I never ran stock KK6 but hear it's worthless. ShoStock uses KK6 and a lot of people are very happy with it. Picking a ROM is very much a trial and error deal. Get a kernel with recovery and do a nandroid back up and try them all and if you don't like them you can easily return where you were. I don't know about your other question sadly. I did the Zedomax root a long time ago and don't remember if I had to do a full wipe. I'd say just bite the bullet and do the wipe. Back up all your info somewhere though.

This is one of the downfalls of Android being mainstream. Too many people doing things they have business doing. I partly blame blogs like Android police and phandroid. They have a habit of promoting rooting with no responsibility of showing them how. They just point everyone to XDA.

The OP ask a legitimate question imho about the GS3 in a forum that is the predecessor to the GS3 where people are genuinely interested in this device. Correct us both if we are wrong then. The reason I started this thread served a dual purpose.
I wanted to inform people with an sgs2 that the forum for the sgs3 is now available, and I needed assistance in getting it to show up in the app.
The first reason, not really being obvious, yet still succeeding. May have caused some of the criticism about this thread.
I would like to address the real problem with this thread that has legitimate reason for criticism yet no one caught it, no it wasn't intentional. I apologize for posting a question in general. I do not apologize for creating this thread but for where I created it.

All he's really getting at is that this question has already been answered. Typically people will take some time to research whether or not their question has already been answered before posting in the Q & A.

Probability is 50/50...it either will or won't. There's you're answer.
However he (protekk) he had to vent about people being patient and they keep pestering him he may decide its not worth the time and move on. So as long as people are working on it there is a possibility. If they stop chances drop, simple as that.

Equally, I addressed CM9 too, and I was unable to find any threads on that.

Why is it everytime I see u comment in a thread its something negative trying to get on someone about something? And its always over something that's no big deal. i dont think he missed anything... the xda search feature isnt really that good. (everytime i search for something it never comes up with relevant results. ex: search for jellybean, i get things for gingerbread and other crap)
sometimes i just go to google and type "amaze jellybean xda" and the thread im looking for will be the top 5

This is the forum for the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S2 (SGH-I777). You have a Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100.

The reason most point out the fail is simple. The different forums have words differentiating one phone from another.

I understand that. However, there is no reason for anyone to rude about it. It would have taken an extra 2 seconds to tell OP why his post was a "Fail". I get every new comer to XDA will ask the same questions over and over. If you (not you Phalanx7621 directly, I mean users here in general) don't have anything to post that will solve OPs issue, why bother wasting your time posting anything?

Because responses like that should push people to read more. Also, its not a big deal just grow thicker skin.

push people to read more? At this point why bother spending time to post that you will not be saying anything. It adds nothing to the conversation.
Whatever man. All I wanted to convey was that even though OP posted in the wrong forum, there should still be some level of decency to tell OP why, even if the latter sentence is "Fail on so many levels" and have a mod close this thread.

We do report threads. But maybe you don't realize how often this happens. Its irritating to us because it could have been avoided by simply looking to see what forum you're in. which isn't really too much to ask. I agree, extremely rude responses aren't appropriate, but everything most of us say is light hearted and not meant to be taken too seriously
