There is no stock music widget (I would like that as well) and when I press list it starts at the top of all the songs, but I am playing songs from my playlist, it will start from the current song that is playing.

My music will not play continuously. After each song It stops and goes back to the start of the song and waits there. Any else have this problem?

Do you have the gallery set to auto close?
im not having this problem, but i am having a simaler one. I started noticing to today, i was listening to a song and around 30 seconds it started playing another song. then i restarted it and it just stopped at the middle. happened to other songs as well. it gets really annoying. it has done it on 3 music players, including the default.
You need to make sure that the music player, gallery and purchased music are NOT on the auto-end list in the Task Manager.

So there I was, enjoying life savoring a beautiful day, when I notice my phone got the lastest update from Verizon. I'm like about time. I go to play my favorite song via the stock music player (because its awesome) and I notice my player is now jacked.
In the song list if you start scrolling a scroll bar will appear on he right side. If you grab this bar it let's you scroll through the alphabit very quickly. Now when I grab it, it just shows # and doesn't do anything but return.me to the top of the page. Now I domt have time to tap or speak my song in search and with 3000 songs trying to play a song in the lower alaphabit sucks.
Please help me so I can take my player off random and listen to what I want.
No I don't want to use another player, I tried the popular ones already. Phone is stock.
I know you said you tried other alternatives but I heavily recommend you get uber music. Check it out

Hello Guys, There is a problem with my stock music player... When I start the music player for the first time after a reboot or a force close, If i chose the all tracks button and selects one song and want to change to another song I can´t... it dosen´t load the new song at all. Any ides?
And yes I have downloaded a different music player and it worked to 100% but i like the stock one better
Try clearing the data and cache in the music player .

Re-add songs to the library. That will fill the list again and you can skip to the next song.
No clue if the list will survive a re-boot...
The music player also has a bug where if a play list has finished playing and you leave the phone for a while, when you select another song to play it'll start playing a completely different song (one that was played earlier)
It doesn't happen all the time though. Probably about 4 times a day out of 5 hours of music.

I have a bunch of music in the cloud that i want on my android device. Does anyone know how to download them all? because i dont want to have to go through every single song.

I have gone by downloading albums, I don't know of a multi-selection way... Would be good to have that!

Go to play music in your browser
Go to "songs"
Click the first song in the list, scroll all the way down to the bottom, hold shift and click the last song
Click the black corner button of one of the songs and choose "add to playlist -> new playlist"
Set that playlist to be available offline, hopefully that will allow you to select albums, etc in offline mode.

I did this and it showed up on my phone but it still has to download the songs. sadly the songs won't download :/
Well of course it'd have to download them. And maybe you just don't have enough space for all those songs?

There is an option to make the songs available offline straight from the app. If you long press on any album or song there should be an option to "keep on phone." Male sure this is selected.

Tunewiki displays lyrics, although I just got an email from Tunewiki saying it won't be available anymore after June 28. I just installed and it displayed lyrics to music that was playing in Google Music app, but the lyrics didn't scroll in time with the song
