Games console? - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

I plugged in a game pad ( Xbox clone thing) into the phone.. Some games works, in a fashion some did not. Is there any way of telling what games will be controled by the game pad, or is it just luck and magic??

Well, most of the android (.apk) native games will not work (at least 100%).
What I can tell for sure is that almost all emulators will work with the joypad. I have tried some emulators with my Logitech and, after setting up hardware keys, they were playable...

There are a few games all listed with USB pad supported. Shadow gun, GTA, PlayStation Suit games, riptide, Cordy, sleepy jack, gunman Clive, tiki kart, shine runner, inertia, sonic cd, sonic ep1, reckless racing 1-2, all emulators. Is the list so far for fully support games.
When ics comes we will be able to play games like shadowgun, GTA with fully pad support including analog because google has added a virtual gamepad along side keyboard and mouse which they did not add till honey comb 3.1 and above.
On gingerbread we will only have keyboard mapping for digital button presses
Some xperia play games will work if get a button remapping app like gamekeyboard to change the default A, B, X, Y to d-pad center, back, button X and button Y. But onscreen controls maybe visible.
Hope this helps for info

Hi XDA
Do you have information which apps are created for Honeycomb tabs?
I have here:
CNN
PULSE
TouchUp Lite
The Weather Channel
Bubble Live wallpaper
Donkey Jump
If you have some, can you post them here so we all can use and see ?
OR, is there a way to see in the Marketplace that it is made for the new tabs (honeycomb)?
Thanks!

I would if it didn't cost $5
What I've been using
Feedly - Reader works great. Better than Pulse in my opinion
Asus My Water Live and Weather Widgit. - Works Perfectly with the Wallpaper background working with tilt and displaying the water level going down with the battery level.
any game with THD in it - Tegra HD

Everything is smoother on ICS except Pinball Arcade

Pinball Arcade is just about the only game I play because I never got used to virtual buttons. Everything else -- videos, transitions, browser -- run better. But this game is silky smooth on Gingerbread but on ICS it feels like the framerate is halved. So far I've tried Multi-DPI and Seraphim. Any tips?

make any game playable with hardware keys

well i've been testing the ''game keyboard 2.0'' on my x10 mini just to see if it can run games like nova with hardware keys (due to the fact that is a lil uncomfortable playin with fake-multitouch and can't move and shooot at the same time and stuffs) and it works! following the video i found in here xda, i've been playing sandstorm and it response well...
so lets make the best confg. keys to the x10mini!
any link to original please?

Markphytons UnOfficial ICS Test Release 4.0.4 Official Gaming Thread [BUG REPORTING]

Markphytons UnOfficial ICS Test Release 4.0.4 Official Gaming Thread
Hey All,
I have PM'd Markphyton and he has given me the 'go-ahead' to create this thread
THIS THREAD IS STRICTLY FOR GAMING ON Markphytons UnOfficial ICS Test Release Xperia Play 4.0.4
Please post all other bugs (not game related) in Mark's original thread (Link above)
I take no credit at all, for any of the work Markphyton has done, all thanks/donations go to him!
Basically, as we all know, gaming on ICS is pants.
However! Markphyton, with his genius mind, has created a ROM based on 4.0.4 that is EPIC for gaming!
His latest update (coming soon with a new name) should hopefully fix all gaming issues. Even so, this thread is a place for users to report their gaming experiences while using this ROM (good or bad). Here's how I think people should post:
(feel free to use your own methods, but please try to keep it tidy )
At the top of the post: Your system configuration (I.e. Which Kernel? Overclocked? Link2sd? Swapper? zRam? etc.)
Then for the games, in a list like this:
(Game Name) - Make it BOLD so that its easy to see which game you are talking about
(Verdict) I.e Is it playable?
(then underneath each game give a brief description)
---I.e How good is the performance? (lag, buttons not working/sounds/glitches/graphics artifacts, whatever you find)
(Rating out of 10) - Speed/framerate whatever you want to call it
(Example)
EDIT (forgot to post system config):
LuPuSv8
1.8Ghz DARKSIDE
32GB SD card class 10
Link2sd (2gb partition)
Swapper2 (1gb partition)
