This is my first attempt to make a Raphael Rom.
Raphael is a very fast ppc with plenty of Ram & Storage, stock
rom is very fast, so cooking roms is only for experimental purposes and flashing Junkies ..
These Roms are beta releases and flashing/testing procedures are for experienced users only !
Use Hard SPL before flashing this rom.
CEOS 20755, 20753 and the latest oem .
My roms works into full kernel mode
There is no need to remove uldr partition (Plenty of Storage)
Always make a hard Reset after flashing a new rom.

Hi swtos, i guess that your light version is more like a naked one with nothing in there!
I would suggest a light with the programs that i mentioned above removed. Can you do something like that? I mean manila, opera (latest version), messenger, AudioManager, Office, Java should stay in!
I don't want to push for anything... take that as an advice!

What does that mean: running in full kernel mode? is that better? Does that also means that other cookers's rom doesn't run in full kernel mode?
There is no setup for t-mobile UK in the connection manager under the lite version. There is a setting for BT-mobile though, which doesn't actually exist in the UK. Selecting this does not create the necessary settings for network connection to t-mobile uk.

Can you pls help ref. a touch problem ? I installed the big ROM and I`m using one reading software where I should change the sides through stroking over the pad. One time it worked and now it is not working anymore. Where do I need to search in order to change it again ?

I've just tried you lite rom - its great cos i can tailor it to exactly how i like it. I have one issue, though. I can't play videos through the Photos and Videos tab of TF3D. Neither videos on the device or on the storage card play. When I click the video, the screen just goes black until I press the back hardware key. Any ideas?

Go to settings > Device Information > Hardware
Check out "RAM Size" & "Flash Size"
3.2) IMEI:
To get your IMEI just dial " *#06# " And 17-digits should appear, The first 15 are your IMEI

5. Unbricking
5.1) Gold Card
Since there is no wikipage about this, I'll quickly discribe how you can do this
1] Requirements:
- A working WM Device (used to obtain the microSD card's ID)
- The shipped stock rom your phone came with (Shipped Roms for HTC Touch Diamond 2)
- Qmat (Latest version of Qmat)
2] Format your SD card into FAT32:
- go into dos and type:
format <volume> /FS:FAT32 /A:4096
3] Run Qmat to create a gold card:
- Put the formatted microSD card in the working WM device and connect via ActiveSync
- Run Qmat, Go to Hardware Forensics and select 'Generate HTC Goldcard'
- Select your bricked device's key
- Get the SD Card Serial from WINCE Device
- Save the Goldcard image to the SD Card
Now you have a SuperCID which allows you to flash any shipped ROM
4] Go into the bootloader with inserted goldcard and run the .exe from the Shipped rom
5.2) If all else fails, you can PM Cmonex she will make one for you
But perhaps, It's better if you first try yourself?
6. Dumping a ROM
This is basicly a backup of your ROM, Note that this does not backup any personal information on the phone
6.1) Dump Rom
7. CID Unlock your phone
This will allow you to flash ANY ROM with a different CID on your phone (e.g. Custom ROM)
7.1) HARDSPL, CID Unlock with overwrite protection
In this topic you also see how to remove the CID lock (if you want to send the phone back...)
Before you take any further steps, Please confirm that your device now has a HARDSPL, by going into the bootloader,
Then check the SPL it should say "1.33.OliNex"
7.2) Security Unlock
This is a security unlock tool that will remove the CID & SIM lock on your device

Ah right. I wasn't sure, and thought there would be a lower risk of damaging devices if it wasn't there...
The newer unlocks (Diamond, Raphael etc) all flash a new radio to the device, which if using the wrong device/radio could break things.

I have a permanent problem with all 6.5 versions and it's really weird.All 6.5 roms work very well when memory card is not inserted...but when I turn my Topaz off and insert the memory card. Albums/Camera/Music Player/File explorer and all concerning memory card freeze when I use them.
That is, when I try to launch Album for pictures on memory card, it freezes...same with Camera.....
I changed memory card, formatted with FAT32...but all in vain
I have no such problem with 6.1 roms
Any comments?

yeh, that free RAM figure looks about 80-90MB too high. can anyone confirm?

and korean doesn't work. i only see square boxes. could you please fix it? Japanese and Chinese work well. But those are my second optional language and I usually speak English and Korean... Thanks!

By this time, you are probably aware that my picture manipulation skills are less than par, but if you take a quick look at the image on this article, right below the MAC address, I placed a small refresh icon. Weird as it may seem, I do have a valid reason for having done this to a network adapter. However, I am getting a bit ahead of myself, so let me take a quick step back. A few days ago, HTC and Microsoft started pushing out build 7740 to their WP7 line of devices (Schubert, Mozart, etc) in order to bring their builds up directly to Mango, which happens to be a really good improvement from the NoDo release. Well, as most releases from Microsoft, this one is not without its bugs. Shortly after the update a few users started noticing something weird regarding their internet connectivity via Wifi. A lot of these people use a security measurement for their wifi networks that is called MAC filtering, which basically will not let any computer/wireless device with a MAC different from the ones registered to access the network or the internet. As it turns out, the update has a bug in the ICS (no, not Ice Cream Sandwich, but Internet Connection Sharing) feature that essentially resets the MAC address of the device after the device gets rebooted.
There are several confirmed cases of this being a bug and it seems that while not an excruciatingly bad issue, it is something that HTC may want to look into as it affects most of (if not all) of the most recent updates being released/pushed. Again, if you don’t use WiFi connections an awful lot, then you likely have nothing to worry about, but this can be an annoyance for people who need to register their devices with a network administrator prior to being able to surf the web.
If you are experiencing this issue as well, please make a post in the proper thread (link before) and we will try to put HTC on alert so that they can take the proper actions on this to get it fixed.
Just updated my HD7 to the update with internet sharing. After this, I can confirm that every time I reboot my phone, I get a new mac address.

He said he flashed this on a RSPL machine: RSPL is Reloaded SPL but my understanding is it can only be loaded to RAM which when reset returns to OSPL. It's said if you rarely flash this will work. Over on the Radiant thread there's a guy who has a ROM in 4 parts over there, build 8112 the thread said but if he's "transplanted" 8858 guts into 8112; is that possible?
Do we have already a hspl to flash this room ???????
