I have a ? about this, I have a Galaxy Note, and a few games I bought on my previous phone won't install. I edited the file to reflect I had a different phone. But neither will install. I contacted 1 of the developers and thy said the game (Pro Soccer Zombie) works with Note's. They asked if I was running a rom on my phone, which I am ICS Perfections #2. What exactly do I need to change in my prop build to get these 2 games I'm having troubles with to run.

Problem with gameboid- ROMs won't load...

Ok so I am having a problem with the gameboid app. I downloaded a bios file, and out of the 8 or so roms I downloaded, only one is working. When I tried to load the other ones, it said gba rom load failed, or something.
Anyone know why they won't load? Could it be I need a better bios file or would that make any difference at all? I don't think it could be that the roms just aren't supported, they're fairly popular games, like super mario advance and whatnot...
Thanks!

Could be a corrupt BIOS download? Try re-downloading the BIOS file, and then run it again.
Wouldn't a corrupt bios file mean none of the roms would work? One of the roms is working, but the rest all say failed. Anyone have that problem, if it is the bios file? Can anyone confirm that either redownloading the bios file, or getting a different one, would solve it?

Oh yeah, sorry my bad. I didn't see that bit!
You could try re-downloading I guess, it might make a difference. What does it say when you load the non-working ROMs?
It says "Load Rom failed. Please try another file." or something like that. so far only Pokemon Emerald worked out of like the other 8 roms I downloaded from CoolRom.com.
maybe I should try a different bios file. I'll try that and report back to see if that's the problem. I was hoping maybe someone was having the same problem, and tried a different bios file, and then it worked. If that happened to anyone, please could you post the site where you got the bios file from? Thanks!
Tried a different bios file, games still won't load, except for same one. Hmmmm.... anyone have any ideas of how to fix this? Or could it just be that the emulator isn't supporting these games? Should I try to download a different rom file for the games that aren't working?

Please Help
Ive tried everything to get the gameboid app to work. I dont know what to do, can you tell me exactly what you did to be able to play game boy advance games on your mytouch? I have the emulator i just dont know where exactly to put all of the files.
Well first, you should connect your phone to your PC, and make a folder for the games you have. Alternatively, you could download a file manager app from the market and use that to create a new folder.
Then, you need a gba bios file. You'll have to google that though. Once you found one, put it in the folder you created.
When you open the Gameboid app, you have to specify where the bios file is, so find it and select it. Then just search for where you put your ROM files, and select one, and you should be set. Keep in mind, you don't need to unzip the ROM files you download, just download, and put in the folder you created, that's it.
I am still having trouble though myself with the app. I don't know if it's my phone(mytouch slide), or the bios file I downloaded, or just the rom files I got, but alot of the games I tried didn't work. more than half of them actually. Can anyone confirm if they were able to play these games:
Classic NES - Super Mario Bros.
Castlevania - Circle of the Moon
Dragonball GT - Transformation
Mario Advanced 2 - Mario World
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Monster Rancher Advance 2
Shing Force - Resurrection of the Dark Dragon
Three StoogesTy the Tasmanian Tiger 2
Those are the ones I have so far that don't work. A couple just go to a blank screen for a second, and then it goes back to the ROM select menu, without any kind of message popping up, and most just don't load or do anything, and say Load Rom failed. Please try another file.
should I contact the developer about this issue, and see if he's working on updating the gameboid to be more compatible?

Oh, and also, you can use the Gameboid app to search for ROM files(games), just open it up, and press the menu button on your phone, and either select Search Roms, or the Rom Buddy option.
I'm having this problem with my epic as well. i would love a solution for this. its making me miss my psp.
Hi ti everybody.
I have to say that I tryed a few games ( other games, but I'll take a look to the listed ones ) and they all work except for one: Pokèmon Emerald ( Italian version ).
I've downloaded my bios over here: ww.emuparadise.org/biosfiles/bios.html
If you cold send me or post a link to the bios you use, I'll test it.
My phone is an Xperia X8.
EDIT: Ok, I've tested your emerald & it works.
Games I've played & Work are:
-2 in 1 Uno & Skip Bo(EUR)
-Dragon Ball Advance(EUR)
-Pkmn Fire red (ITA ver)
Games that don't work for me are:
-Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories (EUR)
So, I'm wondering if you did the same dumb thing I did. Are the games you are trying to play for the classic game boy or the gameboy advance. Many of the roms out there don't always separate them if you download them as one large file. The only game I wanted was Metroid II, greatest game ever made btw, and I was having a really hard time playing it.
Since it was an original game boy game, I couldn't use gamboid, I have to use Super GBC Lite and it worked immediately without the need of any bios file.
Hopefully it's that simple for you
has anyone figured out what the main problem is yet? I have tried a few different BIOS files and that hasn't fixed the problem for my atrix. I'm looking for those italian versions of pokemon now to see if they will work
Loading BIOS failed. The valid BIOS file must be specified in the settings
Loading BIOS failed. The valid BIOS file must be specified in the settings I Have This Message When I Choose My BIOS And Play A Game .
rom file was the problem
guys, if it happen that you can play only even one game, that only means that there is no problem with your bios file but the rom it self because the proof is you can play other rom so for those roms that you can't play I suggest that you look for a different rom provider like loveroms.com emuparadise.com roms4droid.com and many others.. hope this helps...

[Q] Asphalt 6 HD

Bought this game for my Nexus S. Trying to put it on my NC. Wouldn't install. Has anyone gotten this working yet?
Don't believe so. You may want to follow the thread about gameloft games, we've been able to get some working with hacked .apks, some with IMEI patches. I believe someone got Asphalt 5 working.
I can't even buy it from the market, cause it says my device is not compatible. Anyway around this?
I have this game on the Xoom and just bought it via market.android, I'll see if I can get it to run on the NC without an IMEI patch.
However, I will say this, the Need for Speed games are much better. I played Asphalt 6 on the Xoom for about 20 min and found it boring. It doesn't capture me like the NFS series. Again, your mileage will vary. I will post if I can get the bought version to DL and run using Chainfire.
The apk for samsung galaxy s version 3.2.2 works great with phiremod 7.1 for me without the need for chainfire.
FYI, I bought it during the recent sale and I installed and played this last night. I installed Chainfire first, so I'm not sure if that is needed or not. The only problem is the camera angles were all like pointed up over the car, so I'm not sure if it's the apk or maybe I need to adjust the DPI (on the stock 160 now).

I bought for .10 in recent sale as well and was unable to install on nook color from market. I then installed it as an apk with chainfire pro v3.3 and qualcomm plugin and it force closes. Any ideas? Thanks.
On a nook color CM7 stable 1200.
Which version .apk did you get? That matters much more than the version of CF3D.
The following versions are known to work on the NC:
Asphalt 6 1.0.4 xperia arc version (works with CF3d-qualcomm), 3.2.2 Galaxy S
I believe I had Chainfire setup to use the Nvidia plugin at the time. I didn't think to try any others. I believe I was using something like 3.1.9 for the Asphalt version (I would have to double check to be sure).
You should find the 3.2.2 version. You won't need chainfire at all to get it up and running (set it to powerVR if you already have it installed).

Tried Asphalt 6 1.0.4 xperia arc version with CF3d-qualcomm which force closed
and 3.1.2 Galaxy s which played the intro movie and nothing else. Is there a 3.2.2?
Edit - again, I just tried to install 1.0.4 xperia and opened the app and i got - this app is not compatible with this device.
Purchased it for .10, it installs fine on Nook and phone, but will not run on either device.
Phone is rooted Moto Triumph.
This is one that I really wanted to try out!
The market version runs perfectly on my Nook (I have since uninstalled the 3.2.2 since now I can use an officially supported version. I have build.prop set to galaxy tab, IMEI from my serial # (both using DizzyDen's patch) and my LCD density set to 160 (set LCD for root).

Could you please share your build.prop?
Or you can use the Nexus S build.prop.
GT-I9023 works for me.
i think its
ro.product.device
ro.product.model
ro.device.somethinghere. forgot.
Make these changes:
ro.build.user=cowork03
ro.build.host=Sprint5
ro.product.model=SPH-P100
ro.product.brand=sprint
ro.product.name=SPH-P100
ro.product.device=SPH-P100
ro.product.board=SPH-P100
ro.product.manufacturer=samsung
ro.build.fingerprint=google/passion/passion:2.3.6/GRK39F/189904:user/release-keys
to the build.prop file in /system/ with either root explorer's text editor or ES file explorer in order to see the apps in the market. Sorry for not mentioning the .fingerprint before, the ROM i'm on already changed it so I didn't realize that it was needed.
Or if you have CM7 you can use these DizzyDen's IMEI generator settings:
Device_Manufacturer = Samsung
; If blank then the program will not edit build.prop
; If anything other than blank the program will edit build.prop to include manufacturer
Manufacturer_Device = SPH-P100
; If blank then the program will not include device in build.prop edit
; IF anything other than blank the program will include device in build.prop edit
; NOTE: No build.prop edit will occur if Device_Manufacturer is blank
Device_Model = SPH-P100
; If blank then the program will not include model in build.prop edit
; IF anything other than blank the program will include model in build.prop edit
; NOTE: No build.prop edit will occur if Device_Manufacturer is blank
This is how it reads in my !IMEIme.ini (part of the DizzyDen patch). This only works on CM7(since it already has the ro.build.fingerprint edits).
Thank you gallahad2000! Damn this game is addictive!
[and the graphics are seamless. Amazing performance]

Install incompatible apps through changing device in build.prop?

Hi,
I've read that I can install incompatible apps from the market when I change my device in build.prop. So would that just allow me to download them or might some of them maybe even run? I'm interested in games like Shadow Era, Madden 12 etc.
Thanks in advance
Everything depends on the game itself. Chainfire will also help you run some games, but these methods only skip device checking, they don't do magic.
The package on the Android Market uses the ARMv7 package but you can download the ARMv6 package, from our download page, to run Shadow Era on your LG Optimus One. It's on our homepage, in the Download page from the menu on the left.
Try to add this and reboot:
ro.opengles.version=131072

Mass Effect INFILTRATOR - get it to work, legally!! *NEEDS ROOT ON DEVICE/PHONE*

Ok gang, hopefully this will work - FOR ALL OF YOU.
****You need ROOT on the device you purchase it from*****
EG: My phone is rooted (SGS2/E4GT)
Easiest way, for me (IN USA)
Needed:
1. Android Phone that's ROOTED that can purchase Mass Effect in Play Store
2. Rom Toolbox Lite (Or comparable Root Browser that can see and goto /data/app)
or
2a. Titanium Backup
3. Gmail/Dropbox
Here we go (Rooted way):
1. Purchase Mass Effect Infiltrator within Play Store
2. Install the APK/Application (Once purchased it will download and allow it to install the apk/application)
3. Download/install Rom Toolbox Lite (Thanks JRummy16!!)
4. Open Rom Toolbox Lite and scroll down to Root browser. Allow permissions.
5. Scroll down to /data/app
6. Find your recently purchased .com.ea.games.meinfiltrator_**-1.apk (** stands for country code)
7. Copy file to another directly (I used my download directory)
8. Exit out and open up regular file browser (I used My Files browser or ES File Explorer)
9. Find your file wherever you copied it. Press/hold and select Share. Either email it to yourself or upload it to your dropbox
10. goto your prime, download apk, install. Open up a beer, have a raspberry lemonade cooler, or goto church while you wait 20-40 minutes while it downloads (790 megs on my end).
11. Get the best earbuds you have, plug it in, and ENJOY.
12. Test it and make sure it runs properly. Come back here and use 1 of your daily thanks ;-)
Titanium Backup Way
Do #1 and #2 from above.
Backup MEInfiltrator
Send it to yourself (or use dropbox)
Skip to #10 above and enjoy the rest of your day
I hope this works for everyone. I've gotten 4 people who used Evo 3Ds and Galaxy Note to confirm this works.
BTW - no crashes for me, but i'm still on .15.
Let me know how it works!!
PS This way can be used for other games that do not run properly because of the developer not submitting proper screen sizes or dpis in the application. When Dead Space first came out (by EA), you could only play it vertically on the prime. They soon (within a month or so) submitted the proper app.
OK, sorry to necro-post, but... I can see this working on some devices, but regardless, it won't work whatsoever on newer ones like the NVIDIA Shield Tablet because it just isn't compatible with the higher resolutions. It will give you a server error 5002 no matter what.

[Guide] [OUTDATE] Fortnite Mobile More Fps 45/60/90

First, im Not the owner of this Apks and i have No Idea whos the Contact Person... I found this way on many YouTube Guides. But 4 all the Gamers with Oppo find x2 Pro non root, there is No other way for more Fps.
Thats for any devices im Only tested with Oppo find X2 pro Global Rom. I can choose Up to 90fps but Only 60fps works for me.
How-to-Guide
1.
-First Download and Install Fortnite via Epic Games App
-start Fortnite and Update the Game until 100%
-start a Battle Royale Round
-left and Close the Game shortly after the start to Safe your Game settings.
2.
-download apk1 (there ist the Unlocked Fps option APK)
And apk 2 (there is locked and singed by Fortnite APK)
<more will follow shortly>
3.
-now navigate in Data Manager
1. Android/OBB/com.epicgames.fortnite2. And rename this folder, Like com.epicgames.fortnite553. Do the Same withAndroid/Data/com.epicgames.fortniteMaybe U need to Switch the Manager bec Android 11...
4.
-so all 2 Folders are renamed
-now you can Unstall the original Fortnite.
-Install apk1 but do not start!
-rename the 2 Folders Back to Stock (com.epicgames.fortnite)
-now Start Fortnite and let them optimize ur Data.
5.
-now Go to Settings and U can Switch Fps, decide freely which of them works for Ur devices.
-90 Fps dont Work for me, i recommend to Start with 60 Fps
6.
-start an Battle royale (to save the Options)
-on warm up you can see the 60fps works.
-near you jump Out of the Bus, you got kicked Out of the Match, and an Error aperars. Dont worry thats right!
7.
-NOW Install apk2 over the installed Version! Dont delete or rename everything!
-apk2 Its the singed APK Form Epic Games
-start the Game and Go to Settings, now the Fps Shows "Option". Your ready To Go! and you dont get kicked Out of the Match.
Thats all. Enjoy Fortnite with 60 or above Fps
an older method was to edit gamesetting.ini using parallel space and then using rootbrowser, unfortunately this method no longer works for me.
If you Start with 90fps and you got in Game Only 30fps, it dosnt Work for you. Now Close the Game and Reinstall APK1 to Reedit the FPS Mode, start Match, Close Game, Reinstall apk2 and Test again.
