no problems here as well

If you picture are not focusing your camera could be failing. My wifes phone had the same problem occur. I flash stock to verify and performed a master clear. Called for a replacement. All is fine now. Just something to look for.

That'd be my guess and I probably would have never noticed without it being posted but I'm seeing the same issue on Elegancia 4.7. Image isn't sideways but effects don't work. Which brings me to my next question, do effects even work with the "FFC" on stock?

FFC is Front facing camera, and yes it works on stock, effects and all. You say your self shots aren't sideways in Elegancia? That's the last rom I tested. I'm about to try Hasson's dev base, and see what that's like, if not, I'll just RUU, then root, and leave it like that, till the devs have more time to perfect their rom's. Some of them are really nice, but maybe I'm just vain, I take a fair amount of self shots, and the effects isn't that big of a deal, but that sideways action drives me nuts.

Remove the back case and take a pic with flash.
That pink dot on the middle could be moist.

When did you start getting this pink thing?
Looks hardware rather than software related.

Camera always blurry??

I traded my other phone for an HTC One today and I'm loving it! But I'm having an issue with the camera... No matter what settings I choose or how much I tap to focus, it's always blurry! The phone was rooted with twrp recovery and android revolution rom pre-installed, but I don't know if its bootloader unlocked or s-off... All I know is I went into twrp and wiped caches and data/factory reset and logged into all my accounts... The camera sometimes manages to focus and works, but the rest of the time it just stays blurry... Any thoughts?
EDIT: I attached a picture I just took of my headphones so you can see what I mean...
That's your problem, you have apple headphones.

as above post states, you probably need to revert to stock to get rid of any lingering settings from a rom that could be causing it.
I actually did so, but still the problem presisted... I ended up returning it and getting a new replacement One thanks for the tips both of u!

Is it possible to restore to stock without being S-Off? I am currently having the same issue and was going to revert to stock and if the issue persists exchange the phone. So I'd like to be completely reverted to stock if I need to exchange it. Thanks for the help!
Ever since I updated to 4.2.2 my camera has been blurry...definitely reverting.

Funny, for a supposed "Better-in-low-light" phone camera, mine is also bad at low light conditions. Slow focusing, also.
That happened to me once, no matter what I tapped on to focus, the camera refused to do so. But I just closed the app and opened it again and it fixed itself. Maybe try that.

[Q] Camera Issues

Friends, how about, I have a question regarding the HTC cameras, I own a HTC Droid DNA, and take pictures in low light, such as in the antrum or Disco. Focus when no LED lights and therefore go wrong photos, I have to take several to hit which goes well, otherwise a Galaxy Nexus (my previous smartphone). My question is: It happens to all HTC? With some mod or some application may fix this?
Greetings from Mexico and congratulations for all your efforts
Sorry for my English, I'm using google xD

if you mean does it take crap pics in low light then yes it does lol. it kinda makes the flash as its own filter like a vignette.

No it doesn't but it takes fine pics when it flashes to take the pic. Like this one. edit: wow it loses a lot of quality when uploaded through tapatalk lol, the color still seems okay though. The non assisted flash is by design though to answer your question.

Same old LG tricks. Video autofocus breathing issue is back

Can't believe it, the G2 camera has that autofocus breathing issue like the Optimus G had and my G Pro had this but was fixed in a firmware update. LG never learn!
http://optimusforums.com/threads/lg-g2-auto-focus-breathing-issue-again.8850/
Not a phone to buy I think, unless lg fix this....Xperia Z1 will have OIS?
It's more an open or a closed problem?
I mean, with cyanogen, the problem could be fixed or not?

Like my Optimus G pro, a software update should fix it.
damn. the DNA was kinda like this. hopefully someone will create a camera mod like on the DNA where you can lock the focus....just like with the S4 (s4 does that stock, though)
I've seen this issue on so many LG phones now. Waiting for an update or worse, waiting for a third party to fix it, just simply terrible. How can something so blatantly wrong pass QA and be released, over and over and over again? If it was fixed on an older phone, why does a newer one have traces of it? Even if it doesn't have the problem on launch day firmware, I am really iffy about the rest of the phone's camera capabilities and phone features in general. Such a large corporation like LG continues to act like a small Chinese no-name phone knockoff operation with bad software that completely ruins the hardware.
Interesting, but considering every review unit is using beta software, I wouldn't jump to conclusions on this one.
Use other camera apps
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I wait for an update of course.
But so far I use the beta focal.apk ( Play store)
It makes a total pieceful video! No breathing focus.
Try also Super camera or snap camera.
So this auto-focus breathing has been really bugging me and I've been testing practically every single camera/video recorder app out there. Finally found an app that I think works better than Focal. It's called, coincidentally, lgCamera.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rubberbigpepper.lgCamera&hl=en
The thing with Focal is that you have to make sure you change your screen timeout before you use it. Otherwise, your screen will turn off while recording and mess it up. lgCamera, by default, has focus set to auto, but not continuous auto, which is what appears to cause auto-focus breathing. When I set focus to continuous mode in lgCamera, it does the same thing as the stock camera.
A couple of minor issues. First, everything is setup for landscape orientation, although videos appear to record in portrait as well, although pictures aren't (but using this more for video). Second, when returning from the gallery, you get a black screen, although switching back and forth with camera mode fixes that issue.
Hope this can tide people over until LG fixes this issue.

Truth my friend is,that you didnt search before you ask. This is why he answered this way...Its not like there are tons of camera mods for this phone. There are only 2 and both are in the frond page of G2 android development. Its not like you need to search a million pages to find them.
Yep.
