NOTE:I did not create this ROM, ACEOYAME DID with the combined efforts of Dragonzkiller and others.
As with all ROM's, Scripts, or sticking your phone in water...there is a chance you will break it. Aceoyame, XDA nor I are responsible nor are telling you to break your device. We are showing you how we succeeded in installing this ROM!
Also recommended is an alternate Launcher, as the MIUI launcher uses alot of vram due to the icons and such on screens.
Known Issues
Most same bugs as CM94DX2 Bugs known No Camera
Working Features
Wifi Works!
Data Works!
SD card Works!
USB Works!
MIUI Launcher works!(Still a bit unstable)
Flashing over MIUI Alpha2
Nandroid Backup
If you're coming from alpha 2(build 2.5.25) Wipe, wipe, wipe BEFORE you flash latest build!!!
New installations
SBF to 2.3.4 unless you are already there.
Root your Motorola Droid X2.
Install the Motorola Droid X2 Bootstrap Recovery (BSR).
Put the DaytonaMIUI2_6_8.zip and the dragonzkiller's patched BSR apk on the external SD card.
Boot into BootStrap Recovery.
YOU MUST WIPE DATA AND CACHE! This has 4.0 framework and is very different from CM7's or any other ROM's 2.3.x framework.
Install the DaytonaMIUI2_6_8.zip .
Install the gapps from goo-inside.me for cm9
IMPORTANT! Wipe data and cache (factory reset) and wipe dalvik cache!
Boot your phone into MIUI. (You will probably have to activate if you didn't after you SBF'd and setup your Google account here.)
Install the patched Motorola Droid X2 Bootstrap Recovery (BSR). (This can be found in the download section of this post. Once you have MIUI4DX2 installed, you MUST install this BSR!)
Go into the Android Market and update the apps on the phone.
Sit back and enjoy MIUI 4 on your DX2!
Please see NOTES in Post 2 for additional information!
If using MIUI Launcher reboot after changing themes, launcher will crash without reboot
MIUI 4 Droid X2
G Apps for CM9
PATCHED BSR
For support please post below, one of us may have solved the problem or contact Aceoyame on Twiiter @aceoyame
This is a preliminary post, more to come...
Not necessary, but if you would like to buy Aceoyame a shot of grain alcohol or a coffee,
you can paypal him using [email protected]

For themes you need to open the terminal and type su (hit enter)
Allow su at prompt
Then type
chmod -R 777 /data/ (hit enter)
that will work until you wipe data.
V6 script is not included I only made the rom compatible with it.
If using MIUI Launcher you Must REBOOT after changing themes in Theme Manager. It seems to crash the Launcher without a reboot
Oh and for mx2 users I removed any script asserts so just make your usual changes and it should work

When can we expect the fixed zip...not that I can't do the adb fixes but I am not near the computer for the day and would like to flash it....don't have twitter so can't ask ace

So what are the BUGS we can expect to see in this? The same ones that are in CM9, more or less?
Thanks for the post, thank the Dev's for their hard work!

Yes, most of CM9 bugs, I'll have a detailed list shortly.
DROID DOES, Apple did...like I forgot when

I will try this out when the fixed zip is available. I've never used ADB. Looking forward to it though.

Thanks for your contribution .

Ace also posted on his twitter that he will no longer develop MIUI for X2 once he gets this fixed up and finalized, so he's looking for any takers who wish to continue development of MIUI.
If you are willing, contact him on Twitter @aceoyame

It seems he has an interview today, and stated that he will upload a fixed zip, I'll update OP when that time comes

CM9 has way to many people complaining about battery life, so lets take a ROM that needs 1g ram and see how much it can drain a 512's battery!!

You DO realize cm9 is in the extreme alpha stage, right? It's not meant to be a daily driver.
Miui sit has its share of issues as well.
The most stable ROMs currently are cm7 and eclipse.
Tapped via Tapatalk from my Eclipsed 2.2 phone.

Sweet. Will flash when he puts out the final build.

(ROM) Biffmod Fascinate v1.3 - 2.3.5 AOSPish (8-14-2011)

Now available on rommanager and the Biffmod home page http://ibmirror.us/biffmod
Biffmod for Fascinate is here. I think you'll enjoy it.
The goal here was to create a stock 2.3.5 feel for the Fascinate , preserve the customization options of Cyanogenmod, and add the features I felt were missing.

Well, unless the OP has leaked GB source code for the fascinate (being sarcastic) then he is most likely using Jt's libaudio.so in which has the low call volume you are talking about.

Infinitybiff, I'm not going to use the rom because I'm in love with miui. Looks like you've done great work. I would like to make a request that you continue developing for us so that I can have something entertaining to read in your OP.

well besied the black camera
but still +1 to the OP....good work!
Why is there no credit for JT? He's the one that made AOSP/CM happen for this phone. Without him there would be no AOSP-based ROMs.
I do like the boot animation alot...can we get that in a flashble?
Is it possible for you to post the CWM4 package for the kernel on its own? I'd like to test that out. Thanks.

Im sure its a mistake and he forgot....but if you go check out his biffmod thread over at the vibrant fourms he gives JT credit. And its the same rom just ported over to fascinate. (BLIND) so give him a break his credit to JT was already given

Thanks man! Been wanting this for a while.
Has anyone else tried this on Eclipse yet?
If so what version?
I'm using v.0.1 (havent upgraded yet untill the account force close is fixed)
Should this work with v.0.1?
Bah.... I just installed it.
Works great so far! Couple questions though.
How do I get the KB pictured in the top post? My KB is still the standard. I looked under settings/language & KB and all I have is Multi-touch and swype..... tried them both.
Another thing.... love the status bar tweaks.... is there anyway to change the alarm clock icon so its green like the others?
Its so nice that I dont have to hide my status bar because of the ugly miss matched color scheme...... Thanks a million man
For the keyboard, I haven't put it in the op yet but you can get it from my other posts, and it'll work. And for the alarm icon I believe I can , and thanks for pointing it out.
Glad you're enjoying my theme

Installed the KB from the other thread, works great. I just didn't realize what it was. Thought it was just a themed KB.
How hard would it be to theme just the standard multi-touch KB?
Are you doing all this from the UOT Kitchen and then using ur own script?
I posted this in your other thread by accident. I checked the download and it says funkeneclipse so I know I'm on this version of your theme. Its great! A little light, no change in icons on settings page, menus, but what is themed is well done. I'm not the biggest fan of green, and if you did more it may be too much.
I had one reboot about 5 minutes after install but nothing since. I had this prior to the theme so its more an eclipse thing I'm sure.

It wouldn't be to hard at all and I'll probably include it with my next update.
And no this is all with various tools for decompiling/compiling .9 pngs, smali, and xml, gimp for image editing and other programs for odds and ends.

Superb job so far monkey! I have been running this rom since last night with 0 problems so far! I do have a few questions though.
Will you be tweaking the theme a bit more? Like adding 1% battery mod or changing the 3g bars?
Will you be adding int.d support?
Will you look into removing CIQ?

Thanks s0ckm0nk3y! loving the rom, stable fantastic battery life fast, only thing im noticing is every call i have in and out defaults to speakerphone, its not a huge deal, but i recall some of the earlier roms on the photon having this issue too.

AOKP&CM9Remix
I am not a developer, but just someone who wanted an update for AOKP, and since we are no longer supported it didn't seem like that would happen.
I have put together an UNOFFICIAL update for AOKP by porting in some changes from another popular ROM that was recently discontinued **CoughO.a.TCoughLntCough08/29Cough**
I also threw in Nova Launcher, because it's may favorite, and the DPI is 132.
Usual disclaimer applies, do full wipes, install GAPPs, ect.
No, the camera does not work, lol.

Didn't think I needed permission, I just used some stuff from his build of CM9 to 'update' AOKP. It is now my own creation... nobody has to download or flash it. Just wanted to share in the case anyone else wanted to try it too.
Thanks for clarifying.

Yes, it is still very much AOKP based... Guess a screen shot might help
Which AOKP build did you use?
The unofficial M6...

Running great in my TP. Much smoother than the unofficial M6.
Thanks for the upload! If you ever decide to make another mash-up, please do let us know!

Are you having any problems with market compatibility? I am currently trying to get that under wraps, but was wondering if it was just me...
I pretty much side load everything anyhow, but want it to work well for others who don't.
Also, I have a version of Adobe Flash Player I could include that works great with the stock browser.

I do think adding flash to these Roms is a good idea. I know flash is working its way out but there are still many sites and things that use it.
I Too tried your rom and unfortunetly for the short period it was on my tp it ran great. I keep reverting to CM10 even tho there's no sound. I still like the feeling of having JB on the TP. Thanks.
Wanted to say thanks to anyone who has installed this ROM as I am really interested in taking the next step into Compiling ROM's myself, and it's great to have some interest.

As for market compatibility, I just noticed now that I am having some compatibility issues... did you modify the build prop, or is it on account of the DPI settings, would you say?
I'd be interested in seeing your flash adaptation, as for me, I use the market flash player patched va Lucky Patcher to allow Hulu on mobile devices. How does yours differ?
Thanks again for the mash-up, and if you gots the time, I would love to see more from you.
Cheers!
EDIT: so dpi had nothing to do with it.... exploring other options. I'll weigh in more if I figure anything out.
Yea, the only change in the build prop was the build name and DPI.
Unfortunately my touchpad is going on a trip without me for a while so I am not going to be able to experiment.

Enjoy the trip!
Figured something out with compatibility.... Set the DPI to 120, clear market cache, reboot, load the play store, accept the terms, reset DPI to 132, and reboot.....
Just don't clear market cache, now.... lol, or no more compatibility.
Also, I've been having a SOD issue with the ROM..... any suggestions?
Cheers!
hey i was wondering if you ever do another build, could you include this patch with it? http://rootzwiki.com/topic/30054-trebuchet-patch-for-changing-grid-size-up-to-11x11/

Why don't you just flash the.zip?
Sent from my CM9 TouchPad using TapaTalk 2
If anyone's interested, set the DPI back to 160 via Rom Control or Rom Toolbox. Fixes compatibility. I'd rather have 132, but its just not worth the fight.
I'll be mashing up an update with the latest CM9 as soon as I have my TP back! I'll look into any requests you guys might have, as it would be nice to add some extra functionality.
Sent from my SGH-I897 using xda premium
I am also looking into porting AOKP from T989 which I also have and has an identical chip set. It would be fun to see CM10 AOKP on touchpad... of course it would have the current limitations of CM10 test builds, ex. No sound.

Anything. Nothing will run for me out of init.d. For an example, try luis's proximity sensor disable script: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1874297
So from the first "common tip" in the OP, am I to understand that this ROM has google now built it? And does it have the andreno drivers?
I might give it a whirl. This is the golden era for Rezound crack flashers!!!!

Hey hey. There wasn't any need for that come on man. You know what gray is trying to say. There are 4 different threads to cm9 builds right now that are very similar. If I wanted to I could upload a cm9 ROM with a couple build.prop tweaks, beats dsp, and google now and make a new thread but theres no point. I agree that it would be the coolest if we could have one thread for cm9 builds with a tweaks section where all you guys can have flashable tweaks. It would clean up the Development section, comments would be in the same place, etc. Gray didn't mean anything mean by his post, just like I don't mean anything mean with mine. This is for the community man

I understand what your saying but I'm actually going to fully theme and do more then build prop edits. If I just had a few tweaks I would of just uploaded them instead of wasting my time compiling the source. Plus gray is saying not to do something he already has done... all he did was just post the source build from chad, and like you said anyone can do, it only requires a repo from Chad's github.
Anyways I'm done talking about it. I made this thread to share my works. Download the rom or don't and move on

Just seems unnecessary to have 3 builds.
I am looking forward to seeing your themes and stuff.
