[Q] Need help/advice for pre-paid carriers in Toronto, Canada - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

Hi there,
I'm looking for any recommendations for any pre-paid carriers in Toronto, Canada. I'm planning on visiting for a week and would like to have full access on my phone. I have both T-Mobile USA and AT&T phones, so I know that Wind and Roger's will work.
I was just wondering if any of you out there have any advice or tips on which one to use. I devices are the AT&T Galaxy Note (primary phone) and Nexus S (T-Mobile bands) as a secondary phone. I would like to tether and video chat with my phone.
Thanks for any help everyone!

[Q] Unlocked Telus Note on AT&T Pay As You Go

Hi All,
I'll be travelling to California from Canada soon, and I was wondering if I would be able to use my unlocked Telus Galaxy Note with an AT&T GoPhone plan? I did this last summer with my unlocked Telus Fascinate (SGH-T959D) and it worked great for voice and data.
What APN settings should I use?
Will I be able to use LTE or will it just be HSPA+ speeds?
Thanks All.

[Q] TMoUS experts, need your input - TZones content

Short and sweet:
Have $5.99 unlimited T-Zones. Want SGS III, and want to surf HSPA+ (on the down low, like I do currently with my int'l HTC Sensation)
TMO branded T999 out of the question ?
Any other sources for a T999 variant ( Canada maybe? ) with IMEI unknown to TMoUS ?
Can I get the ATT variant, root, install TMo modem like on the Galaxy Note?
Thanks for any help !!!
Bump for the new week - with another Q:
Does the carrier Wind Mobile in Canada use the same AWS spectrum as TMOUS? They have a SGSIII variant too...

Will my Korean S2 be able to use 3G on T-Mobile in the USA?

I just recently bought a Korean Galaxy S2 (SHW-M250K) on eBay. It's unlocked and in great condition. I've been thinking of switching from Verizon to T-Mobile for a long time now because I don't do a whole lot of calling, and I'm paying $70 a month for a flip phone from Verizon with only 450 minutes and no type of data access at all. With that said, I'm pretty sure this new phone will work in the states with a local SIM, but I wasn't aware that some phones are only able to achieve 2G speeds (can't remember why exactly). Does anyone know specifically if this model will be capable of 3G or not? Thanks in advance.

[Q] Ordering a phone from China

Hello all!
I am going to be traveling internationally for an extended period and am looking to get a new phone. I currently use a Samsung Galaxy S3 on the AT&T LTE network.
I am looking for some advice on what to get, here is some of the things I would like:
Dual SIM support
Work on the USA AT&T network as well as being a global GSM phone
Android custom ROM compatible
Normal bells/whistles: GPS, Wireless, Bluetooth, Camera
Thanks for any insite that you might be able to provide. I have looked through the various China wholesale type sites and there are just SO many phones to choose from its a bit daunting.

Anyone have any recommendations?

[Q] Best option for prepaid in Canada?

I'll be traveling to Canada for 2 weeks at the end of the month. I'm running CM11 on my Note2 so no issues with adding the correct APN.
Does anyone have any recent experiences with the VZW Note2 in Canada on any of the carrier's prepaid plans? Looks like its either Rogers/Fido or Bell.
I am really looking for text and data.
Thanks.
FYI it looks like one of the cheapest is Koodo (runs off Telus). HSPS+ and LTE.
