Freedom Keyboard on CM7 - Motorola Droid X2

I'm currently running CyanogenMod 7.2.0-RC1 X2 BETA -- everything is good, except I'm not able to use the Freedom Universal Keyboard2 anymore. Neither HID nor SPP method works, and I've tried just about all the BT keyboard apps in the Play Store.
Is there something I'm missing? I had this working when I was running the stock ROM.

I had the same issue with Swiftkey. Never did get it working.

Netflix no longer works

Netflix was working wonderfully well, especially on CM7, but now it no longer works and the market app doesn't appear (I was told that it no longer does a device check).
I found a link:
http://www.mediafire.com/?4xwncz7doz475tj
That works on some phones (my droid-x for example) but doesn't work on my Optimus-V
Anyone have a work around for this?
Found the answer:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1076150
The first file in the link works on my Optimus V.
Netflix broken again
Netflix has not worked since they "upgraded"
Has anyone else gotten Netflix to play?

[Q] Best versatile build.prop Market Fix?

As I go through yet another build.prop market fix, I can't help but wonder: is there a build.prop market fix (or any kind of fix) that gives you the best of both worlds (all 2.x and 3.x apps are visible in the market, working Flash Player, runs 3.x apps and maybe even Netflix)? If not, anything close to it (I can live without running 3.x apps)?
P.S. - If possible, I prefer to stick with Froyo/2.2 since the display quality and video playback & hardware acceleration performance has been superior to 2.3.x and 3.x ROMs in my experiences so far.
HTC Vision gets Netflix good for GB. I also don't notice anything missing from the market. Guess you could use vegan 5.1.1 and throw in the Netflix patch and then mod build.prop and see what happens. Breaks YouTube app by the by but browser viewing still works peachy.
You can't run 3.0 (Honeycomb) code on 2.3 (Gingerbread) or 2.2 (Froyo).
No build.prop will ever give you that.
The build.prop is the properties of your build....ie what OS, manufacturer, some basic settings and such. Edits of it may allow you to see certain things in the Market but seeing them doesn't mean they will install or run.
If you want Netflix (and now Hulu Plus), CM7.03 stable is your best option. It also sees nearly everything that will function on the tablet in the Market.
I miss nothing from VEGAn5.1.1 now that I'm on CM7.03. I've gained a ton (better stability, WiFi location services, better market (no fixes needed) access, Netflix, etc...
I keep hearing CM 7.0.3 is the best option. It still doesn't have native Nvidia drivers, correct?

That's correct, but they did add in some hardware acceleration code of their own to improve video playback. It's not perfect, but most videos seem to work pretty well for me.

Worked like a charm... except [modded/patched] Netflix doesn't play video for me (it looks like its going to play, shows play/pause and seek control but goes back to the main screen almost immediately). No biggie, I rarely watch Netflix anyway.
I see everything in the market and all the T/HD games actually run. Thanks!
You can clear app data for netflix from manage apps then fix permissions with cwm. This fixes a lot of Netflix issues (chipmunk, slo-mo, bad banding)

Did you just change the device to HTC Vision? Or did you copy a complete build.prop from somewhere? Link?
Thank you!
I just changed it to HTC Vision in build.prop. Netflix also works now (from the Market).

[Q] [cm9] Nook tweaks app

I just updated to ics build!!! its working gr8 most of my apps works gr8 but sound setting on nook tweaks is not working!!! it force closes every time i tried to use it!!! other option works like overclocking and everything else except sound setting!!! any idea what goin on???
thanks to all the awesome devs for making it possible to run ICS on my nook!!! i can now brag to my friends about having ICS device running on my car as entertainment center!!! thank u all so much!!
well considering that Nook Tweaks was not designed for ICS, I would Not expect everything to work perfectly.
That being said I'm using Eyeballers build with OpenGL and I'm not having this issue. his builds can be found here http://techerrata.com/browse/nightly_kangs/encore
keep in mind that ICS on the nook is still very early in the beta stages and a lot of things will not work or not work as intended.</strike>
Update NVM I can open the audio menu but trying to go into the sub menus cause the app to freeze. Just goes to show you ICS is not ready for a Daily driver yet. still lots of work to be done.
Thatz what i thought too....i use my nook color for music and other stuff in my car and that boost on sound would be really good!!!
Looks like the audio boost functionality requires some hooks in the kernel before it can actually do anything. I'm slowly teaching myself this stuff but if I get a chance I will take a look this weekend to see if there's any way to port those parts of the gingerbread kernel over to ICS

Running current Crackle TV 4.0.3 on CM11 Nightlies...

Not sure how many people use Crackle TV on their Nook's or if this fix has been discovered yet.
I thoroughly enjoy watching the older TV series as well as some of the older movies they offer and it's one of my primary apps always installed on my Android devices.
I installed CM11 2/2/14 Nightly and the Crackle TV app would not allow me to download via Google Play due to incompatibility. I tried the older version 2.3.8 which always seems to work, but could not get it to work. Would continually force close when attempting to open.
I backed up the current 4.0.3 apk from my non-rooted Motorola Razr M using ES File Explorer (again non-rooted), zipped the file and saved it off. Copied the file over to the Nook Color, unzipped it and installed it. Installation went fine, and the app ran successfully, but when I tried watching video, it would shake and stutter and was unstable to watch.
After tweaking different settings in Developer options, I tried Disable HW overlays (Always use GPU for screen compositing) and Crackle now works perfectly. :victory:
Thanks a lot for this tip. For the last couple years my Nook has been mainly used for watching TV shows and movies on Netflix, Hulu+, and now Crackle. Yesterday I finally upgraded to CM 11 from CM10 and its awesome. My Nook hasnt run this well since the Gingerbread days.
I took then crackle apk from my Nexus 7 and worked perfectly.

Anyone Use Slingbox?

I purchased the Slingbox application and I cant get the video to work on either the Axxion or Slimkat Rom. It worked with CM. Any thoughts on what the problem could be? It works fine to my laptop.
