming'? Thanks!

EDIT; Well, since the rom that made porting possible was dh.harald's cm10, i went into his post and checked if there was a modified vold.fstab
