[Q] Stock Kernel T959UVKB5 - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, where can i find stock kernel for vibrant froyo (2.2), all the links seems to be broken
thanks

These aren't for just the stock kernel, but check this thread out:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1036193
It particular this post (#224) by Fishman:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24149078&postcount=224
That's an entire stock ROM (also rooted and busy boxed) with the stock kernel included.

For Froyo or GB Roms Id say try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1627070
The Jaeyoon kernel is basically a stock froyo 2.2 kernel with Voodoo enabled.

I fixed the links in my original post. Copied that from somone that asked for a stock ROM and didn't pay attention that it kept the ... in the middle.

Thanks...
Thanks everyone for your help, i´m downloading some of the images i´ll try to see what fits better to me....

[Q] Litening 1.5 and stock kernel features diff

With the current litening 1.5 ROM which features of the "tweaked" kernel would I lose if I flash the stock kernel to get rid of the yellow warning? (The stock kernel differs from the 1.5 one, according to the md5 checksum check as well) Feel free to answer in full tech detail, I have extensive understanding of the linux kernel.
Thanks in advance.
I tried to reply in a similar question directly in the litening forum but I am not allowed to post there for whatever reason ...

[Q] Kernel and ROM compatibility

Ok so i am sure this is noob question I am currently running the latest doom kernel and the T.E.A.M ROM v1.6. My question if I change ROM do I need to go back to the stock kernel first? If so were can I download it i think I found a thread with a list of Kernels once but can't find it again.

Kernal for both GingerB and stock?

Hi all,
we used to be able to switch between roms with the same kernal. There are so many roms and kernals I don't know is there a kernal we can use with the latest MiniCm 2.1.7 and stock 2.1?
MiniCM7 need nAa kernel, and we know that nAa is kernel for custom GB rom
for stock 2.1, I just try ZP kernel, and I think kernel for both MiniCM7 and stock is not yet build
Thanks for the info.
Only on rare cases do I need something from the stock ROM and sometimes if things go wrong I might need to go back to that ROM for a moment, but I miss having one kernal for both...it was so easy to switch.
I can't complain though, the dev on the newer roms is just brilliant.
If you try to use ZP kernel with stock 2.1 eclair, you will not be able to use your touch screen. Modules are not same for GB and stock ROM.

[Q] Solved: Kernel and baseband for Wolf Rom

Hi guys
After a while trying to get a ics stable rom, I decided to come back to my old WolfBreak GB ROM.
I made a backup with xrecovery, but I've just know that I have to restore the kernel (and baseband?) too. I tried to download them from the WB rom page, but the link is broken.
Where can I find the kernel? Must I install the baseband too?
I found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30611479&postcount=4
But I don't know if the kernel for WB Rom is among those...
Thank you for your help!
Edit: I have already found the kernel I wanted, thanks
