Custom ROMs for locked bootloader/stock kernel - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

Hi!
I would like to ask whether there are some really nice custom ROMs for locked bootloader / stock kernel. (Yes, I really don't want to void my warranty.) If anyone knows one, please share a link here. Thanks!

If you really want a custom rom without unlocking bootloader and for stock kernel :
Ask SONY to make one for you because ONLY SONY/official firmware can be install for locked bootloader or firmware that are sign by SONY (mean custom firmware that SONY certificate only)
If you really want custom rom badly, why don't sacrifice your warranty for something that you like?

Custom ROM removes your warranty also.

You could try THIS one... it's a mod, not a custom ROM. This is the best you can get without unlocking the bootloader.

[Q] Important Questions on Flashing Custom Roms on Xperia Phones

Hi , I want to ask some question about flashing custom roms like cyanogen mod on xperia phones
Currently i have Xperia ray with unrooted gingerbread 2.3.4 , 4.0.A.2.0.42 firmware
I want to flash cyanogenmod 7 and my questions are --->
[1.] How can i unlock boot loaders without messing up DRM ? bcoz i heard after unlocking boo loaders update service and some apps wont work.
[2.] How to re lock boot loader in order to get warranty back ?
[3.] Will i need to root my phone in order to install CM7 because , in cyanogenmod wiki they not mentioned root, but i think i need to root my phone
If yes then can i use "Xperia 2011 Easy Rooting Toolkit" to root my phone running on gingerbread 2.3.4
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1320350
[4.] how to install full functional clockworkmod recovery on xperia ray ?
[5.] While installing cyanogen mod after flashing boot.img , will i able to make backup of my stock rom ?
and how to restore it even i bricked my phone ?
or is it possible to flash ftf firmwares anytime using flashtools, or wotan . is there any official firmware tool for sony phones ?
and how to get official firmware in FTF file format
[6.] When i successfully installed cyanogenmod , will i get all option to install another custom ROM over cyanogenmod (i.e. CWM recovery and rom manager)
No developer replied my questions , after hours of research i found answers
[1]. http://androidflip.com/unlock-xperia-phones-bootloader-without-losing-drm-data-track-id-working/
[2]. re-locking bootloader is not possible this time for xperia ray , sony will solve bootloaders issue very soon , then we will not need to worry about this, although we will lose warranty
[3].no need to root your phone , it is like installing ubuntu on windows without knowing passwords
[4]. fxp made CWM for ray but this time it only works with cm7 and MIUI, there are some experimental kernels with cwm are available but i dont recommend them
[5]. of course you can make complete backup of stock rom
to restore follow this = http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1382088
you can also revert to stock using flashtool , follow this = http://androidflip.com/how-to-install-android-2-3-4-gingerbread-update-on-xperia-ray-st18i/
[6]. definitely you can flash any custom / stock rom over cyanogenmod
maybe u can try my tutorial, but that's language indonesian, u use google translate dude, hehehehehe....

Stock ROM kernel???

Just for those like me. The ones that want to stay on stock Xperia ROM but benefit from custom kernels.
So at this time there is no need or reason to unlock bootloader if you want to use stock Xperia ROM and flash custom kernel, since there are close to or just none for the current stock ROM. For older versions there is one...doom kernel, but seems like that one will most likely stay withot support...
So for stock don't bother

essential rooting questions (xperia phone noob)

ok guys well im on stock 4.4.4 and i just unlocked the bootloader. Anyway to obtain root or flash custom roms? i have read through both general and question sections but cant pinpoint an answer. i see most roms need unlocked bootloader which is fine and i see there is a dual recovery for locked and unlocked bootloaders but would i just need that and flash that without root and i can start flashing roms? sorry if these questions sound idiotic, i can assure you i am no noob doing these things as i came from the htc m8 and this is my first xperia device and flashing and rooting and unlocking bootloader was definitely a new process slightly with this phone. Again i have already unlocked bootloader which took some time but went through thanks
Or you could flash a custom kernel, doomlords for stock or m5 for cm based via adb then flash the rom you want, obviously if you flash the cm kernel a stock rom won't boot but you'll still be able to access recovery to flash a custom rom

Unlockable bootloader + Custom ROM question

Hey all, first of all I'm not new to the Android world. I've had many phones, and all if them modified heavily. I do not consider myself a Dev (I've made some basic scripts that's about all) but definitely a power user.
Anyway, I'm a little lost on this z2 as far as modding it goes. My bootloader is NOT unlockable according to the phone stats, however I have seen a few root methods for 5.1.1 and locked bootloaders (I'm build a.1.232). Now many of these rooting methods ask for you to downgrade to a rootable version, root it, then reflash a prerooted 5.xx ROM. Easy, However with my unlockable bootloader how will I flash anything other than a stock Sony ROM without bricking it?
Essentially what I'm after is how far can I go with a locked bootloader, and if there is s surefire way to root 5.1.1 without downgrading since I can't flash back up. Also am I good to flash a custom recovery? Or is that offlimits as well being locked. I'm a little lost due to lots of mods here apparently working with locked bootloaders, and on my HTC one that just didn't fly.. Lol.
Thank

You meant locked bootloader right?
You won't be able to flash any custom ROMs without unlocking your bootloader.
The only custom ROM that works for locked bootloader is MIUI (which uses the stock Sony kernel)and the phone needs to be downgraded to 4.4.4 and there are some custom ROMs out there which may work on locked bootloaders.
Yes,you will be able to flash custom recovery and use mods that are available on XDA and also xposed works fine on LB
You won't be able to flash custom kernel or custom ROM for LB
Yes downgrade is possible
