What are your Quadrant scores? - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

Post your Quadrant scores. I got my stock EVO LTE as high as 5,278. What's yours?

I got my stock EVO as high as 5,278 too

Just did this one but I've gotten over 5200 in the past.
Sent from my EVO LTE!!

I mostly get around 5100, but this was my best.

I use Antutu for bench mark... I like that it gives sd read and write speeds
Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

It took running quadrant about 6 times but I finally got it above 5200 typically I get about 5000
Sent from my EVO using XDA

it might be just me but it looks like our scores are mostly memory and io Our CPU seems worse than the one x, any idea why?
Sent from my EVO using XDA

Here's my AnTuTu screenshot. I got a score of 6891.

Hey, I only got 4867. What gives?

I wouldn't worry about it. I was able to get in the 7000s with my evo 3d and my Rezound with oc kernels and that is with the s3. Antutu can be a little buggy

I'm using viperROM. Got 5782 on Quadrant. CPU scores higher with viperROM, very close to the HTC One X.

Stock
from my LTEvo that will not have 4G coverage utill after I buy my next phone ......

I ran my fully stock phone once and got a 4800 flat. I was BLOWN away at the difference in graphics compared to my OG EVO.

Not to shabby?
Sent from my ADR6350 using XDA

People put way too much merit into benchmarks. Does your phone run smoothly and allow you to multi task everything you need to? If so, I think your phone is passing the human benchmark.
Sent from my Evo 4G LTE using Tapatalk

These benchmarks don't mean anything. The true benchmarks that matter are the ones the TRULY test the hardware.
Brought To You By TapTalk 2 Via LTevo

Yeah I didn't get a good score in cm9 I guess thats the one more accurate and sense 4.0 blows them up.
Sent from my HTC EVO 4G LTE

However in CM9 all the games run perfectly. GTA3 runs way better in cm9 and temple run is very very smooth.

Quadrant may be good for bragging rights but it does little in terms of actual benchmarking....

I'm more interested in undervolting, and other tweaks, in order to keep performance at same clock speed.
However, once in Webtop mode, I'll take any overclocking and nitro my phone can withstand for relatively longer, continuous sessions.
Before we bust a nut, is it confirmed the package includes kernel source ?

I would not to much faith on benchmarks. Sure their cool to see. But in the end, through user interaction, screen scrolls, etc. It's all relative. This phone is a beast, it will still be for another year when it's replaced by the Galaxy S III and it will laugh at the iPhone 5.

Yeah but if you used quadrant pro and saw the score broken down you'd understand that it is just artificially inflated. There are multiple tweaks that boost quadrant benchmarks that do nothing noticeable otherwise.

Coming from EVO 4g

Hello everyone. Loved my EVO 4g but it broke and Asurion sent me a brand new 3d. Feel sad leaving the OG EVO but glad to have a new phone. The phone came with hboot 1.30 and it keeps trying to get me to take an ota update but I decline because I'm not sure about what can and can't be rooted. Gonna root tonight so any advice or ROM suggestions? Any sense 3.5 roms that have working 3d? Thanks
Sent from my PG86100 using xda premium
You got super lucky getting a new one with hboot 1.30. What ever you do, don't take the ota! Use alpharevx's root method and you'll be good to go. Its painless! As far as working 3d on 3.5, I have no clue. Just take a gander in the dev section at the 3.5 roms. Good luck and enjoy the new phone!

I got spoiled on CM7, decks, ect. where i could go 48hrs between charging. Also, watch a entire 2 hour movie & have my battery drop 2%. haha
Battery sucks to me. Im on constant airplane mode and only get about 15hours moderate-heavy usage. Plus theres nothing but Sense Roms right now. I miss my kickstand, the dedicated hdmi port, the number of Kernels and Roms. I do like my screen resolution and dual core overclocking much more.

I miss CM7 and S-OFF. Love the faster processor, additional RAM, and higher resolution.

I just had the pleasure of getting an evo3d also after my evo broke. This phone is a beast. I will miss my evo, but I got an hboot 1.30 And rooted right away. I feel intimidated by some of the settings on some of the Roms but that never stopped me b4, lol
Theres not a phone made that can watch a 2 hour movie on 2% drop. I wish people would stop with the tall tales. Ii would consider 15 hours heavy/mod use very good. I think evo owners are just spoiled.
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
Every evo has sucked the balls on battery life.....2% percent drop after a two hour movie? he should be banned for spreading that nonsense...I see no difference in battery life between my og evo and this..both are below average..I had an iPhone for a week and that wasn't good either...if you browse the Web on your phone, you are screwed

Viper Rom
I'd highly suggest trying out Viper Rom for HTC EVO 3D. I've been this since RC 1.2 and they just released Redline V2. Pretty sweet. Pretty good battery life, custom kernels will let you overclock/underclock as well as undervolt on this rom. The devs are super responsive and put alot of hard work into this rom. Check it out! (There are a ton of features in the latest builds, but it's best to check out yourself to see which features interest you most)

And if I remember right, that ROM is cooked to give you higher benchmark scores, but that does not translate into real world speed. Honestly, benchmark scores are relatively useless as I've had ROMs with mediocre scores feel a lot zippier than ones with high scores.
Yeah u are correct and lot of people have a wrong idea about benchmarks ! Like they compare a galaxy s2 i9100 with custom rom that got 4700 to a one x that scored 4700 but they dont realise that the one x is running a 720p display 1280x720 and the s2 800x480 so the one x has way more pixels to push ! Yeah I know but that ROM was much smoother on my EVO.
I don't depend on benchmarks as the screen resolution differs from phone to phone but there are "OFF SCREEN" gpu benchmarking apps too that does not depend on screen res.
And adreno 220 scores much better in normal gpu benchmark apps also like nenamark, scores a few fps better than Mali 400 though we have higher res!
I posted the above post just to show OP that much higher scores are possible as he himself posted his quad scores comparing to devices with higher resolution.

your phone may not like overclocking with that kernel. Mine refuses to boot normally with it and has to be ramped up to overclock.
