Hi all!
I saw that many phones have dropdown menu for messages, requests and for notifications... On my X10 Mini Pro I haven't got dropdown menu... I want to ask: How can I have dropdown menu in Facebook app?! Because in Mini Pro's browser I have menu like that on facebook's homepage..

Someone know how to get sync contacts from facebook in cm9 3.0.2 ? can't found any option in fb app alsow contacts option ... can't add fb account to sync menu :/

When you log in to facebook in the app, it asks you to sync facebook contacts to the phone's contacts..
or
If it doesn't show up.. just tap (in facebook app) the menu hard button and go into settings menu -> scroll down to the bottom -> and there it is "Sync Contacts"
yeah! I know, I did it before but on that version cm9 just can't finde it :/ With first open fb there was no sync option

Well.. I don't know.. I'm using minicm9 too. So I'll try to sync and tell you if I'll find something.

It has to do with screen resolution, om my wife's x8 it shows the drop down menu, on my u20i it doesn't.

Yeah, it has to be the screen size or the resolution... I think I can't fix it on my own.. I have to buy a new model or accept that I haven't drop down menu or if I do something in the facebook apk file?

It looks great using it for a while now, but the two bigger images are on low quality
They're determined by the quality of your contact image... if you've pulled down a facebook thumbnail image then it will be..
I tried login with my Facebook account but it was not able to login, I have no problem to login with my Google account.
Anyone knows why?

I installed the widget. But when i long press and go to android widgets, it does not show up as an option.
Im using SPB mobile shell 3d by the way. Dunno why it doesnt show..

I don't know it worked for me, if i go to sync i see the sync potion of android.

Did you try it with SE Home?
the idea is great but the app is evil, gives med 2x entries of every number of the contacts that appear in the life.contact widget, extremly anoying.

Don't have this all contact shows one time :S
What i noticed is that it makes the launcher slow, it lags when sliding the screens, removing the widget helps.
THe widget fills only half the screen. Wondering if its possible for it to take up the whole screen, all with my fav contacts or recently dialed etc. they should have these options.
The widget wont show images on my Xperia Arc... Any ideas what it could be?
I have synced it to facebook, but still without any luck

Check seetings in IMAGE /FILter,

Just tried that, and without any luck.
Last time I used it only one of my friends had a image on there, the rest were blank...
Today I uninstalled the app and re-installed it, and now no one has a image. Can it be that my contacts have a facebook profile picture?

I did not faced any such problems with facebook contact images,,,,,,

Try to clear the data/cache of the life contacts widget

Anyone tried change contact name after contact was created in life contact? Life contact would not update the name but it is able link to the renamed contact. I tried reinstall, clear data, clear cache it is still using old name. Any solution?

First you need to put specific contacts into your group...then in the sms screen you select the plus button on the right and on the upper screen choose "groups" and select your group .

Seems like the stock sms app dosent have that option. Go sms does have that feature

just tap the new message button and tap + button on the right side, it will show you the group tab to select from

I can't seem to find any app that allows me to go directly from lock screen to different applications, like ics, so instead of just unlocking the phone, I could open messages or go to camera app directly-

goto cm settings--> lockscreen--> custom app starter (find it its there somewhere not remembered as on MiniCm9 noe )
Try widget locker It's perfectly for this

Click on the contact then press the option button of ur phone u will see a lot of options with "edit"

I know this but when i press on edit option i see nothing editable it says "Not editable from this app"
Okay so delete all contacts then try syncing with a file browser..i mean the vcf

There is no option to delete all contacts together
Sitting - app - select contacts then clear data
But it will not solve ur issue here

The newest version of Gmail is supposed to have the ability to delete and archive an email right from the notification (on jelly bean). I updated and don't see this ability. I don't see how this is an option. Has anyone else experienced this? What's the deal?

This is really bothering me. Don't know what is going on.
It only works if you receive one email at a time from my experience. For example if you have it on auto sync an a new email is received. It won't work if you manually sync and 10 emails pop up. Again this is what I'm experiencing.

Try doing a reverse 'pinch-to-zoom' on a message in your notification tray. It should zoom out and give you the options to archive or reply.
I see the "Archive" and "Reply" options, but where's "Delete"?
Just select the messages you want to delete and the option will show up in icon bar

From the Gmail app, go to Settings>General Settings>Swiping Conversation List>Always Delete and I think the option in your notifications will allow you to delete.

Thanks! I saw that option but for some reason thought it was only for the conversation list within the app, not the drop-down menu. Just gave it a shot and it worked!
