Pull it off the Rom link and it seems to work on the resound , maybe a modder can edit the wallpaper to lockscreen so it won't force close ...feels like any ics launcher Just a little touch of touchwiz feel. Some of the widgets at the app drawer won't work because its not install on the phone.

Damn this is ****ing SMOOTH!!! Much better than apex. Only problem is it won't let me add Widgets it says "not installed with permission needed for binding Widgets" I assume its the same sort of problem apex has on an unroted phone or if you forget to check root helper. I'm just not sure how to fix this with the touchwiz launcher

Install as system app by placing apk in /system/app

Yup might pull some of the stock ics widgets n see if that makes it work , but yea this launcher runs smooth as hell!

EDIT: I just deleted and and placed it back in /system/app changed permissions to rw r r and installed it and now I can add Widgets...the weird thing is that's EXACTLY what I did before

Got it working, after flashing the zip I then moved the lib file to the lib folder, set permissions, then manually moved the Seclauncher apk from pc to sd card and just installed..
I'm sure you thanked me by nudging me to try on gingerbread? thanks given to you for this! Now we should bring a SG III rom to the table it should be possible as my old inspire had Roms from every other new HTC device

Okay pushing the app causes it to crash, best call would be to just install it, I'm assuming the options on it won't work due to the lack of the TW framework.

I would prolly push the apk to /system/app then tap the apk to install. There's a lib file that goes with it

Push the apk file to system/app then install, widgets stick and you're capable of changing your wallpaper as well.

I have tried a few driving apps but I think what I really need, given the space on the Note II, is to just make my own driving interface out of widgets. If such a thing is possible. Unfortunately I am not finding what I need and I was wondering if anyone here knows of any matches
I am looking for a maps, or even better, a navigation widget. IE something I can place on the screen as a widget 4x4 or something like that that is showing the navigation app. using widgets which I can resize and place myself. I am essentially looking to make my own dash screen. But the key component is a widget version of maps and/or navigation.
If you change the dp in system with xposed, you can have floating windows. Then you can have navigation floating over all of your screens, and close it when finished. I know that this isn't what you are asking, just a suggestion.

It is not the perfect solution, but it works. Sometimes you havecto back out ofcit instead of closing it. Other than that, it is awesome.

Can you be a little more specific? Can not seem to reproduce that in xposed.
Sure thing. First install xposed, then install app settings. Enable app settings, then reboot. Gointo app settings, and click android. When the screen pops up, click on dp. Change the dp to 600x1024. Reboot, and you should have floating windows.
These are the setings I use. The only problem that I have had from changing this is my lockscreen rotates, and only shows 3 shortcuts on the lockscreen.

Strange. I already have Xposed installed as I run Jelly "Beans" and use the custom DPI on a few apps. But when I make those changes to Android System I don't see any change to the apps I open such as maps. No biggy, just curious why it doesn't work.

Are you saving it and then force closing the app? When you open it after that it should be the edited dpi.

After you save you have to go into the app list in settings. Go to each app you changed and then hit force stop. When you reopen the app...you should be good to go.

Only android system. It also only gave me the pin on the bottom of the 2 multi window apps.
Ok, because I think the screen space is wasted with the normal launcher I made up on with a 5x5 Home Screen grid and a 5x6 App drawer. This is my preferred combo...
To install this you need to be rooted and have a file manager with root access such as ES File Manager.
WARNING! Most Touchwiz widgets will not work well with this mod!
Installation
Temporarily install another launcher while doing this
Unzip the file and copy it over to the SD Card somwwhere
Copy SecLauncher3.apk and Odex to a folder on Storage for safe keeping.
Now Copy the new SecLauncher3.apk to the /system/app directory and delete the SecLauncher3.odex file. (If you installed the De-Odex mod you wont have the odex file)
Reboot
Set default back to TouchWiz Launcher
Enjoy!

We dont have recovery for AT&T so you will need to follow the instructions in the OP.

Yes, touchwiz for me is amazing. God, i loved your ROM for the Note 2, because the mods for the more space in the homescreen without messing the widgets lol, again, hope to see your ROM for this one.

Yeah, the only widget that doesnt work right is the Weather widget which is fine because I use HD Widgets and would much rather have the screen be utilized to its potential.

Great job on the new s4 launcher it looks almost identical to the s4 only thing left to theme is the home indicator icon as the house and leave other screens indicator as the square but I'm not sure how to do that. Excellent job man!

i will try make the currnt screen icon as galaxy s4..but the home screen icon is hard to made
First this is not a port.
Second this is a very crappy themed s3 launcher..
Third, the animations are different in s4 launcher
Fourth, the home page overview is way different in s4 launcher..
Fifth learn mathematics...

IMO this is the best s4 themed launcher Ive seen. I highly doubt you could theme it better and I know you sure as hell couldn't port it. So there is no reason for you to talk sh*t

But there are ways and ways to tell "the truth". If you didn't like it don't use it, don't be rude.
