As the tittle, how to install Beats Audio Mod to my Xperia mini?
Now my Xperia mini has a locked bootloader(unlock before and relock), stock .62 ROM with some Mod. Before that I install the Beats Audio Mod(v5.1) from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1525226, but then my phone keeping restart and I roll back the backup....

extract zip file ull 2 lib file by using root explore copy both the file n paste it in
system/lib.
give a proper permission n reboot..
( Note:- u can make out the difference in PowerAmp, not in stock music player.)

coz I'm install the file u modified then I saw inside the zip only got one apps call audioeffectservice.apk install to system/app, so I wanna ask abt it's run by default?

some of the apps which has been from HTC so it doesn't support for SE Xperia's so.
its better to copy few LIB file which r supports Beats sound.

Yeah buddy, it runs by default... yhu notice it pops replace message when installing right???
Sony also support AudioEffectService & also i remove tha ones dat re not necessary to prevent errors/bootloop....!

check whether u have this file or not??? /vendor/etc/audio_effects.conf
if u not have push it manually and reboot.. if it cause FC means.. then try..settings->apps then clear data on soundenhancement app .. now it will works well.. cheers.. have fun.. :good::good::good:

hope yhu didnt make any mistake?? its woking fine.... i have attach ICS Sound from Official ICS 4.0.4 from Mini Pro!
Hm,no mistakes.
Just copy/paste and replace files when necessary.
I even tried wiping Dalvik cache AND the cache partition after rebooting.

Look inside the zip. If there a META-INF folder, u can flash it. If no, extract it, then place it manually where it should be....

I've seen quite a few complaints about XSIncredibleBass...I myself found it to make the audio sound bland in my Live with walkman...plus it creates useless apps...
So i wrote a script and created a zip file to remove all that stuff...

What is it?
1) Its a zip that can be flashed via CWM..
What does it do?
1) It removes XSIncredibleBass, All the crap libs that spoils the music quality in SE Live with walkman...
2) It installs a fresh copy of ICS Walkman Player (Album Art Download, SenseMe etc Works!!) with beats audio port...All features working...
3) installs new libs...ergo...Beats libs...xLoud...

ONLY FOR Real ICS users
Real ICS users can uncheck XSIncredibleBass Mod in the Aroma installer screen...:victory:
But that would mean you having to reflash the ROM...
If you dont want your data to be lost...Uncheck the "Clear data" option on the same screen...
Or else if you dont care about the data OR have a backup...
Reflash the ROM via CWM...and on the appropriate screen uncheck the above options...
IF for some reason you cannot lose your data, don't have backup etc....Use the mod in Post #1...
THIS IS AGAIN...ONLY FOR Live With Walkman!

I will upload the files soon...its around 15mb...I just don't want anyone to brick their phones because of my fault so I'm testing it on mine...flashing it on different ROMs...except for CM..it uses apollo...not Walkman...So, this mod is currently not for CM...maybe v2...
In the next 2-3 days...I'll update with the flashable zip for v1...
maybe if i get demand for it....I'll do one with the original walkman player(the old official one)...
so, it removes xincrediblebass and add beatsaudio? i don't like any sound mod, i prefer manual equalizer, so i can find what the best for my earphone

There's nothing much wrong with your english buddy...atleast not for me..i understood what you mean...
Beats Audio is good...the extra stuff...like Dolby Digital, Headset Notify etc..and some audio libraries that spoil the music experience..
So, This script will remove all that...and install a clean copy of the walkman player, sony default libs...and beats audio lib...This port of walkman has album art, sense me etc features...its the first port that works completely(downloading album art and song data works..)..with beats audio from the Xperia Pureness ROM...

Its a permissions problem...I've fixed it... I'll upload the file tomorrow..If you don't wanna download the 18mb again...please reflash ur kernel in Flashtool... It'll solve all the problems...

What i found was the libs are actually almost same like Xperia Z no extra additions in honami bro... However nice efforts bro..

I think that the problem is with audio policy.conf, that's why the phone keeps rebooting.

Also did u delete the whole folder before rebooting? Deleting a folder can cause bootloop

yes but its long.
1st look in adreno booster zip whats inside. tahn check ALL files (from adreno booster zip) if there ALSO in ur ROM?!?!
--> if u find files there ALSO IN ROM, extract them AND puch to ur phone/overwrite.
--> if u find files THERE NOT IN ROM zip, but in adreno-mod.zip delete them in system!!!
if u checked all files ur done :good:

see it positive: maybe this fault will help u remember to ALLWAYS have a backup in case. (or to make one if u flash sth were u dont know the result...)

Yes there is! Its called the adreno booster removal tool. Just flash it and everything should be removed.
