They already have a cdma version of the one scaled down for ATT and other carriers. Once they release the one in cdma carriers they can update software for other HTC devices. Why would HTC update there older phones before a new device is deployed? Dumb move if I were in the marketing department of HTC.

Well, to throw a stick in your spokes, the EVO 3D is getting ICS, but only Sense 3.6, not 4.0. So really, it wouldn't matter if they released it before the One X. Especially since they've already released the update for the GSM version of the Sensation. It's a new experience.

Ok, but that said "Later This Year" for the HTC Vivid, and they got the official release before the US Sensation (unless the Sensation on T-Mo has it already). So, they're just not shedding details right now, that's all.
Well, I want sense based ROM.
This is for me the only reason to go with HTC.

Most of us will already have a new phone by then (june) with ics already on it. I highly doubt they would release it before the next evo.

Hi all. I'm seriously of dumping the stock ROM for a modified one, but what bothers me is the 3D functions,like pics,vids,and games.
Can someone list me any custom Sense ROMs that still have 3D?
It is the point of the phone after all.

All Sense 3.0 and Sense 3.5 have 3D working, expect with Sense 3.5 3D games that use real 3D will not work. I'm running Mikrunny right now, works good for me, I can watch 3D and capture 3D.

I was tried using Mikrunny, but a little bit uncomfortable since it didn't came with a twitter + Facebook for HTC sense, do you think I can make the request for this to dev, mate? If the dev can provide it, I'll flash Mikrunny again, eh..

Yes it does, it has Twitter for HTC sense built in, and Facebook for HTC sense is integrated into the regular Facebook account setting on Sense 3.5

Are you sure? Last time when flashing Mikrunny I didn't find peep (twitter for HTC sense) and stream (Facebook for HTC sense), can we install the Apk manually?

They are both integrated into the friend stream app and widgets, I'm using them myself .

I'm currently on Mikrunny again and this is confirmed. I thought the same thing when I first flashed but noticed by contact list pics and friends stream worked fine. After you sign in with the account you use, it will authorize the HTC Sense services for the ones you use during that time as well.

No and don't even try to flash because you can do serious damage to your phone. You need to go to LG development for LG ROMs

I have a question for you, I have an HTC Inspire 3d from Telcel in Mexico and I wanna update to Android 4.0 ICS but I don't find wich Rom must I install because there are only roms for HTC Evo 3D, will this Evo 3d roms work on my Inspire 3D? I have the htc inspire 4G, the roms you have to use are the desire hd roms. All the ics roms for the inspire are beta and a bit buggy. I suggest cynaogenmod 7 rc2 until a better solution comes around. Hope this helps..

I'm sure I have an HTC Inspire 3D, but I think this is the same thing than HTC EVO 3D, HTC seems to only changed its name for Mexico, Inspire 3D has the same technical specifications than EVO 3D...

The HTC Inspire 4G has completely different hardware than the HTC Evo 3D.

Well after several attempts to install King Cobra 3d, my htc did not start, stayed at boot, then I read it could be the kernel so i install it from the post of the king cobra rom and still did not work, so I had to restore my original rom : ( anyone knows what could have happened?
just curious, i was asking if anyone still used 4.0 roms. post your rom that you use if you do use one.
currently using sos m and i might go back to sense.
There's only 3 that I know of.
Virus/Team Venom's viper3d nightly
Newts One S
and Chubbzlou's
newt focuses more on the rezound and he had personal issues come up not sure if he's back developing yet

Umm, most roms aren't even Sense 4.0 yet. The official OTA to ICS didn't even update to sense 4.0.
Gsm phones have really no choice, Viper port, lucky I have my hands on a test rom that went dead before it was released, to bad because it's a solid rom.

I'm using the 8/9 Viper 3D 4.0 Rom right now. I installed in a few days ago and so far it has been fantastic. No bugs that I have noticed and all features work except for 3d and 4g which isn't a big deal for me anyways. Also the battery life has been solid so far compared to other 4.0 rom's I have tried.

Ya, the cdma version had reboot issue until today's release, but issue was minimal, been on it for a while, by far best with tweaks. Chubbz was awesome battery for a while, but w/o tweaks. You will enjoy.

Most sense 4 roms have been working for while now...the issues were 3d and 4g.

Op. I used Newts Sense 4.0 but I couldn't deal with not having 4g. Since the official release of ICS, I dropped Newts ROM and switched back to a 3.6 ROM (MeanRom 2.6).

I prefer sense 4, nicer & cleaner u.i. , more shortcuts, speed, 3d never used it and never will, 4 g, mostly use wifi anyways

Weird, I would get 4G on Sense 4 ROMs.
Only problems for me were 3D, TV out and Wifi Tethering.

Hi there i have been trying a whole bunch of roms for my HTC EVO 3D gsm (rogers) but the most popular such as cm10 or aokp don't work since my hboot is 1.5 instead of 1.4. So i was wondering whether you guys could help find me some roms that WORK on hboot 1.5 for HTC evo 3d gsm(rogers) sorry for noobish request.
