Tomorrow i will receiving my Samsung galaxy at&t sgh-i777 from cowboom used condition 7(very good), i pay $320, now Google are offering galaxy nexus at $399 will be $437 to ship to Florida, USA this one come with one year warranty. You guys think is worth the $117 difference or i will be better keeping the galaxy s II.
Keep SGS II save money wait for the SGS III IMHO. I Think that the nexus is not really much of an upgrade from our phones.

Nexus is too overrated. Sgs 2 has better hardware. Software will always change but hardware will always stay the same.
Gs2 > Galaxy Nexus all day every day.

Used i777 & Nex side by side.
i777 pretty much better in every way except for ICS. And if you're reading this forum.... you know ICS is very available. But as someone else pointed out... SIII right around the corner...
I don't think $350ish is *so* bad for an i777..........

Anyway, to OP, $320 seems to be a good price, hope you can trust the seller.
I bought a GN. I will get Jellybean first while GSII never will get it and SIII probably next year summer;-)

Yes maybe, the question is when. It hasn't even gotten ICS officially. I know there are custom roms for ICS but they have all still small issues.

Don't be so sure. The international Galaxy S2 got ICS before the Nexus S.
The unlocked GSII got ICS just 2 weeks ago. I have an AT&T branded GSII and we got nothing so far. The GN that I get is directly supported by Google so I am pretty sure that I get JB first.

I'm curious if anyone here will be grabbing the GS3 later this week when it's released? I'm not up for resigning until later this year but honestly am very interested in getting one.. Obviously the specs are not up to the international version but still higher then out GS2s...
Also hoping the Devs here on our forum are going GS3, loved their work and I have a feeling we're going to need them to do to the GS3 what they did for our GS2s, get rid of the bloatware and find ways to improve battery life for starters

Need to update to a newer phone with a big screen and dna seems to fit that mold... i wanna ask you guys who havw had the phone for a while is it worth 350 that my friend is selling his for??? If its s-off and boot loader unlocked , then surely go 4 it.
If not then be happy with stock ROM.
I also came from GNex, its a big jump in specs from it. Iam lovin it.

If your DNA in on 2.x you can't boot loader unlock it , can be done through a hardware hack , Google for dna JTAG

350 is about the going market rate at the moment. As someone else said, make your buddy give you the friend discount to 325 and jtag for 45. Big jump from your Nexus.

I am also still very impressed with my note 2 but I think I will be more impressed with the note 3 when I can finally get it
I'm ready for an upgrade but I'm going to wait it out. Nothing else seems like a big enough difference to make me want to leave the note 2. We'll see what next summer has in store, maybe by the time the note 4 rolls out I'll be ready to leave this phone behind.

So guys hi for those of you who know me and those of you who don't. Tomorrow I am due to pick up a new phone for an upgrade at Best Buy. The Galaxy Note 3 is by far the biggest and best phone I have seen specs for. Prior to, I was a device maintainer for Team Baked on the Nexus S 4G. I was doing research as to find a device I can assist bringing the Baked Rom to. According to This article, Cyanogenmod will be releasing nightlies for this device and include open source. This in turn opens a door for our team to do what we do to provide this fantastic rom on this device. I look forward to try and serve you guys for the next few years with listening to feedback and see what we can do to ultimately make this the top inverted running machine you can get your hands on. I want to apologize ahead of time because I kind of jumped the gun out of excitement. It is really going to depend when I get to best buy what kind of deal they will be giving me for this device, because as far as I know through Sprint, it will be $350 unless Best Buy has this phone on sell. This phone is my 1st pick, of course, but if I don't end up getting it, I will be getting the LG G2 which is on sale with an upgrade for $50 so fingers crossed and I will change the title of this thread to Possible, I apologize once again ahead of time.

Man don't get the g2. I had that device for a month before it came out. And then some. LG is having nothing but problems with that device. The n3 is 10 times better.

I understand that but it all comes down to money in the end, money I don't have at that and getting a new phone compared to the refurbished evo 4g i had a few weeks ago is a lot better. I would really like this phone but I thought the phone would be completely free for upgrading and it unfortunately might not be, regardless, if, when we start development on this rom again, whichever device I get, this device should get our rom even if I am not the maintainer for it.
I got the note 3 from best buy for $150 bucks.. not bad i say

Radioshack has an online price of $300. Just ordered mine yesterday. You have to call the number listed for the price though, they don't list it on the website. Not on the mobile site anyway.

Some of your going to be disappointed but I got the LG G2 the Galaxy Note 3 wasn't on sale the Galaxy Note will eventually get baked but we're taking one step at a time and right now there's issues with the CM 11 nightlies. Galaxy Note 3 is behind on open-source should receive updates within the next couple months

Have you missed any calls with the galaxy note 3? Only time i miss calls on the G2 is when i dont answer them, also could depend on where you live too, i know when i would go out of the city with the nexus s 4g i was delayed to get my messages

Did you even read that yourself? The problem is not Triband LTE devices, but rather that the Sprint network is not currently upgraded enough in all places that currently have LTE.

Note 3 has no problem getting calls in Phoenix while on lte and the LG G2 and nexus 5 etc have lots of problems . Plus say you are downloading a 1.7 gb rom and get a call on a LG G2 it will fail because it disconnects you from lte to re connect to cdma ... When sprint upgrades all towers to circuit fall back it will still suck to have only one path for data voice etc .... I used LG G2 for a week and gave it to my nephew . I am not saying it's not a good phone but on sprint right now it's not a good phone

I agree with you somewhat on the previous statement but also the download just pause on incoming call and then you could resume it later so it would still pick up where you left off biggest problem I have is trying to get baked fully working because the CM 11 nightlies are not fully there yet and that has to do with the switching of bands so on the cm 11 nightlies you can't make a phone call or send mms on LTE yet
