So what do you lucky people think so far? - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

What do you lucky ones think so far?
Since I don't have one on a delivery truck today, I have to live vicariously though others. I see lots of pictures of people opening their boxes but no early feedback yet.

i don't know yet took mine out of the box and the battery was all the way dead and it wouldn't turn on ....waiting for it to charge

That sucks. Hopefully it charges quickly. What phone are you coming from?

Mine's been on the UPS truck since 12:09am. The regular UPS guy here at work is normally here by 9:30am. He's on vacation. The replacement is known to be slow as molasses, and I'm sitting here hitting F5 on the friggin' UPS tracking page.

OG evo 4g ....it seems all the iphone people in my office are having phone envy

the phone is so nice although it does have a few quirks.
the screen is as good as everyone made it out to be too

display is great and...... face unlock is the shiz!!!!

What are the quirks? Don't leave us hanging!!

The Eagle has landed!!
This is one beautiful phone!

I really like it!! the screen is pretty crazy. I can look at it from any angle and it looks crystal clear sharp like the fake photo's they put on phones in stores that aren't powered on.
I give build quality a B, but compare it to other phones its def an A+. A step in the right direction and i hope phone manufacturers continue in the trend, phones just feel terrible nowadays, all plastic ETC. They just dont last the abuse they are put through.
kickstand is beyond sturdy. OG Evo wasn't 100% stable and this one (probably because of placement) is amazingly stable, even when its in portrait facing you.
one quirk i've noticed so far; is that the dedicated camera button doesn't actually open the camera app. But it probably just needs to be set somewhere, but that brings up a point.. you could set it to anything you wanted....
edit: aha! just gotta hold the button for a second (it vibrates to let you know it registered) and then let go, and then it opens. pretty nice for the accidental bump!

Question on Burst mode w/ led flash...how does that work (if it does at all)?
Is it a continuous flash or does the light stay on..it's kinda minor, but I've been wondering. I would think continuous shot would be best used in low light situations to avoid blur..hence my question..

Display is beautiful. can't stress that enough.
It's about half as thick as the OG evo, I was shocked how this it is.. it's almost as thin as an ipod touch.
My *only* complaint so far has been the camera button. I was under the impression that pressing the button even when your phone is locked would bring the camera up.. it doesn't.
And even when it's unlocked, I have the press the camera button 3 or 4 times to get it to come up. Hopefully it's just a software issue HTC can fix.
I'll try and answer any questions you guys might have, though I'm at work so burst mode camera flash testing is probably off the table
Kick stand is awesome... i'm charging my phone in the "alternate" kick stand position right now, and it seems plenty sturdy.. even having a heavy case I don't think would phase it.

it flashes on the first pic, and then remains off, the flash indicator in the top left greys out with a strike through it, I took a quick peek through the menus and didn't see an option for it to stay on in burst mode.

i kinda wish the whole back of the case was the matte finish my hand tends to stick on the shiny part ...but other than that this thing is just awesome ...and i haven't even connected it yet just using on wifi via my og evo.

Only a sample of each lot was used for testing. And those units that were tested were not shipped out to customers.
I got mine this morning and I am loving it. Display is awesome! I'm currently loading a few HD movies on it to see how they look.

hrmm...sounds like that could use a bit of modification, while I do recognize the potential adverse side effects (ie strobe light on each burst shot, ha)

Knew I'd hate it, but I was wrong

OK, I had fully decided to sit this one out. All week, I've been reading and watching reviews. Though I had a preorder at Radio Shack, I read the reports on launch day and decided to stay home and call in to cancel. I was one of the nay-sayers.
But yesterday, I was shopping next to the Sprint Store, and decided to go in to see it... and I was hooked. Went to Radio Shack, and the girl there saved me the last Evo 3D anyway, knowing I'd come in after all. How funny.
My reaction after having it for awhile? I truly love my OG Evo, but this device is much better in very noticeable ways:
1. The first thing I noticed is a small thing, but the haptic feedback is DRAMATICALLY better. Tighter and more subtle, just as it should be. Haven't heard this in any of the reviews, but I really like it. Makes the whole phone feel better for me, because I'm a fan of the feedback, especially with the keyboard.
2. This think is insanely fast and smooth. No lag, and it feels almost like it can read my mind going somewhere before I think about it.
3. Not a Sense fan, but I like the effects and speed of this. I could see myself staying with Sense if devs are able to improve on it. See gripes below on what I don't like.
4. Camera isn't as bad as I expected. It may even be significantly improved. The app definitely is. Low light stills are better. Video is improved but still awful, and the sound is not improved at all.
5. The 3D? I actually love it. It's fun... really a nice feature. But I can see that you have to have good eyesight and some patience for it. My wife took one look and wanted nothing more of it. Reminds me of the old Viewmaster images, and I was a big fan. Brings back a bit of my childhood. Good app idea is for Viewmaster to revive all its old collections and make them available for download. How cool would that be? Sign me up!
6. As a phone, I love that the speaker is loud enough, and call quality doesn't sound any worse. Not sure it's improved, though.
OK, now for some gripes:
1. Though I generally like the size and weight, the new screen actually feels much smaller. It's narrower, of course, which in combination with the higher resolution makes everything smaller in portrait view. I'm not sure the screen is brighter and better than the Evo as some have said... seems somewhat duller by comparison.
2. My biggest gripe is that the capacitive buttons are TOO FREAKING BRIGHT, and there doesn't seem to be a way to fix that. And they never shut off. Devs need to fix this or give us ways to adjust to taste.
3. The 3D in movies is much harder to see and notice. The movies have tended to make 3D effect more subtle, and therefore it's difficult to see dramatic effect on this smaller screen. That's both good and bad, I guess. Don't imagine I'll be investing in 3D movies on this, but who knows?
4. Small things... a little harder to hold (or maybe I'm not used to it yet), the speaker isn't as good or as loud and there seems to be a bit of vibration.
5. Sense 3.0, though fun and slick, feels confining and incomplete to me. I miss some of the customization I had in CM7, but would love to keep the lockscreen and weather effects. Somebody explain to me the function of that stupid carousel. First time, "whee!" but after just dumb. This phone desperately needs root and the devs to add things that are missing (customizable buttons on the notification bar, GB wink-out effects, custom rosie, etc.).
In conclusion, I expected to hate it, or not like it enough to try it. That was dead wrong. Is it enough for me to keep it? Well, some key improvements are missing for me, like a significantly improved camera (I'm a photographer, and very picky about this). Sure, I have better cameras, but this one is with me all the time. I'd like to remove the SD card without removing the battery.
I'm loving the 3D, but can see how some non-nerds would lose patience with it quickly. I'm guessing that we'll see a service for ordering 3D prints in the future and other sample 3D photos (c'mon, Viewmaster!), and that will be fun.
Bottom line is that it HAS to get root in the next 30 days, or it goes back for sure. I've seen too many improvements on the Evo with custom ROMs, and I've made my phone new again so many times over. Gotta have that. And just think what the devs could do with this phone.
Nice review! Interesting perspective.
Yeah... No clue about the carousel.. it spins to fast to be useful... I love mine too!
The buttons definitely are to bright... They need to dim with the screen.

I was leary of a launch day buy but I'm really glad I got it.
I really didn't care about 3d but I must admit I'm liking it.
Have to have root though.
Forgot to add.. I hate the app drawer, I want to fling it.
The charge port needs to be on right side.
The bright capacitive buttons where starting to get on my nerves as well. You can turn them off with the "screen filter" app from the market. The its primary feature is to dim the screen, but you can keep the screen at 100% and still disable the buttons' backlight.
Speaking of lights...why the hell would HTC take away my flashlight and give me a mirror? I used that HTC Flashlight all the time! Sure as heck don't need to be looking at my ugly self all the time, lol. I know I can download one, but just saying.

You know, I think I like the port where it is. Nice place for my thumb to go. The narrower phone is making holding and thumb typing much more difficult in portrait mode... That's another gripe for me.

I'm still on the fence, but I do shoot video with my phone enough (hey, it's always with me) to have this turn me off. I've dealt with the Evo 4G's terrible (and I mean, TERRIBLE!) audio on videos because it's overall a great phone, but I was hoping the next generation would have fixed the problem. Poop.
First thing I noticed was the haptic feedback as well. I told the BB employee that it felt like the Droid X and he said that a few other people had told him that, too.
I didn't notice how bright the capacitive buttons were, so I guess it doesn't bother me.
I hate the app drawer as well! I don't like the "pages." I feel that pages could've been implemented better (um, horizontally maybe?)
As much as I thought I'd be keeping 3d off permanently I've actually had a lot of fun messing around with it.
One other small thing that bugs me is how the clock widget always seems to have to catch up when you go back to the home page from something else. It's frozen on the time it was when you were looking at it last and quickly flips to update. It's minor, and won't matter too much because I plan on not using the sense clock widget anyway.

The carousel would make more sense if it took you to the home screen every time you flicked it. You can use that instead of the home button.
Why I would use the carousel to bring me back to the same page I am on makes no sense to me.....
Thanks for the review OP, i think you were head-on with your points.
I do think tho, the narrowness of this device allows me to put a case on it and actually prefer its larger width, i loved that in the OG Evo.
As for the Carousel, kinda lame that once you flick it and it starts spinning, you can't put your finger on it and choose which screen to go to, it always recovers to the screen you flicked from.

I'm right handed, talking while charging blows plus it stresses the port.
Just extract the flashlight apk from a sense rom in the EVO 4g dev section, it works fine on our phones.
Also I kinda like the narrower size, it fits better in my hand and pocket. I was ready for a new phone and I don't regret picking this one up at all.

mine goes back today.
i am tired of waiting for HTC and Sprint to release a phone that has been properly tested and functional.
ringers and notifications too low even at full volume
camera switch on my phone jiggle (cheap feeling)
occasional screen freeze
lower than desired photo quality
and of course...
locked bootloader
i have no intention of waiting for HTC to get off their asses. i know all the top devs are working hard and its appreciated, but my money will be spent on a different device

Another problem with the screen, do you have it also?

Don't kill me, I have to know.
Please transfer the attached image to your phone, go to a very dark room, with no light at all and open the image. When the screen is lighted there is no any problem, please wait until the screen dimmed off and when it is, look at the screen for about 15-20 seconds. Do you see black spots on the more pale background? look at it close to the screen.

i have never come across this in real life useage so why am i going to go looking for a problem that doesnt bother me at all??
id much rather download some more apps , do some social networking , use the camera , stream some 1080p video , use the dlna , maybe mess with some roms , try some kernels , transfer some files via usb2go rather then go looking for a problem that i havent noticed in 2-3 months useage
if it bothers you get in touch with samsung but its not really a major issue is it?? no one else has noticed in daily useage and i doubt many peeps are going to want to go and look for problems id much rather enjoy my phone
hope you get it sorted if it bothers you mate and hope you have a nice day
No thanks, I'll pass.
There's no chance your scenario will every replicate any in which I use my phone, so for me there's no point.
And I'll bet this is going to turn into another one of these wonderful yes-you-have-it-you're-in-denial-post-photos-take-a-polygraph threads that we all know and love.
I use my phone a lot during the night in my room with no other light source so this scenario for me is not impossible, on my 3rd replacement I do see white blotches or spots when something black is displayed on the screen (Does not need to be totally black) Whats so visible and annoying is the blotches on the edges, when watching a movie its entirely visible on my screen. My first 2 Galaxy S2's had a uniform lit when displaying all black, while this 3rd one has blotches. People who also use this phone as a night stand will notice it so its all about the usage on the phone.
I believe this is the one they call finger prints behind the screen.. Not sure though..
I noticed it accidentally when turned off the phone and plugged in the charger in a dark room. It is not only spots but stripes also.

Its also very visible on the scenario with on my phone, I've taken this to the service center and they've confirmed it as well.. Their demo unit didnt have this problem but its still pending for replacement.
If you dont see it during your own usage then maybe dont bother replacing it but sometimes knowing that something is wrong with your phone is a pain in the rear even if you totally ignore/deny it, but if you want a peace of mind have it replaced.

Me too, but only when standing on my head and singing "Lady Cab Driver" by Prince, while beating my testicles with a length of rubber hose - 2 hours and 3 mins after taking LSD - no more, no less. Unfortunately, I always use my phone under these conditions.
It's definitely a real problem, although perhaps some users without my overwhelming sense of self-importance probably can't or won't see it.
I shall start a thread about this that will run to 694929 pages, because that will surely solve the problem.
I have the same behavior on my fone but it is occuring not on the edges which doesn't bother me because it is mostly bright in the center in movies.
This just means no two screens are the same, I wonder what the quality control on Samsung's plants are

Capacitive button light leakage

Just got my Amaze 4G this weekend, I found out that there're light leakage from the capacitive buttons, so anytime they are on the black at the bottom of the screen just looks brightened. I want to take it to T-Mobile for a return but don't know if I will get hit with a $50 restocking fee. Is the light leakage a common problem or just that I have a defect device? I appreciate any input, thanks guys.
I think its a common problem, I have it on mine, if you can't live with it you should return it or use Screen Filter App by Haxor on the marketplace to turn off the light on the buttons.

that's why I research when I buy things before I buy them...I don't mind it at all...There are like a thousand pages about light leakage (everyone has it, thats how the phone was made) and how to get around it on this forum.
I see what you are saying, the problems when I was watching some of the review videos on youtube, none of them have the light leakage problem.
Its not so obvious unless the bottom of the screen is all black or a dark color.
Like I said you can download Screen Filter App to turn off the light.

some phones have it brighter than others, my dad's phone is not too bad, my phone is a little worse in terms of the bleed.
you have choices, download screen filter, or return the phone and pay a restocking fee, honestly, its not a big issue!!! There are a lot of work around when watching videos etc. use the search function on top of the screen and search for screen bleed as i mentioned before.
ummm... isn't that how the phone is supposed to be?
When you turn the phone off, the light is there.. I really don't find it bad at all

if you are custom rom install crt enabler and it turns off. if you are stock everything call htc ask to send you another phone and try your luck see if that other one has less noticable light leakage
Thanks guys for all your replies, I'm not picky but just want to find out if it's a common case or just my unit, because if it's the latter then there's no reason for me to not return it and get a new one. Thanks again!
Just an FYI. I called HTC last week to send me a new cover for my phone in hopes that it had a thicker gasket that would fix the camera flash bleed. While I was talking to their support, I asked if they knew about the screen bleed from the Capacitive buttons. If so, has the problem been resolved with the newer phones. She hasn't heard anything about the issue so she transferred me to a different dept.
I explained the issue again to the new tech rep. She hasn't heard anything about the issue either. She grabbed a one of their test phones and was able to replicate the issue. She created a ticket about the issue and info about my phone (radio, software version, etc..). She then told me that she is going to send the ticket to their engineering dept about the issue. That I should expect a call sometime soon cornering the issue.
Today I received a call from HTC about the issue. The phone call was basically going over what I did before. Like giving the info about the issue, them checking it out on a test phone, them telling me that they were able to replicate the issue, etc... The tech that I spoke with said that he need to forward this ticket to the hardware department because they are the software dept and it’s a hardware issue. The support guy told me that he will keep in touch with me with what the hardware dept has to say and if they will have a solution for the issue.
I figure that I'd post here in hope that maybe if we can get more people to call and complain about the issue, they will listen and fix the issue.
Here is their number: 1-866-449-8358 for anyone that is interested in calling

It's unfair to assume that they will not do anything about it when it's clear that they can do something. Obviously the won't recall all the devices however they can include an update to lower the brightness of the buttons thus reducing the condition. It may not eliminate the problem completely but if they can reduce it by at least 50% it would be a huge improvement. My beef with it is that the buttons remain lit while docked which seems pointless to me.
Anyway... let's try to be a little more friendly, alright?

I've been using screen filter since I've received my phone. It works but not an acceptable solution. It doesn't hurt to try to see if HTC will come up with a solution. Even if its like what binary suggested, a software fix.

I consider it track lighting, doesn't bother me at all.

Your an ass! It's a legitimate complaint. Especially for an HTC device. They need to here about it. Dimming the lights would be a good cure. Did they feed him a line of crap...probably. It doesn't call for a comment like yours. I don't comment on here much but deuche bags like you are all over xda forums and its really annoying.

Didn't mean to offend anyone. Didn't think you'd take it so dry.
I'd recommend this. I didn't realize it until it was mention. I turned off Screen Filter and it seems to work fine. It's not as stable as I like, but it's getting there and faux123 is doing a great job. When looking at black pictures it still creeps. But it's not as bad.

Since a few beta builds ago, I've enabled Dynamic Button Light capability.
At night when the light is dim, the buttons should light up based on amount of light detected (variable). When the amount of light is large, then the button light will turn itself off to conserve additional power.
To test this, go to a dark room, you should see the button lights, then use a good flash light and shine at the sensors (near the top of the phone) and you should see the button light turn off, then once you point the flash light away from the phone, the button light should come back on.

Mine was on whenever the screen was on.

Please, help correct me if I'm wrong...

My Galaxy Nexus died in a horrible freak accident, and SquareTrade ended up sending me a wad of cash to find another phone. Logically, I wanted to take the S3 for a test drive because it's the newest, hottest kid on the block (and I missed not having a MicroSD card).
I picked up my T-Mobile S3 in store today for the full retail price, and walked out excited as I always am to have a new toy in hand. Now, beware, I'm going to say some negative things about this phone, but that is because I want you guys to tell re-assure me that I'll learn to love it, or they'll get fixed etc because I really want to like this phone.
First off, the good things over my dead GNex:
Speed: Holy cow, that Krait CPU is blindingly fast. I knew the GNex was never a rocketship, but I wasn't aware of how slow it was until I played with the S3. Things run like butter, and JB(4.1) is only going to make that more amazing.
Camera: Yeah, the GNex camera sucks. This isn't as amazing as I hoped it would be, but it is nice to have something that instantly looks like crap.
Screen: It is a sweet screen, but I'm not sure if it is better than the GNex. If it is, I don't really see it (and can't compare side by side) and is still in amazing screen.
Now, the things I don't like:
SMS: WHY THE **** does my SCREEN turn on EVERY TIME an SMS comes in??? WHERE IS THE SETTING TO KILL THAT?!
Lockscreen: The "barely touch" to unlock is a joke. (Yes, I know you can replace it)
The body: Man, that blue looks pretty, but holy balls is that phone a pain to hold on to in 90 degree heat. What's the point of making a gorgeous phone that you have to keep in a case?
Build quality: It honestly doesn't feel as "solid" as the gnex, but has anyone had any quality issues with theirs yet?
Bloatware: I thought the Sensation was bad when I bought it, but this phone has so many apps that I never want to use, it's not even funny. I spent the first half hour going through and disabling applications.
Signal Quality: I drive a certain stretch of road that is hell on connections. I've had HTC's, Samsungs, etc drop out. It's just a great place to test radios and phones... Well, this one? Drops as much as the old HTC G2 did, if not more. Absolutely impossible to keep a signal. Now, thinking it was a bad signal day, I popped my micro SIM in an adapter and back into my HD2 and drove the road again... This time? No issue.
Home button: Really? A hard to press, narrow button for the most used button on the phone? I worry about dropping the phone, as it is so light, I have to hold it tightly with one hand to press the button.
So I know this may seem petty, but I'm really hoping you guys can convince me one way or another. Sure, this phone will always be faster than my GNex, but a GNex is half the price, and for me, in many ways feels like a better phone.
Thanks
Another thing I've notice, the screen can't figure out if it wants to be dim or bright. It'll sit there and go from one extreme to the other over a minutes time. Never in the middle.
Is it sounding like I have a defective unit?
I also had a Nexus Prime and I would of kept it if it had an sd card slot and WAY better camera & that's where the S3 comes in. Sure it has bloat and touchwiz isn't the best but AOSP is on its way & with it, improvements. As for build quality, I like it better than the nexus. Signal wise I was have at least 3 bars so I'm happy. I do agree though that the unit gets quite hot sometimes, but overall I love this device
Higher the processor speed the hotter it runs. You could limit the processor speed but you lose the blazing speed.. but I also lose the blazing heat. LOL.
As for the build quality its not bad. It doesn't feel like it'll break when I try to bend the unit. The gorilla glass is pretty strong but its not shatter proof. Don't drop it! Already seen a few shattered screens.
The software issues are just that.. all just software which is easy to change either by using replacement programs like handcent SMS or rooting then replacing the rom or disabling and removing the bloat. All that should matter is the hardware and if you're happy with the performance, look, feel, battery life, and reception.

Yes please but on a screen protector. Dont trust the gorilla glass its bad. they should just take gorilla glass out of the specs for the phone. it doesnt work. i dont care how many youtube videos you watch that says it does.... it doesnt

I've never had issues with scratches on my Gorilla glass, even on my tablet which gets abused in the shop while I'm working on things. Then again, my HD2 never got a scratch either.

So Handcent can fix the screen on issue? GoSMS so far hasn't been any help.

You nailed it, the camera and the MicroSD slot are the two most compelling things about this phone for me.

Yes handcent fixes that screen on issue if you disable popup notifications. That's the kind of notification that shows a dialog box with a quick reply option.
If disabled then the screen doesn't turn on and the SMS stays in the notification area.
Infact you can enable the pop-up notification but choose to disable screen on for pop-ups. That works too.

Are you sure you don't have the eye/face detection turned on? My screen does that at work (I have mine set on) and even though I'm not directly stairing at it, it picks up my eyes (I have my phone placed below my monitor). Sometimes it bugs me enough just to turn the thing face down.
or maybe it can be the autolight sensor.
:shrug
There's a setting in gosms to turn off the "screen turning on with an sms" option
My major concern is with the home button. What on earth were they thinking?
I'm a firm believer that AOSP on this phone will make it a true winner with the on-screen navigation buttons enabled and the capacitive and physical ones disabled. Maybe we could repurpose the big ol physical one to do something else in the future.

Yeah, I turned off a lot of the gesture/motion things right out of the box, as some just didn't seem natural at all. I could never get the whole unlocking motion one to work either. That was annoying for a bit.

The sad thing is, as much as I'd love to have on screen buttons like the Gnex, then we're stuck with that long chin being nonfunctional. I guess it wouldn't be bad if the back and menu button never lit up and were completely disabled. Possible use the home button as a shutter button then? Who knows.
It really does blow my mind how they did a physical button for the home button of all things.
I enjoyed a physical home button on my previous phones. To each his/her own?

I loved the ones on the HD2. However, they weren't as difficult to press, and the phone was a lot heavier. It made it so when you pushed them, the phone didn't want to flip out of your hand. The SGS3 is so smooth and lightweight, I don't even try to hit the home button one handed anymore.

Although I have a trackpad on the g2 I use it to turn the phone on so I love the home button on the s3 since a lot of times I leave the phone on the desk or table during lectures and stuff and its just convenient to turn the phone on that way but like some said its hard to press without fearing of it falling out of ur hand due to the large size and thinness

My home button is very easy to press and it never feels like it'll fall out of my hand while holding it with only one.

Maybe you have smaller thumbs? For me, I have a big wide thumb, and I have to press with enough force to make my thumb "go into the recessed" area to completely depress the button.

All The Issues i Have had with my LG V10/mini review

Let me start by saying that i bought this phone only 3 days ago and these are the problems I've found with it.
1. The Second screen back light issue. This is a common problem among many lg v10 users as i have noticed, and i have that same problem too. to the extreme left of the second display it is brighter than the rest but only when it is off. I do not find this very annoying since i do not use the second display for reading my notifications while it is off. i mostly use it when the screen is on
2. In addition to that, the power button/ fingerprint scanner combo is completely garbage, as in the actual clicking. the button seems loose and when i click it, it squeaks. Also, when i run my finger up and down the power button it wobbles and has the same annoying squeak.
3. The charging port is loose. Not so much that the cable could slide out not in that axis, but it moves side to side freely and up and down. this worries me because i think that if i put too much pressure on the cable the port could break somehow.
4. The steel bezels are nice and stuff but the gaps, are uneven at the bottom left, the metal bezel is like bent and you can easily see through it. also at the back when you pop in the cover it seems like it doesn't align with the bezel. but that might just be my ocd lol
This phone in my opinion is great the best phone I've had. but its just that these things are what let me down. This phone is great but they absolutely ruined it with the quality control. note* my batch is from January 15, 2016
U probably just got a bad one. Sometimes, they make it thru the quality control somehow. I would return it until u get the one ur satisfied with.

Yeah I think I should but I'll wait until the weekend and decide if I should change it.
Probably a good idea. The flaws won't change. I have the lightbleed on the 2nd screen, but I never notice unless it's absolutely pitch black where I am and the screen is off. It doesn't annoy me tho.

I like the phone, maybe I love it. I have the same problem with the residual light on the left of second screen. (phone batch 26 Oct.2015) But, what I dislike the most:
1. The lack of a LED on the front.
2. The second screen, about my opinion is useless until then a developer create an xposed apk for a flashing light on second screen when I loose a call.
3. The fingerprint sensor is useless too for me.
4. Volume of the speaker is not too loud.
But, I like the size and the shape of the phone. It is a catch eyes everywhere I go. Benchmarks are very good for a Snapdragon 808. The screen is very fluid. And the most, the camera and his software are great; you believe or not I compared in photoshop pictures from an expensive Sony semiprofessional DSLR camera with photos made with my V10 and the overall quality are quite the same. It's the best phone I ever had (and I had a lot of top level androids)
I don't want to change it, even on a G5!
H961 dual SIM, rooted, debloated.
The light bleed is a common issue, but everything else sounds like your phone was assembled incorrectly, you should exchange it
Okay so today I was wondering if I could find any more nit picky problems and noticed that the back cover did not sit flush with the buttons and that if I pushed it down it became flushnot a big issue but it bugs me when I'm turning up the volume or turning on the phone

Well I exchanged a week ago and now that the time limit to return it is over, it cracked, not from a drop. It just cracked by itself there is a small hair line crack right by the metal rail and if is so annoying I paid good money and I take care of my phones well even if this was made to be tough. It cracked while I was in the car waiting for someone and then out of no where I heard a little pop and I thought nothing about it but after I finished watching the video I noticed it and got so scared I was like"did I drop it" but I did not idk how it managed to break I haven't dropped my phone yet and it just cracked out of nowhere
