Smart view app for system - Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0, 5.0

Hi I have mine rooted but no custom recovery or anything and was wondering if someone could upload a copy of the smart view app. My system also has the odex files so that would be nice to. I really want that app back

Flash a custom kernel for your device. Depending if it's a 5.0 intl or 5.0 us check further in dev thread also this should be in general not dev.

Nvm I got it. Please delete post

don't use ROM manager to flash anything on your device. It has caused many problems for many people already.
Flash with CWM recovery.
It's very easy to use.
BTW, what's your ROM details?

That was quick.
If iunderstood you properly, your aim is to flash Miui ROM, right?
I'm not sure if you are rooted or even have access to CWM recovery.
Anyway, follow this instruction:
- You will need root access. If you have let me know.
- You will need CWM recovery. If you have, let me know.
- have you found your desired miui ROM? If yes, post the link to the Rom thread
- why do you want to flash an miui ROM, is it because it looks like an iPhone? If yes, there may be other alternatives.
Waiting for your response.

on Xda, you cannot ask for ROM recommendation. Questions like that go through PM. If you want me to recommend you any ROM, send me a PM.
My aim is to help you install/flash your desired Rom safely.

For which Android version you want the Samsung App to be compatible?
This pack should work fine on any JB 4.1.1 rom

Boot videos for Samsung S3 - questions

I'm using the omega rom on my Samsung galaxy S3 and think it's awesome. But with the change from version 28 to 29 the boot video was changed which led me to two questions.
Question 1: how do I change the boot video myself?
Question 2: What boot video are people using on their S3's and could people supply me with a link?

If search fails then .
You take the trouble to look in Themes and Apps section for the boot animation thread .
jje
See the Theme section. Some files you can flash using CWM, some you have to install using a root file manager, as you have to change a system file.
It depends on how the dev packed the file.
You always can see instructions on the theme thread :highfive:

Yes. Adobe stopped supporting Flash on Jellybean so all installers are marked ICS but they work fine. This apk works with most ICS/Jellybean phones regardless of model and brand.
