I been searching all over the web for a decent LCARS PADD skin for android
well got tired of looking decided to go ahead and make one for myself

Wow, impressive. Could you do one that's in color next? Part of the appeal imo of the LCARS was the colors. Maybe do a TMP-era (blue/green) and TNG (purple/orange) versions?

Im thinking of doing a Red Alert Version next but im open to ideas tng version will most likely be released after the red alert version this was my first attempt and i wanted to make sure i could design a function template

Maybe something based off the Stargate Atlantis computer system would be cool ..
Just sticking with the scifi motif , if it was me personally , I would do a Cylon interface, Eureka and Warehouse 13 as well As SG:A ...
I'll look into that I'm all for the scifi based computer interfaces they were so creative and artistic now I plan on making then actually functional

I got a quick question as there's no manual for some of feature.
I wonder about the top screen (the map screen). Could you please explain a bit more about the map feature ?
It is just static map (not GPS), or does it show where you are currently in or what?
Currently it shows California. While it is my fave state, I am in UK which is like 5,000 miles east of California. hence my wondering about that map part.
Please let me know if it is just a static map or should be "live map" (/show where you are currently in)?

the map is just static not much to explain until there is a way to implement a gps fix i used it as a place holder

I saw @teamsilence23 posted a tweet about needing a boot animation for the Glacier's first custom rom. So i thought what the hell and tried it out. I dont know much about editing pictures with any sort of smoothness, but i hope that this can be a learning experience hah not entirely sure about editing the desc.txt for speed and such, so i left it alone.
I am planning on doing more to this boot animation, and am more than happy to take requests, ideas, instructions. So please help me learn!
Zip file should be placed in
/system/customize/resource/
So whether you do it by ADB, root explorer, etc. is up to you.
I am leaving this on the short side since I need to get to sleep, but if there is anything wrong with this post or it's contents, I am more than happy to change it with as much enthusiasm as possible

There are all kinds of boot animations available form a thread elsewhere in this forum (using one),
What would be nice would be a few splash screens in a format that could(?) be installed with MetaMorth specifically for the MT4G (not Evo), or hopefully without the very convoluted guide in another thread (just not worth all that for a splash screen).
Really hate that white TMo stock splash.
A metamorph version would be really nice and simple. I'll look into it! Thanks for the input!

Hey guys, spent a ton of time on this!!! I hope you like it and please hit Thanks if you do!!! It is not a CWM file, I use Absolute System Tools (boot animation goes in goodies folder) to install it but i'm sure there are other ways if you know your way around the rom you are using. I'll give you a few snippets but it's worthwhile checking it out for yourself.... Enjoy and don't forget Thanks!

0:33 to 0:48 would be pretty much perfect. It could stay on Mileena wins at the end, or just repeat. Not sure how the whole thing works.
I think it would make a pretty cool edit for an Android/Apple thing like the one you originally posted as well. Nothing cooler than an Android ripping off Apple's torso

0:15 to 0:30 would be pretty epic with the apple being eaten.
No rush on getting anything done for me though. The fact that you will even consider it is awesome and much appreciated.
EDIT: If you meant the end, the Android + Google = Fatality bit is still great. I like it. If you would like to reuse that with Mileena on the end instead of Cage, that would be awesome. Or get creative, it's your work and I will be more than happy with anything you might put out for me

Pretty much any of the parts involving the combat between the Jedi and the Sith. The part where he grabs the second lightsaber and starts kicking ass is cool (would require editing because it cuts to the girl/smuggler), as well as the part where darth malgus leaps through the fire and kills the jedi.

Wow!
Runs fine, Its a little pixelated (looks like 360p running fullscreen).
The part in specific was from around 3:25 to 4:25, minus the parts when it cuts to ship (just the battle).
If thats too much work - the current one is nice as well, just the quality could be a bit better.

Hey, i have been playing around with 3dsmax(3d making program) and vray(render program witch uses real light. I have made a bootanimation for krabappel2548
i have playing with it like 4 days.View My Video(of courese is tottaly high quality and i have even rendered it for 2012 xperia line(720p)
So i can make custom animations like this one. Devs you say what you want. I can only replice KA ROM with text whatever youwant or i can do a completly different scene. But i dont know if i can continiue making that free if there are lots of people. So lets see if there is any interestat all.

Let me express a personal opinion, I'm not a developer, and I'm not aiming to be one.
At any rate, in my point of view, if we do not have a boot screen at all, the boot speed will increase. The simple the boot screen, the faster our ray will be up .
I'm not discouraging you, nor trying to offend in any way, as I already expressed, your demo boot screen is fantastic.
With your talent, I think you will find a way to create more interesting things, which a user will enjoy with a ray already booted up

Hey mate, the boot animation can be looped forever but that doesnt affect boot speed. My ray boots for20-30 secs with ctock animation and the same goes on to mine

hey bro, i'm really proud to be the first interested customer of your boot animation. please make for me with text "HAFIDZ" replacing "KAROM"
one suggestion, could you make this "KAROM" text broken into particles (like at the beginning) so this boot animation can be a beautiful loop. so simpley the loop is particles-unite-xperia-karom-broken-particles.

wait, i change my mind about my previous suggestion. if you have time, could you please edit this boot animation for me to be like this:
after KAROM rotates, then it gets blurred then the dot comes and blinks. sorry to say but i dont really like this dot because it has no strategic position (not symetric maybe). so i think it would be better if there is no blinking dot and just make the KAROM blurred then clear again (and blurred again and clear etc).
