.Flash 4.1.B.0.587 ftf using flashtool
1.Factory reset in cwm
2.wipe cache partition
3.wipe dalvik cache
4.Format /system (in mounts and storage)
5.Format /cache
6.Format /Data
7.Install Xperia_Ice_Cream_Pureness_build_13.00.zip
8.Install patch for your phone model
9.Reboot now and you are done !
After flashing let the phone settle down for 1 hour at least before starts to play with it
+.When low on ram/phone starts to lag use Adrenaline boost.Open terminal emulator.Type Su and press enter.Give super user permission.Now type boost and press enter.It will boost your ram up.Also reboot your phone at least a day to get rid of the lag,this is mainly due to the way android system makes cache
Also use System panel light to end unused tasks to clear ram
Full wipe is absolutely recommended

Flash via cwm and voila you have a new theme
*after first boot(after flashing the rom,not a theme zip) select the silk theme from theme selector inbuilt in phone.After that it will start crashing and forget about it.IF something like settings app start fc'ing then again select the theme and it will be ok

Xperia Ice Cream Pureness Build 14
Build 14 is kinda unfinished,but that doesn't means its not stable for daily use or anything like that.This build is the most stable build & was using on my older Neo V for more than a month without any complains =) It's just that I do not have any more free time left for to finish this build fully or anything I started in xda tbh =(
And this is not because of the S3 I got,its bcos over the last month so much has changed and I guess life just happened Also this means every project I started in xda will be on pause indefinitely at least for around 8-9 months =(

For me, sms notification only works but not missed calls.
Got bootloop, time to go back to JJ's Hybrid.
Just downloaded it now. I got a bootloop the first time I tried to install, but the second time I tried to install it all went fine.

This rom was tested on Neo(by a friend of mine),Neo V(by me),Arc S(by cousin + his phone have a locked bl) & Ray(by ForsakenNGL) before releasing and it fully worked.So if you are getting a boot loop you haven't followed instructions correctly mate

I am on a locked bootloader and it's working fine.
OOOh !!! din't forget (like me) to format system and other partitions after wipe... just bricking my ray!!!!!!!!!!!!!:crying: go to flashtool

Install over stock clean ICS, I haven't encountered any bootloops, always install custom roms over the base stock rom.

Issues with booting.
It does not boot all the time after install, I hope in future you will change that version of CWM. After full wipe allways got a brick.
Strangely, it boots if not full wipe.

I already know that cm7=GB, cm8=HC (not released), cm9=ICS, cm10=JB
in v09 video (in original post) android version says 4.0.4..

That's fake 4.0.4,this ist just edited build prop.About the rom i tested it on stock kernel and it works great.

A bit of logic,stock kernel users can't get ics 4.0.4.I think this is not lie,he just edited build prop,you can edit it yourself and rename it from 4.0.4 to 2.3.7. and in first post is writted

you are wrong the project is stopped because ics on stock kernel will be never smooth and the stock kernel is too outdated.Ics require newer kernel,ics should have 3.0.8 kernel soo,if you think i m wrong ask nAa or other developer and stop here the offtopic this is a cm7.1 rom not ics.

Where is Developer Options and Performance settings ??
- Go to Settings -> About phone then press Build number 7 times..
I can't read anything in Messaging app ?!
- Don't be so afraid. Press menu button, select Settings, and you can personalize looks and feel of your Messaging app there
MSC mode ??
- Settings -> Xperia™ Connectivity -> USB computer connection -> Mass Storage
Some apps have bad layout ??
- Of course because they're made for HDPI+, fix: simply change your phone dpi to 140 OR change per-app density to 140 (just like PA)
How to disable small apps ??
- Freeze/disable 'Small App Launcher' then restart phone (or just restart SystemUI)
Your ROM is faster than NOS !! But some other 4.2.2 ROMs are faster ??
- Nah, don't ever try to compare this one's performance with it's 4.2.2 brothers.
Why ?? I think u already know, this rom is half CM10.1 and half SONY 4.3 fw.
All SONY 4.3 fw are made for it's HIGH END devices that basically not our device, so they're very hungry in resources.
I HAVE and I WILL do my best to handle the performance degradation of using SONY's fw.
So don't complain to me IF you found this rom has worse performance than other 4.2.2 roms, complain to SONY instead..
TIPS :
Go to Settings -> Personalization -> Status bar -> Battery status style, it'll let you choose another battery style
Go to Settings -> Personalization -> Lockscreen -> Background -> Color fill -> move the Alpha slider max to the right, it'll give you better lockscreen look
Go to Settings -> Personalization -> Lockscreen -> uncheck Camera widget, it'll eliminate lockscreen camera bug (LX / CM10.1 bug)
Add "Network mode" into quick settings panel then setting it to "2G | 3G" will give you ability to stick into 2G/3G only
Add "Digital clock" into lockscreen widget then remove the default lockscreen clock widget will give you stock Sony clock as default lockscreen clock widget

No major bugs here, just little bugs like some graphical/layout, FCs on power widget settings and FCs while you click on the expanded statusbar clock,
nothing will kill you..

INSTALLATION
JellyVanilla EX 7.0
JV-EX 6.1 :
0. Make a backup
1. Flash CM10.1 LX 20131108 kernel for your device
2. Enter recovery
3. Wipe data (no need to do if you came from JV-EX 5.x)
4. Flash JellyVanilla EX 6.0
5. Flash UPDATE-JellyVanilla EX 6.1
6. Flash urushi_dev_files
7. Boot your phone
8. If you get black screen after setting up phone, just press Home button
9. Let the ROM idle for a minute, and... Done !!
WARNING:
If you're going to use JV-EX with language other than English (US), you must flash this pack otherwise your keyboard will FCs

- Go to Settings -> About phone then press Build number 7 times..
I can't read anything in Messaging app ?!
- Don't be so afraid. Press menu button, select Settings, and you can personalize looks and feel of your Messaging app there

How to disable small apps ??
- Freeze/disable 'Small App Launcher' then restart phone (or just restart SystemUI)
Your ROM is faster than NOS !! But some other 4.2.2 ROMs are faster ??
- Nah, don't ever try to compare this one's performance with it's 4.2.2 brothers.
Why ?? I think u already know, this rom is half CM10.1 and half SONY 4.3 fw.
All SONY 4.3 fw are made for it's HIGH END devices that basically not our device, so they're very hungry in resources.
I HAVE and I WILL do my best to handle the performance degradation of using SONY's fw.
So don't complain to me IF you found this rom has worse performance than other 4.2.2 roms, complain to SONY instead..

Really Is recommended old kernel from 20131108 ? If yes, why exactly this kernel?

- can i remove NAV bar button, it's made my screen smaller.
- when i open the message the theme is white and the font corlor is white too, i have tick use dark theme but it's not change to dark theme
- the music is awesome with the Xloud

Only with that kernel you can use your wifi..
OR try to use latest Dark Kernel then use the wifi module attached there (i haven't tried this yet)

Hello everyone.
Development of JellyVanilla EX 7.0 was started but due to certain unavoidable reasons iiandskater cannot continue the development of the ROM for now.
He unfortunately had to sell his modding device and cannot continue development at this time.
For resuming it as soon as possible he would firstly need a device, that he does not have at the moment.
So this is a request to everyone to please support him appropriately , via donations or any useful stuffs that could be used in furthur development, so that we see a mind-numbing JellyVanilla-Ex 7.0 sooner than ever.

Installed this rom on my urushi device and now I can't restore apps from titanium and even install for example timely or link2sd and some other apps, to my impress I installed adaway, gmail and other google apps. But I don't understand why I can't install apps listed above? It just says application not installed and no reason why... How to fix it?

Install Zip Signer from playstore and sign the apk with media keys.

Thanks for advice, it worked. But why the rom isn't installing some apks normally? And should I sign all apks which aren't installing?

Only Paid apps will need to be patched, every other apk will install normally.
