I just wanna say that my flyer is the best device that I ever bought because my flyer is very fluid on gingerbread latest update no lag no freeze very silky smooth (its amazing with old hardware) .. but I sad because the forum and development is not very active.. now I thinking to buy HTC one x which have a good activity development but I'm really hard to decide because the flyer is very functional with higher display and I love it...
Sometime too I'm audiophile person who needs portable handset to used in my pocket as an mp3 player( I don't want to buy ipod)..but HTC Flyer cant in my pocket -.- .. its worth to upgrade to HTC one x?

I nearly bought the HTC One S from T-Mob, and the only thing that stopped me was its use of micro-SIMs. I wanted a phone that I could use for international travel and thought it best to stay away from the non-standard SIMs for now. So I bought a Samsung Galaxy Nexus from Google's Play Store instead (and I'm almost regretting it).

Just be glad you don't have an HTC View 4G (Flyers twin). The Fyler dev section is a lot more active than ours. You guys have a stable of roms to choose from.

I'm Indonesian, and sgs3 @2 June is release in my country but i didn't interest with the promo sgs3 and i prefer to HTC from now even sgs3 better..

1 things that disturb me is battery life... My flyer can life more than 1 day 24-26 hours on fully complete use mode..
But i still love and interest with HTC one x in the future soon

bloody hell thats cheap!! £216!!! do they deliver to the uk? if not how would i get it
The idea with the 3rd deal is to cancel the net and then downgrade the contract 9 months in and, when u include the cashback, u get the phone for around £150.
You then don't use the SIM and stick in a giffgaff or different sim to use. The idea is not to use the contract apart from to get the phone cheap. I've decided to get that deal instead of paying a lot more to get it sim free.

I'm gunna wait, if I get an iPad ill get the evo3d, if I get an android tab ill probably get an iphone but yeah go for the 280 one from expansys, brilliant deal. (I'm only 15 you see, got my desire z only almost a year ago, have to persuade parents)

to be fair the reviewer says the phone is a beast. the only negative aspect to the review is that they do not much care for sense. My Flyer is my first HTC device, although I do not mind sense I wouldas the review suggest, wait to see what development does with this device after it has been out for a couple of months. For me the option to have a sense experience is great as long as the option to have a non sense experience also exist. This is just for me though, I guess I kinda agree with the reviewer
I want that also, but I really don't like the design of the phone. I guess that's what cases are for lol
I didn't get to hold it, buy it is much sexier in person. I didn't notice a difference in finish on the back of the phone in person. The camera is ridiculously fast.

I have the money to buy HTC One X+ and waiting for its launch in India. I was also interested in seeing the launch of LG Nexus 4 but now it is coming up that the google nexus event has been cancelled.
Should I wait for Nexus 4 and decide to buy or buy One X+ as soon as possible ?
For me you should wait nexus 4.It will give you the best of android.No more sense UI or waiting for updates to come.The Specs are great too.The only thing that might be painful is the lack of microSD.Cheers

HTC stated that they have no plans launch HTC J Butterfly in India. They just wants to bring HTC One X+ in India market as fast as possible.
I can wait till my birthday which is on 12 December.
You should definitely wait for the devices to come out before making a purchase. There've been rumors that Nexus will have not expandable 8gigs of ROM which is unacceptable no matter what specs it sports. Also the battery life is more or less mystery right now and from my experience the last Nexus lasted like 1.5 hours of screen time and current HOX is not really a marathon runner either...
Best advice is always wait for the release and see how it stands up in real world use. I'm leaning towards the 1X+ but I'm waiting.

I am not from UK, but like in my country i am convinced that you have shops open on weekends, for example in a big comercial space, mall etc.
As far as i know only O2 has it on stock.
Yes only o2 other carriers have no release date for the device, I love it coming from a HD2 the battery is great and evrything is smooth, the one x suffered from an anoying lag on menu press the + has nothing, overall use is butter smooth and the phone is great sense 4+ is great also only speed has been improved, and the cool red looks good

Quick question and sorry to hijack the thread, but did they fix the multitasking f**k up they had with the original One X? It always reloaded apps such as the browser.

There are some improvements yes, i left a browser closed for 10 minuets and relaunched from multitask and it opened fine, some apps like 02 balance closes and reopens but that is unstable at the best of times

I'm thinking about changing phones I'm on T-Mobile with my amaze no longer under contract. I was looking at what they have to offer and had 4 thoughts. I'm looking for input.
1. Get the iPhone 5 and sell it to make a profit and keep using my amaze
2. Get the HTC one the processor isn't much faster than the amaze and the camera isn't as good and it also lacks SD card slot
3 get the nexus 4 16gb looks pretty nice quad core processor and is aosp but still lacks an SD card slot
4 keep my amaze and wait till it craps out.
What do you guys think? And I checked out the HTC one forums and saw sports on there so I personally ask you sports how's the HTC one

It depends. The one is a good option because it will probably be popular enough to attract development. Plus there's a 64GB option. And the Camera is actually pretty good. And I think it has LTE. Have you considered a GSIV

Just went through this. New HTC one is very fast, don't let mhz ratings fool you. Go use the phones until the sales guy kicks you out.
I tried new htc one. Old htc one, nexus 4 and LG Optimus g cousin, s3 and note 2. All much faster than amaze. All great phones.
In the end because I didn't want to lock into contract, nexus 4 and LG Optimus g were hundreds less than the rest. Went with Optimus for LTE. Arrives this week.
Hoping when s4 is finally on display in my area I don't regret it. Based on reviews like trusted tech heads at arstecnica the new LG Optimus g pro phablet is the benchmark king. Out shortly if you like the size.

Go with the ONE. Hands down, the best phone I've ever had. I got the chance to play around with the s4..wife has the note2. It's a good device but nothing like the one. S4 was choppy and laggy, the other stuff is just rusty bells and whistles. My ONE chews up everything I throw at it...no lag. I watched a few videos on it here and there but today I watched Zero Dark Thirty and was blown away. I'm keeping this [email protected]!

Before picking up any phone I would make sure to check out what bugs people are noticing in the forums. Things like how the amaze capacitor lights bleed etc.
No regrets on not waiting for s4. Tried one out for an hour yesterday. Great phone. Just not hundreds of dollars greater than others I looked at. Happy I went with unlocked lg.

I've been using a HTC One for the past couple days and it's really fast. The front speakers sound clear and pictures are all right. The phone has no grip though so you might want to pick up a case on Amazon. The profiting from an iPhone sounds like too much work for not enough money. The Amaze is still quick for most things so unless you hate it I think you should keep it.
Go with the HTC one. It's great and development is amazing! Battery is also awesome. I get 4hrs screen on time! Sense 5 is also very fast and minimalistic making it an aosp like Rom that just tons of extra features!
I upgraded from my amaze.
You can also use the HTC logo as a Menu button so you won't lose screen realestate from an on screen menu button.

its upto you which one you like, I would personally prefer HTC one, but again there are several pros & cons of each, before buying a HTC just get one thing straight, this company has a bad reputation when it comes to software updates, HTC always stop providing support to their handsets before expected, for eg. HTC one s was recently ditched,many others back in history were treated just same way, ...
one more thing, I was in a mobile store the other day checking several devices, I found neither of S4 or One as attractive as they are presented over internet, there was only handset which caught my eye-HTC butterfly, real piece of beauty, & upcoming Butterfly S looks even more deadly, so I would suggest you to go to store yourself & check them personally rather than buying online...

S4 any day. HTC just sucks. Although the HTC One is very good looking and has a good build quality, I'd say the S4 if you plan on using the phone for more then 1 year.
