[AOKP] AOKPCB R2 (+Nightlies) - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

I want to begin this by saying I am in no way affiliated with Team Broccoli. Nor am I responsible for any damages or problems that may occur with your TF201 by using this rom.
I have been using this rom for a while now and i must say it is incredibly smooth, gaming works brilliantly and it has all the custom features I've come to love using AOKP on my other devices.
For the downloads head over to their Mini Site and download either R2 or their latest "nightly"

yes but this rom has more to it than just the theming on aokp. See their site for more details

thanks, i will be trying this on out for sure.

I hope this is not a noob question but I don't see if there are any problems with the rom enough to make it a daily (I use it for school/notes)

It is completely stable if you ask me. I used it for about a week and had no problems. The battery life is great too. It's basically AOKP and Jermaine did a really thorough job of making it the first non-stock rom to be totally stable.

I think its outrageous that Jermaine hasn't been given credit in the original post. This seems like a slap in the face, in fact. Kudos for a new rom, but credit where credit is due.

I don't think this thread was started by Team Broccoli. It looks like the OP just cut and pasted from the ROM's website, which does credit Team AOKP as the source of this ROM. I don't believe any disrespect were meant towards any of the AOKP's devs.

Damn, no ****! I have followed Jermaine for months and have seen how much time and effort he has put into AOKP for the Prime. I am a little disappointed there is no mention of him anywhere!

I think it is outrageous, that people obsess about crediting a guy noone was willing to defend when he was being banned and kicked out for no apparent reason. I know that mods have their reasons, still this is ridiculous.
I for one, am really glad to see another aokp rom on xda. Have been using aokp since first release for tf201 and now this build seems even more stable and fluid to me. THANKS TEAM BROCCOLI, THANKS JERMAINE! <-------see this is how you give credit... the OP is not the only one who should.
Before aokp i was ready to give up on my tf201 as a device for work and i actually bought a notebook as i rely on a portable device professionally. Now I can take my tf201 with me again, instead of a clunky laptop without being embarrassed by it's lousy stock firmware. I am an assistant director at a performing arts theatre and i need to quickly change and edit texts, play samples (mikrosonic spc!!! Its great) in rehearsals and research on youtube/the web. So the tf201 is an ideal device, if stable.
Edit: oh yeah, jermaine also didn't create aokp nor is he involved in the creation of aokpcb. All he did was port and maintain another compile of aokp. Team broccoli build their aokp from source aswell,so why would they credit him? Please ppl, read up on what open source means, what licenses there are, the definition of kanging, maybe also about different rom cooking methods before bashing posts.

If you feel that I have not provided adequate credit please feel free to report this thread or contact Scar45 for me. I have neither the time nor the inclination to argue over who deserves credit and who does not. Jermaine works with Team Kang and Team Kang is credited in the OP, as far as I know he has not had any special role in producing AOKPCB that would merit special credit outside the umbrella of Team Kang.
I have no affiliation with Team broccoli or Team Kang. That said i merely copy and pasted Scar45's OP from another of his threads.
Please refrain from turning this into a flame thread and keep it on topic. Discuss any issues or problems with the rom. What you like dont like. If you must complain about giving credit then feel free to use the above channels or pm me direct.
- Cheers

This has to end. All has said their peace. Thanks OP for sharing this.

New AOKPCB User
Hello AOKPCB Fans,
I finally got around to installing this ROM on my tf201. Overall great ROM. However there is 1 thing that is bothering me at the moment. I do not like to have sounds on key-press however I enjoy having the haptic feedback for that "I pressed a button" feeling. The problem is I can barley feel the haptic feedback, it too low. I also cannot find where the settings are to adjust it.
Another question, what launcher are most of you using with this ROM? AOSP launcher or Apex launcher?
Thanks,

Ive never used haptic feedback personally but upon investigation it does seem to be broken, ill shoot Scar45 a pm about it, as to the launcher, i prefer APEX but im really just waiting for Chameleon to drop.

i have to say i am really digging this rom. been running it pretty hard since this morning and i have not found one isue.
i have been going back and fourth between apex and tsf shell launcher.
i am starting ti like tsf alot. it takes some time to get use to it.
lots of custom stuff.
i love that you can add more nav buttons and have them all do a second comand. one of my favorite things is you can choise to hide the nav bar automaticly in a full screen app.
i used the stock browser for bout 2 hours stait without any isues at all, big plus.
the only thing i havnt done is gaming on it. will do some gaming tomorrow and report back.
if you are thinking bout trying, please do.

I feel like a broken record asking this in every thread, but is there any chance a wireless gamepad (logitech f710) will work on this? I can only get it to work on stock based but I want aosp.
Hopefully Ill get some time to install and test, but I'm hoping someone will figure this out. Thanks.

[ROM] MinimalX

Due to recent controversy of this ROM, I have decided to halt development until I get the more important things settled in my life. Mostly finishing up with summer semester. Id also like to give "due" credit to the original devs of tell chinese ROM. I did use their ROM as a base for initial quick release to please X2 users. The files were highly modified to meet our needs, which indeed entitles it to my custom work... but to clear any possible arguments, I'm posting this so it is the first thing you read, and all is fully understood! As for future releases of minimalX, there is not a single trace of the Chinese ROM remaining. After the initial release, I did a system dump and started from scratch, just keeping the ideas of the original ROM and copying over modifications I had made. I hope this clears everything up.
Thanks to all those who have supported my development. This is a little ridiculous that I am having to do this, but I hope this nullifies any arguments of those who are not contributing to X2 development.
Release version GAMMA 3.0 finally released! See below for download. Sorry, I don't have to release details just yet. Edit: Removed for modifications. It didn't seen compatible with others devices.

*Disclaimer* This is a beta build of this ROM. It is mostly stable, but hasn't been thoroughly tested by anyone but myself. I decided to release it publicly due to the lack of current ROMs for users to flash. I expect general feedback based up what is currently in the ROM and what I can do to improve it. For legal reasons, flashing this ROM is based on your own decision, if it causes any mishap with your phone, feel free to message me and I will work with you to fix it, but I am in no way responsible for anything you do.
Not a whole lot of time to type this up -- I plan on editing when I have more time and as the build progresses.
This ROM is mostly debloated. Some bloat is left for general function of the phone. I tried to leave any bloat application that applies function to the phone that is otherwise inaccessible. This makes it an awesome base ROM for anyone who wishes to develop.
There are also many edits to system files such as the build.prop, apks, framework, etc. These edits are mostly performance based enhancements, but there are some visual changes as well. I plan on continuing the theme on this ROM based on user input. I may also consider converting back to stock theme and allowing flashable themes for those who wish to have more options. Themes that have been previously created for the Droid X2 (so far, I believe there are a total of three posted at XDA) should be flashable over top of this ROM, but I am making no guarantees. Also added is a sleep mode (accessed by holding power) which lowers power consumption, and turns off wireless signal -- The device is able to be accessed again by holding power. In general, it allows for maximum battery conservation compared to turning off the device.
TLDR;
Bloat removed
System edits
Framework edits
Much more...
In future updates, I plan on doing what you, the consumer, wants to happen. Firstly, I plan on cooking SuperCharger into the ROM. And hopefully, in the near future, I can figure out how to overclock this beast.
As for performance, this ROM runs great. I average around 3000 in Quadrant and in AnTuTu Benchmark, I average around 4750.
This ROM is optimized for performance, but doesn't lack on functionality. I hope you all can find great use of it and enjoy the work I have done.
Instructions:
Gain SuperUser access by rooting your device via Gingerbreak.apk
Install recovery
Move ROM (.zip) to external SD card
Boot into Recovery using the APK
[optional] Clear Data/ Factory Reset
[optional] Clear Cache
Choose Install .zip from SD
Choose SD card
Navigate to the ROM (.zip)
Confirm install
Reboot once installation is complete
When rom boots, be sure to firstly make your default keyboard something other than "Moto input method" (explained later)
Enjoy!
I plan on adding more detailed instructions at a later date...
Known issues:
User must change keyboard away from "Moto input method." This keyboard was removed from the build, but hasn't had all traces cleared yet. It will not appear due to most of the structure and APK being removed.
Charging battery animation is default
Browser search function is faulty. To fix, please install Google Search from the Android Market.
Please let me know of any additional issues you run into!!!
Otherwise, enjoy your DROID X2!

Lastly, I develop for fun, but if you feel it necessary, donate to the cause.
Actually, we could make this into a fun drinking game. My 21st birthday is August 1st. I plan on getting $**t housed all day and all that weekend. If you donate, before August 6th, your donation funds will go strictly towards alcohol. If you donate, feel free to message me with what you wish for me to purchase with that given cash (note: if you want something specific, please donate that specific amount, otherwise, it'll probably go towards some PBR). I'll try to take pictures of the drinks before and after (depending on how wasted I am) and I'll message those who donated, or anyone who requests, with what kind of damage was done. Haha, I have some experience under my belt, so, don't take it easy. This should be fun.
Happy Android-ing to everyone!
May the Droid X2 prosper!
This post is not subject to perfect grammar; no one really cares. Enjoy the ROM!
Congratulations on the release of the first custom rom for DX2!

Taking screen shots as we spea.... type. There aren't a whole lot of visual changes, just minor ones. They are the last thing I decided to tweak before releasing. I wanted to get it out tonight, so, I stopped editing for the time being to release.
I hope everyone enjoys!
After posting these screens, I'm calling it a night. Any issues will be addressed immediately tomorrow.
Gratz on the first custom rom!!! I can't wait to get my dx2 to get in on the awesomeness of its community!!!

Updated first post with screenshots. As stated, the development of visual changes is very minimal at the moment. I wanted more input on whether or not the community wanted the default + flashable themes, or it to come already themed.
Thanks!
Sweet! Now I'm starting to not want to switch phones. Flashing this soon. Too bad I wasted time in UOT making a theme cause this BLOWS it out the water
This is a great way to end the day! Downloaded and will be flashing after I make a backup of my current setup... Can anyone confirm if exchange is included and working as I need it for work... Can't be without it...
THANK YOU.

Has anyone flashed this without wiping data/cache? Just curious, as I did a full wipe and flashed it and none of my apps came back.

first off: GREAT JOB to the dev..so far it seems like the DX2 is made for custom roms (being that the stuff moto has put out is ****ty). Thank you for being the first!
my request: Can someone theme this to look like VANILLA android? the things that irk me most about blur are the lock screen (ugly), icons (camera, messaging, etc [also ugly], the status bar (ugly)...im sure im not the only one who feels this way, if someone could be so nice as to make a vanilla theme, i am sure many others like me would greatly appreciate it!! thanks again dev

Im with you.
Although I am satisfied with the performance of the phone as a whole, I would live to get rid of the blur blue and grey and have the stock feel - even if it was only cosmetic for the time being.
The only thing I would definitely keep is the motor keyboard. It really is the best I've used on an android phone so far.

[Q] Is it time to port HTC Sense to SGS III ?!

Hi All ,,
A. Why HTC sense ?!
1- It's a thought and developers may give it a chance
2- I'm talking about a fully functional launcher with all the widgets very well implemented and displayed.
2.1- Enjoy watching this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sfRaWBgWao
2.2- Enjoy these pictures !!!

B. Why SGS III ?!
1- It's has a quad core processor along with the same system partions like HTC devies.
2- We have the kernel code resources released which might help.
3- It will be the most incredibly fascinating combination of the best software inside the best hardware ever ?!
Do we have anybody trying to HTC sense 4.0 to non HTC devices specifically Samasung ones ?! The answer is Yes see below ;
http://www.sense4all.nazuka.net/?cat=8
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1657050
C. What we need from end users / thread quick repliers ?!
1- If you support this idea by any means you are welcome to post your comments .
2- If you don't support this idea and have no positive comment's kindly please don't flood this thread with discouraging words.
3- If you are a developer ( Unlike me ) who knows what are the obstacles and difficulties that may arise in doing this project which make commencing it is a futile idea please and please write in details what can't be done by you, who knows, may be somebody can help to solve it.
Thanx and PEACE
I really love this TouchWiz. It's pretty snappy and feels very premium to look at. I only hoped it had some transition effects. Haven't tried Sense though.
I would really love to have htc sense on the sprint samsung galaxy s2.

Yeah,,, Samsung had improved TouchWiz a little bit but IMHO the powerful hardware and the weather widget made the huge difference but essentially still you can say it's just a normal launcher nothing of a big interest in TouchWiz.
Now just have a look on HTC sense especially version 4 and you'll probably get to know what real launcher development looks like !!!!

You touch a deep bleeding wound inside me
No one on SGS II forums is actually willing to start porting HTC sense or even think about ( Except Swamp Goblin who has not shown any interest lately may be he is busy or I don't really know ).
Hopefully somebody their will take the challenge and try to do it
Will it seems we need to wait for Teamhacksung to release CM9 for S III for devs to start porting

there is a chance of this but it will be hard cos sense is kinda in a affair with the cpu if you can break it up then maybe btw i also saw that a dev said is was impossible we will try(im not a dev but i have a few mates on rootwikiz

If you have willing developers why not to recruit them to achieve this great project. Believe me it is at least doable ,, Sense for all team got it working on Nexus S devices although it is a single core processor and the resolution is much much lower. Now Qube2 is willing to help but he is waiting for CM9 which will be the best rom base to strt with. Kernel developers also needed and hopefully they will be got attracted to such a project.

Sense always has and always will be this ugly bloated stain on Android
I really don't get what people see in it, it's just UGLY, and it's slow and buggy, even the videos praising it you can see it slowing down the OneX or being unresponsive from time to time. Seriously HTC should have called it quits on Sense years ago

Firstly and at last it's a user preference, I've tried it on HTC one X it it's buttery smooth especially when developers boosted it's performance kernel wise as well as launcher wise. Check the HTC one X forum and see how tremendously they have optimized it .
Apart of from that HTC from porting is really a challenge that developers may get excited to take and experience.
IMHO, HTC SENSE UI is the best ever called UI with all the beautiful Widgets and social apps implementations.
Hopefully starting working on this will be soon.

Have no doubt that you will achieve a huge effort on HTC from porting

I was just thinking. If you want Sense then why not just buy the One X?
It's not like it's a terrible phone or something.
I had it for a month, but come on both hardwares are almost incomparable especiall the screen type. Now just check the performance and you will see S 3 is far a head.
It will come.
I just can't wait till CM9 that way we get Sense 4.0 on this beast.
Touchwiz is the biggest abomination inflicted on vanilla android, its awful looking, unintuitive, and simply does alot of things worse than stock ICS on my old Galaxy Nexus did.
At least HTC have tried to go the right way, and limit customisations to areas that can do with improvement, and not include anything thats alot worse than stock. The TW4 launcher is fugly, the folders implementation is Samsung giving ICS **** folders we haven't seen since Froyo on stock.

It's absolutely time to port Sense over. I'm not purchasing another HTC, SGS III has the edge. Perhaps porting Sense 4.0 over before the Official US launch could spark interest and more development.

I'm not a fanboy, would love to experience sense 4.0 on my GS3
OP, you started threads about this for for the SGS2 without success.
Because of this, I see no reason at all why you don't just buy a HTC device.
If you're so desperate for Sense, just do it.
The SGS2 never got Sense and that's a year old - why do you think the SGS3 - one week old - will get it ported??
If sense is slow on one x, imagine it on a device not optimized ..why do people tend to make **** ****tier than it is?
I agree with the post above..you bought sgs 3 because you thought maybe it had sense? Why do you keep buying phones with touchwiz?

This WAS a ICS De-Sensed Rom based off of the latest ICS Global OTA. It is now however based off of my latest INFECTION 2.5 CM 4.2.2 rom
This was created because XDA member localceleb wanted a rom to use JUST for tethering yet still needed to be able to make callls, receive texts, and surf the web.
THAT'S IT.
This rom would be best suited as a bootmanager/side load rom to be used simply for tethering (but still able to receive calls and messages just in case someone needs to get a hold of you!)
Please note... There is NOTHING left in this rom. This is not built for practical everyday use! So do not expect a whole lot of support for it. It was designed as bare as possible for tethering purposes.
If you don't agree with me then you will die.
For you tweakers out there that want to build a rom (FOR YOURSELF, NOT FOR POSTING on the forums) this rom is a perfect base for you to add in the missing elements you miss. Just grab a cm-10.1 build of the latest Global and have at it with 7zip.
Miss having a calendar? pull Calendar.apk and CalendarProvider.apk from it and drop it into the same folder of your base rom. Done. same goes for most apps you're missing.
Additionally, I have done a few tweaking to this rom for battery life and network speed.

Curses. a Rom I wish I could run if I still had the Rezound lol. Well done neo on some amazing work.
Just a quick compliment
Neo,
Just wanted to give a shout out to you for all the hard work you're doing in putting out your latest ROMs. It's awesome that you're putting something out there for everyone (whether they're Sense fanboys or like the more ASOP look/feel). Looking forward to your next few updates!

Wow I've truly never seen anything like this be done. Absolutely genious. This is a super smart way of getting insane battery life, I might just have to try this with my thunderbolt when I get my rezzy back and the bolt gets returned into a wifi hotspots only device.

THANK YOU
I wanted to take a moment to Thank all those who have donated since I've started pushing roms for the rez a few months ago. I also appreciate the many of you who have spent their time answering several of the questions within my threads that have literally saved me LOTS of time from having to do it myself even though I try to stay as active as I can with the questions in all my threads. You guys rock!
I have modified the OP to reflect those donators as I feel they should be recognized. If you see your name in the list and it is NOT your xda id, please by all means pm me with your member id and I will correct the op in all 8 of my threads.
As a reminder to all, I create these roms for the community without any expectations from any of you. There is NO COST involved on my part to make these roms. Remember that nothing is required of you to continue receiving updated material and to enjoy my work.
Thanks again to all,
-Neo
Missing?
Where is Neo?
Where has he gone?
Has someone kidnapped him?
No.. He's simply been focusing on work while at work
I've been away due to recent illnesses, a feared brick tablet that I now have running in prime condition once again, and lots of busy projects/busy non android related work.
Tomorrow I will have an Android day but I can't guarantee release of anything or whatever.. but it will be my android day
I've decided that after the release of the NeoMAX and Adrenaline sense-less updates and possibly (but not likely) updates to Sense roms Simplistic and INJECTION, that I will be going on an indefinite hiatus for continued development to those roms. Furthermore, I will be releasing roms less frequently to ICS AOSP version roms RAGE and AOKP (but not pausing development)
My primary focus on both the roms and in thread help will be more towards Jelly Bean development ie INFECTION, TRON-Umbrella, & TRON although I will be tending to RAGE ics from time to time as I consider it to be the most stable of all my aosp work (we all need a little stability form time to time).
There will however be an update between tomorrow and next week for RAGE as I realized in my ill state at the time that I'd left out a few key mods that were present in other versions which left me kicking myself for not remembering them. Thus, 1.9.7 will be born soon.
I'll keep you guys updated on my progress and let you know what I'm up to when the time comes. I just wanted you all to know that I'm confirming a shift of focus to those 4 roms and any cutting edge development.

Looking good
I'm very pleased to see it up and running. Good Work bill.
Btw, what gapps do we flash?
I did the one from goo.im for cm10.1 and voice search wont work
For those curious, here is my basic overview thus far;
I've been running it for just over an hour roughly and its fairly bug free (minus the wifi and bt)
Camera works great, minus the preview, which i still never figured out why it wouldn't work, you will just see a white screen, guesstimate where you are pointing. =P
Minor transition stutters, nothing major, just slightly more noticeable then on the 4.1.2 rom (give it time im sure it will improve)
I love the 4.2 feel, and all of the 4.2 features are working smoothly.
Overall, this a damn good place to start, You can tell when you flash this rom, bill put a lot of time and work into this, considering this is the first release, and it is so bug free.
Personally, i will be returning to PAC, as it is my daily driver, but im looking forward to what cm10.1 is bound to bring to our phone.
Thanks again Bill

Voice Search is a bug I still need to work on. I was really working hard on the storage issue...in the end, it was an edit that came from the Capitivate Glide that fixed it...LOL
Of course, either by some edit that CM added in or one of my edits, I broke wifi (it was working in earlier builds. I'm trying to revert some of the edits to try to get it working again).
This is probably the 100th build of CM10.1 that I have done, so yes, there has been a LOT of time put into it. BT will be a bit of a pest to fix, but I am sure I can get it done. I already know the edit for the Camera preview, but I can't get it to build when I institute the edit...which is really odd. I'm still working on it.

Alright, yeah, i wasn't sure if it was just the gapps, or if it was a problem you knew about. Im glad you got the storage thing worked out, haha, i was getting desperate, found that rom i linked to (cm10 thread) that used 4.1.2 partitioning for 4.2
See, thats a problem i have when i was trying to work on the apks for the rom i put on hold. Its working just fine in the first one, but when i fix another part thats completely unrelated, it breaks the first. LOL. I feel like Wile E. Coyote trying to catch the roadrunner at times.
Holy Mother of ****. lmfao. In bow before you and your dedication. I feel if i was in your shoes i probably would have thrown my machine out of frustration.
As far as the camera preview goes, are you just recompiling the app with the edit, or are you building it from source and then adding the edit every time?

The partition scheme is actually a step back to the old /mnt/emmc and /mnt/sdcard from ICS days . I found that it worked well on a few devices, but was having issues with emmc not showing up, as improper permissions were being indicated. I finally searched EVERY Tegra 2 device that had a 4.2 build to see what I could get working. The Captivate Glide had one that I hadn't tried, so what the hell, I figured. When it booted and I saw everything working, I almost cried
Yeah...I know what you mean about the fix one break another. Only issue is that since I was only checking storage, I don't know which edit broke wifi...lol. Could even be something that CM added in when they initiated wifi tether support...lol
Believe me...there were times when I looked at the Photon and considered it's aerodynamic properties and whether it could fly and how far...lol
I've tried both. Each way, I get the strange lot of errors...lol
Is wifi supposed to be working? I'm can turn it on and off but it never finds any networks nearby.

I forgot to put that wasn't fully working in the OP.
I'm gonna guess and say any issue with 4.2 gapps is due to this (via RootzWiki):
Does not include non-NEON libraries, as there have not been any non-NEON devices (Tegra and Tegra 2 devices such as the Motorola XOOM) which have received 4.2, and the 4.1 libraries are not compatible with 4.2.

We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. Support
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

Hey folks.
None of this would have been possible without the hard work of @crpalmer - he got the device started on CM, and did 99.999% of the hard work for this device bringup!!
I have done some basic tests - it boots!
The stock keyboard seems to be missing a lot - I'm sure installing an alternative will solve that issue. I'm also getting a lot of FC's from Google Keyboard.
CarbonFibers is not happy, going to look into that.
Should be on par with CM. Let me know what you find!
Thanks for developing for this device, will flash when I get a chance.

Well I suppose if you are comparing to stock, yes, it does "remove" multi-window...
Just remember, this ROM is not based (loosely or otherwise) on any Samsung ROM. It's built from source AOSP base with patches from all over the place.
Makes me wonder where Omni left off with their multi-window. I haven't been following it lately.
Thanks so much for the time and work you put into this. I love seeing more roms for this great device!

Yeah I assumed it did, I wish I could run a nice feature rich rom but I use multi window probably 80% of my time on this tablet. I almost always have YouTube on one half and chrome the other like right now haha. Wish there was a way to keep it or an alternative but thanks anyways.
Luckily my nexus 5 feeds my rom itch nicely. For now I'll just stay with CleanROM.

Dear @arrrghhh I am not a developer, but I have a little guess as to what might be causing the FC's on the google keyboard. The keyboard learns the user style and way of writing (if you see the T it has many settings that are probably intefering with the absence on Knox.
I'm excited about Carbon for this device, but seeing that there's been no activity in the thread for over a week has me wondering if something is wrong with it. I'm using cm 11 right now and it's very stable if lacking in features.

CarbonFibers has a FC issue which has been resolved... but some of the customizations are still lacking because the CF app isn't really setup for tablets at the moment... so the experience is a bit off. I didn't see the value in updating until the issue is completely fixed, as most of the reason to run the ROM is in that area .
That makes sense. I'll follow the thread for updates. This is the closest ROM to SlimKat, which is my favorite.

Nope, I have no intentions of doing a slim build. I was trying that to sanity check that I had things configured well enough to make it easy for people to use the CM device tree to build other ROMs.
I had it booting and working reasonably well except that there were external sdcard problems (at the very least the lack of exfat support).
I do think I had to cherry pick missing commits into a few slim repos but I have forgotten what that was.

Ah ok. I'll roll a SlimKat build too, see how that runs... I haven't really seen any of these on a tablet, so it's kind of interesting to see the difference. Carbon, at least CarbonFibers definitely has some work to be done for tablets.

I wonder if SlimKat will have better luck, since it doesn't centralize all of its features into one thing like Carbon Fibers. I think they just added the 2014 Note 10.1 as officially supported. I have no idea if there's any similarities between that and our Tab Pro or if that would help even if there were.

It's definitely a bit quirky - and the issue with CarbonFibers is still present... but Bluetooth works great, so my builds of Slim must be missing something else outside of the device tree...
Great Rom
Just flashed new build. Works great so far. Thanks for the work.
So is this ROM finished now where there are no more updates going to be done?
