I preorderd my evo lte through Sam's club for $150. Has anyone received their phone yet? I'm getting anxious! I got an email last week saying that it would only be in the warehouse for 1 hour before they would ship it out to me. Haven't heard anything since.

I work there. From my knowledge none of the stores in my area (Houston) have gotten them in. We even got a memo saying to expect delays because of the customs incident and that the possible launch date would be Wednesday May 30th. Also said phones would probably ship this week.

The Stores in the Charlotte area haven't gotten any either.. and probably want for awhile.. Sams Club seems to get the latest and greatest on the site months before the store ever sees it.. ( I've been with sams for over 10 years )

Yea, I was considering doing the same thing. But Im really torn between the 2. Evo lte or galaxy nexus. I was initially waiting on the g-nex, but after realizing there is no sd slot (which I dont think I can coupe with) and a lower res cam (why on earth would they do that) plus the addition to the evo's cam abilities, slow mo + hdr and to top it off with an 8 mp cam and 2.0 fstop and micro sd, its kinda hard to ignore all of that, not to mention a faster processor (which im sure the gnex will be oc'ed and the evo too) and slightly bigger screen.
PLUS (caps intended) for only $150? Its like I have no other choice but to pick the evo over the gnex (altho I know primarily what Im speaking is entirely off topic) so yea, I will be pre-ordering this week sometime, not knowing how long I will be waiting.
To answer your question though (which I've forgotten by now): N/A
I just ordered one yesterday and it said 2-3 weeks before shipping. I'm not good for a new phone till June 1, so they'll put it through then. And the insurance is only $6.99 a month.
Just checked my order status and it still says approved awaiting inventory. 7:55 pm on Monday.

Mine does too, but you should get Tracking Number email tomorrow . If not then Sams Rep. would have LIED to me ... But i asked and re-asked and mentioned the 2 to 3 week period stated on their website and she still said it'll be at my door steps this Wednesday (Assuming everyone got the free overnight shipment).
Just checked again and it still says waiting on inventory. Has everyone else who pre ordered through sprint and best buy received their phones?

As far as the webpages looking the same, thats just a Portal Tool they use to order phones/services through Service providers, however that's all they have in common, stocking/inventory is still through Sams Club and webpage has nothing to do with that.
Clearly the Sams Rep. had no clue about the phone being held by customs. Getting my hopes ugh curse her!
Anyways so i called Wal-Mart last week (before pre-ordering from Sams) and they tell me that they don't carry Sprint.
I go today to get a few things and i checked out their Electronics section just for the heck of it. SURE ENOUGH I SEE SOMEONE purchasing the Brown Boxed LTE EVO! Boy did i get excited, so when I ask that i wanted one too, they told me that, that was the last one. and they had no clue when they were going to get more in. UGH!
I also slightly fussed about why someone told me that they didn’t carry sprint, they gave me no response, just said “I don’t know why they told you that.” Talk about poor communications to customers.
I also pre-ordered in store through Sam's Club for $149.74. Their orders are handled by cellstores.com which is a service of Simplexity. We are all in the same boat as the Wirefly group. Waiting without any info from Sam's Club, Sprint or Simplexity.
Although they did tell me in store last Thurs (5/24) that it would ship Friday (5/25) and I would have it Tuesday (5/29) because of the holiday. Didn't believe her then and I absolutely do not believe her now.
I sent a pretty nasty email to Sam's and they offered me a Bluetooth headset. I really don't want a cheap headset I want to know when will I get my phone! I guess in the future I will use BB or Sprint.

The EVO 4G was $450 from Sprint if you weren't eligible for an upgrade on launch day...Best Buy was trying to get people to pay $560 for that *****! I paid the $450 from Sprint online the morning of June 4th and had it in my hands by the 6th. I can only assume that the 3D will be along the same price range...maybe slightly higher...I am completely guessing though

I just got back from Sprint store. They are officially taking pre-orders now and I was their first one! Had to buy a 50 gift card but I expected that. The Sprint rep seemed really certain that Sprint would NOT be extending the instant rebate past the 23rd which would screw all the E3d people. He said and I quote " Sprint will NOT do it...won't do it." He said the staff had just had a meeting about it a few days prior and the MIR/IR rebate issue came up. He was not happy about it because, well, obviously that would chase all the people to Best Buy and Radio Shack both of whom at the moment seem to be offering better deals. Who knows, Sprint may cave at the last minute. I'm cool either way. I already have a preorder at Best Buy so whoever offers me the best deal gets to close the deal. Sprint would have to be total idiots to can the instant rebate the day before a flagship phone launches. Hopefully the rep just has outdated info that may not have been released to them yet....we all know how they are the last ones to find out anything which is actually pretty sad.
I just got a call from radio shack confirming that I was still on for the 24th. So this means that they must be getting in their shipments. I was told that I could come in at 8am on friday to pick up. They usually open at 9am so they must be doing pre-orders before they open. not sure on that. But anyway.
on a side note:
I went to my local sprint store today and the CS there had a evo 3d to play with. I am very excited for this phones arrival. I think the the camera quality is good. Its not any worse than the evo 4g, I have to wait til fri to go in depth with it but I feel 100% positive about using my upgrade for this phone. Also when in portrait the parallax barrier has no effect on the screen, being, I could not detect it even being there. In landscape I had the same result.

I went to my local radio shack yesterday. The manager just happens to be my friend because I rooted his and his wife's phones. But anyways he showed me the phone and I was able to look at one and hold it. Unfortunately they sku isn't in there system yet so he couldn't sell it to me yet but he will contact me as soon as he can if it's before Friday. Ill keep you radioshakers posted as soon as I know. But they are definitely there already.

Hell yeah, I unfortunately have to work also, but not till 3pm. Then I have sat sun off to play with the beast! It will be hard not to get yelled at for playing with my phone to much on friday. The only reason ill get yelled at will be because they are jealous Iphone sheep, that dont like other ppls phone to be better.

The guy who called me told me he contacted Sprint for me and got my upgrade pushed forward (originally not till Sep. 1st), so I get my 3D for 100$ after turning in my old Evo. I was looking to spend around $500. Bonus!
Radioshack (or at least this employee) just made my experience with them sweeter than I could imagine. Definitely tipping this dude $40 +.

Hmmmm, thanks for the info! Sprint told me $100, then they told me they weren't accepting any old Evos. I don't know if anyone working there knows whats going on, so I swayed away from them. And, I already bought a no refundable gift card from RadioShack, so I might as well use it I guess.

yeah, I sold my OG evo already but I have my gingerbread hero to fall back on!

Just checked it this way and it says backordered Going through Premier it just says processing.
Got mine today. Ordered 10 minutes before they stated the sale would "officially" start. Selected next day shipping

Called "Premier" service. After the initial "we don't know", I asked a few other questions and got "I do apologize" about eight times. I started to ask about unlimited texting and requirements for discounts, etc., the lady just couldn't change gears away from the order. The thing that really baffles me is that the store next door to my office has a Titan. I can't just show them my order number and pick it up.
Whatever. It was a $.01. Just disappointed to not even have an eta. I want to sell the wife's iPhone, blow out my focus and set it up for her. I'm going to be busy this weekend, so even if I get the phone, I may have to wait another few days.
Ordered as an upgrade on 11/26. Shipped on 11/28.

Was playing Battlefield 3 Friday night and almost forgot about the sale. So at 2am I got on Premier and ordered a second line for a penney on a 1 year contract I am in Plano, TX area and phone is coming from Ft Worth. They should have sent it today but it was free two business days so will be tomorrow.
Will give Focus to friend and put my old Razr on the new number so I can remove the data plan. So basically 10 a month for one year. Nice they even credited the penny.

So I ordered over the phone around 8am MT on Saturday, and received my "shipped" notification late Monday. Guess I got in before the backorders started!
I'll say this, though: the USPS tracking doesn't update NEARLY fast enough.
UPDATE: OUT. FOR. DELIVERY. Concentrating on work this afternoon is going to be tough!
I ordered mine over the phone Saturday and got it today. Expected date was tomorrow, but it got here a day early... And it is huge compared to my Radar and even my HD7. It's big next to my RAZR, too... I love it. Can't wait to get some custom ROMs to add more colors to the themes!
Just called, went through hoops to find out the status. The rep said my two orders are on backorder. That sucks. She doesn't have any idea when they will get more.

Not sure if this has been posted, or even if I can post something like this, but I am upgrade eligible and really wanted a EVO LTE because I liked how the white version looked and the SVDO is also really appealing. I was searching forever for a deal, and really didn't want to even pay $50 the other week at Best Buy and I missed the day where BestBuy.com was selling for free. I came across an old SlickDeals post -

I paid the $10 4g fee since the og evo. Never got 4g on two lines, so I complained and got a two line contract reset and 200 credit and an evo lte and galaxy s3 free. Try this over the phone with tech help after the third call and remember what you say. Sprint made my day, and it's wonderful having 4g all over chicago (not there yet officially) even in a warehouse basement from the 1910's. 5gb each day and never roaming or throttled, unlimited is the best. But i must say the evo lte is a way better phone, but the samsung has way better reception. Bye HTC loved my last 6 years with you, but back to samsung because i get signal. :crying:
if only I waited a bit longer. oh well. looks like i'll be getting my brothers two evos for their christmas gifts

Got mine my wife one for Christmas last week through bestbuy.com ...it was a 24-hour free Evo LTE with contract extension...since I got my evo in July I jumped all over it...gotta keep an eye out for all those deals.
Anyone received there's yet that was ordered this way? Curious. Actually JUST came back from the store after buying one to replace my broken one ($99 upgrade was cheaper than the $150 Asurion deductible), havent activated it yet but need to tonight, wonder if I could return it when this 99-cent one arrives.
Mine was delivered within 48 hours of ordering, but I was also within 30 mins of a UPS warehouse.

Well, despite having already done the upgrade at the store, activating and extending my contract I still placed an order for this that evening and it came today. Returned the Evo I just paid $150 for to the store, activated the one I paid 99 cents for when I got home without any problems. Of course, returning the one I bought in-store also undoes the contract extension associated with it, we'll see at what point the 99 cent one reinstates the extension. Definitely glad I saw this thread though, definitely saved me money!

I ordered from bestbuy. Just got the watch which most likely will sell. I called att retention and threatened to go to Tmobile. They gave me a 100 dollar credit. Upgraded my 15gig family plan to 20 gig with no price increase. And added 100 dollars off for each phone i bought in the near future. I plan to get my son a phone in the next couple of months and my wife iPhone in September.

Ordered mine on the 5th (Black Onyx) and was notified of a problem with my order yesterday. Contacted them and fixed the issue and now it's showing this... My account ordered through the Premier website btw. Not sure if that makes a difference, but I suspect it does.

Its looking like a lot of people are pre ordering the black onyx version maybe that could be the reason for the backorder status.
Ordered on 8/3. Silver Note 7. So far order still says preparing to ship with 8/17 , 8/18 expected ship date.

When I spoke to the Premier Business support rep yesterday he didn't say it was on backorder and that I will be getting it this week.

Ordered from best buy, too (black onyx). Got my watch, and really like it. Already learned how to design my own watch faces. Keep an eye out for an at&t promo that i got about 1 1/2 years ago. It is 30GB for the price of 15GB. It's bound to show up again. Probably around Christmas.
i ordered on samsung.com .. i called and got the most depress customer service agent ever from the sound of his voice.
i was told it would ship on the 19th... owell..
I talked to an AT&T rep today and he assured me that my order has been processed and will be shipped either 8/16 or 8/17. He verified that my order was not on back order either. He did say that if there is a problem they will hold one for me at my local store on launch day since my order was guaranteed. I'm also a premier business customer, maybe that's why I was promised one either way.

I just spoke with a Premier biz rep and she confirmed my order is shipping today and that I'll have a email by the end of the day. She said everyone that calls the order status line is getting a back ordered msg by default. If in doubt just ring up support and speak to an agent.

I also can confirm that my preorder of Black Onyx from 8/3 has finally changed to shipped on the order status page within the last half hour. FedEx overnight TX to STL MO delivery by 8pm on 8-18-16.
Placed my order in store on Aug. 8. Finally shows shipped via UPS as of an hour ago. Arrival on Friday.

I can verify that as well. Online it showed "preparing to ship", but when I checked using *6737# it said "backordered". Just received my shipping info about an hour ago for a delivery on Friday through UPS.
Is Bestbuy getting any love??
