[HELP] Fine Scratches on Display -What can i do? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey Guys!
Just wanted to know how can i remove fine Scratches on the Display?
Is there any kind of "polishing paste" for removing it ?
If you know something let me know !
Thanks!

my phone is fallen down yesterday and has fine scratches, too. they are only visible in sun if you put the device on the side you can see them. how can you remove these fine scratches ?
same problem as so_ony i think

Light scratches on screen, put a screen protector and you shall not see those again and also save it from any further damage.

Just bought Xperia S, silly question but please help

Hi Guys,
Just bought an xperia s off the flea bay, was just wondering either side of the transparent buttons are what looks like hairline cracks?, are these meant to be there or is there some sort of plastic protection cover to be removed as the front does look a little scratched and was hoping there was a plastic film on it for me to remove. I've also noticed that the seller had a screen protector on there, I removed as it was badly fitted but i'm pretty sure there looks to be another one on there i've tried removing but doesnt seem to want to come off and dont want to use force just incase its not supposed to come off.
Thanks guys in advance.

Man don't you dare to remove that cover it's the shatter proof for the screen. Also the grid you see within the transparent strip is the supposed to be working as the antenna for the phone so not to worry for that.
Enjoy the new phone its freaking awesome.....
I bet u'll love it.....

Lots of people did dare to take off the shatter proof screen and much prefer it.

I removed my shatterproof sheet. The screen responsibility improved so much. But when I hard anything plugged in, be it the charger, headphones or AUX cable. The lower part of the screen would act funny.
So I had to put an other screenprotector on it to fix it. However, with this new protector my screen is super smooth and attracts pretty much no dust anymore.

I also have this problem, my phone has been looked after very well, never been dropped, has a nice soft rubber case and is always kept in my pocket by itself, no keys, wallet, anything, so there's no chance of it ever being scratched yet even though I have taken every precaution to keep it in perfect condition, I noticed a tiny little mark on the screen, I cleaned the screen with my sun glasses microfibre cloth but could still see this mark, after feeling the screen I noticed there was actually an edge to the mark, it was as if the screen had some sort of coating and that had blistered off, is the best way to describe it. God knows how or what caused it, like I have said I really look after my phone, I still have a sgs1 in perfect condition. It's a bit annoying that this has happened but I am more worried that more of this coating will peel off over time. I was just wondering how your phone is now or if you managed to send it back at all?

[Q] Does Fractured Screen Suitable For Daily Use?

Hello, unfortunately I dropped my s3 at the campus and first there was just dust sized scratch but then it fractured as the picture below. Now my question is, can contunie to use my s3 daily untill it completely broke or does this crack harm my touchscreen or something internal hardware day by day?

My phone also has a cracked screen and it still works perfectly fine. In order to pretect myself from cutting my fingers while swiping over the screen and to keep the 'tension' of the screen I applied some kind of thick reflective foil like this one. It keeps the 'tension', prevents you from cutting your fingers AND you can't easily see the crack anymore.

Thank you, sounds great! But what's the mirror screen? Is it different from this?

There should not be a big difference but since I have only tested I can only tell you about the reflective foil. It's kinda like a mirror when your screen is turned off and as you turn the screen on you can see through it. When there is direct sunlight this might become a problem but for me it worked perfectly by now. If you still decide to buy a clear foil be sure to buy a thick one and apply it in a way to get the screen under 'tension'.
Good luck!

Annoying marks after replacing the glass

Hello After i replaced the glass in a local phone repair everything works perfectly but i have a kind of watermark on the screen that i'm able to see in the sun or when the phone is off will this lead to any damage ??

(Q) a deep scratch on my screen

Hey guys my z ultra just slip from my hand
It fall onn small size stone nd now I just got a small round deep scratch there
Screen is working fine no issues but I think the protector need to be
Removed but as it vill be removed the Sony logo vil also be gone so there is any one cancelled.me what shd I do now plz
What you should do:
Calm your tits and remove the damaged protector, then put another one on.
But, unless you really love brand names, then don't remove it and have it like you do.
Simple.
Hi. There is no problem. On US You can order new ASF. It's hard to put on screen and cost is 10 $ but if you want ori ASF its no problem
I removed the plastic film because it's damaged. It's been a hassle to tear it off bit by bit, and I have to remove the residue glue, and I put on glass plate afterwards.
I have been wary about losing Sony logo, but it doesn't matter anymore and I like the plain black look of the front.
