I am suffering from an unusual problem with my Samsung wave s 8500...i think some of other guys are also suffering from same this problem....After installing alpha Android froyo on it my mobile screen brightness suddenly became so weak and colors became so dull and total screen became dim.. i tried to flash original bada firmware and many other firmwares but still that dull screen problem persist.. if anyone can help out...Thanks !

I tried to turn on both MDNiE tuning setting and MDNiE HW mode...but still not working for me...still no sharpness...dull sober colors..

Hey Rebellos..Thanks buddy...After few time now my screen colors looking cool..i turned gamma also on...and now its looking nice...not as it was orignaly but this time it looking so colorful and more better then previous situation...

something strange is happened to my phone lately.
when the screen is off and turned on i see my screen with green tint for a split second sometimes more.

i use the voodoo color but the values i am using haven't changed to be safe
i tried the alt. Settings recommended by the developer still same problem
i tried both kernels , Netarchy and Matr1x same problem
i am using SETCPU with on demand scaling 400-1200MHz
any idea for the reason ?

My Galaxy S2 screen starts to look like photo negative occasionally. It would be mostly black. This gets resolved after a reboot. Has anyone faced this issue before?
I am on VK ROM 5.1.2 with siyah 3.3.2.
With the Siyah kernel pressing the home button 4 times inverts the screen colours.

Initially, I thought there was some hardware issue with my screen and thought of taking it the service center after reverting back to stock ICS ROM.
If you use recent builds of Siyah, you can turn this feature off in ExTweaks.

I was looking for some help/advise on a way to fix my stock browser on my GT-i9100 running ICS XWLP7
When I go into the stock browser regardless of the setting my display is too in Setting/display/brightness it instantly gets a lot brighter.
So I change to low power saving mode through the settings of the browser and it dims the screen when using browser, great!
However after doing this when exiting from browser back to home screen it's affected my overall display settings not just browser display, weird!
Not only is my overall display now dim and auto brightness in settings/display/brightness is now off but my phone has also gone from a dynamic display to a standard display mode, even though it is checked as dynamic.
When I move between these 2 screen modes now there is no difference at all. Only a reboot fixes it.
Does anyone else have this issue?
Any help, advise, tweaks or mods to fix this would be most welcomed.

The display brightness of the browser is independent of the display brightness of the rest of the phone.

So does this mean that my phone isn't working correctly?
I'm aware that the 2 settings should be completely independent of one another but it's definitely not in my case.
It's weird that it alters the display mode too so Standard and Dynamic are the same after changing browser brightness.
If I don't alter the browsers brightness my phone is fine.
Can some one else try on their phone? I have tried factory reset,wipe cache, flash new firmware etc and nothing seems to help!

I installed night mode app for my xperia u. it reduces the brightnes of the screen and turns off the light strip. However one time, when I used night mode one night, lol, the brightness was reduced, BUT the light bar was still on! I checked all the settings and done all I can, but it was still there. I had to do a factory reset to fix it. I'm worried this might happen again, what do you guys think happened and how to prevent it?

Yeah, I have tried that. But considering to ditch night mode. Do you think night mode caused that issue regarding the light bar?

I have a rooted Android 4.2.2 Stock rom.
Yesterday, I installed Xposed Framework, to customise my android.
All seems to work totally fine but now I am having a problem with my Screen Dimming system..
When I read something on phone or the screen remains on for few seconds. The Screen don't get dim but gets totally off. but if I touches the screen again. It get lit up again.
Please help.
