I recently got an EVO 4G LTE device on Sprint, and one of the first things I wanted to do was get a case. I went to CruzerLite, because of their good prices and yet amazing product. The case fits like a glove, and is good protection too..

Actually it has. I used alcohol and magic eraser and nail polish remover, which all helped, but not completely.

cleaning cases
call me crazy but I have always used the foaming shoe cleaner on cases....thats the only thing that works for me!
I ordered the red one last night. Used 'xda' discount code. $11.40 shipped. And it has already shipped! I can't wait. I already have the diztronic transparent black case and I love it. If I like the cruzerlite as much as the one I have, I'll eventually order more cuz I like to switch up like I did for my OG EVO.

Talk about GREAT service. I ordered 3 cases, blk, smoke and red, Wed evening (July 4th). I received an email the next morning sayiny they shipped and I just received them today Sat. Great service and I like the feel of these.
I'm not a fan of these type of cases, but this looks sweet and like it will still keep the phone slim. I ordered a black one just now.

Let me know what you think of the case!
can say I've never been a fan of TPU cases - the ones I've had for my EVO always were bulky or parts were too flimsy. I just got my cruzerlite case in and I really like it. I wish they would have ben the volume rocker with two cut outs to stiffen that part up a bit but it's not as bad as others I've had. I really recommend these.

Has anyone come up with a thin case with a kick stand. I see allot of them availible for Verizon phones and the iPhone but nothing for our phone or any sprint phone.
Something like this .....
Yes know the camera might be in the way partially but i think it can still be done

Hey I work at best buy in the mobile department, look up Platinum series cases, there is a nice black case with a kick stand I use and love it...... If your still looking

This is also the seido (sp) case just rebranded. It looks sharp but the kickstand is actually pretty crappy. It feels solid at first but few months of use, it gets too worn out to support any weight. I'm kind of disappointed. Loved it at first though.

I have been rocking the Seidio hev3d
I have had the Seidio hev3d for about 8 months and it is a great case. Cheap sturdy case and is easy to put on and take off if battery pull is necessary.

I also have that case and been having it for about a year but i droped it once and case craked. It did serve it perpise of not damege my phone but 3 months later itcracked from the power side so now the case its a bit loose on top i am still thinking of bying this case again but i would like it cheper than 30.00 dollars witch i paid at amazon.
Seidio hev3d was what I went with in the end after a long look. Others look tacky and cheap. This isn't the thinnest but definitely the best.
If I do drop my phone, something I have never done and we are going back 12 years or so ! I know that this should keep it in one piece.

so like everyone else I also got the free blue silicone cell phone case for my LTevo in the mail shortly after getting my LTevo. I put it on my phone the day i got it and have not taken it off until today. I noticed when i took it off the silicone gel case made the back plastic part of the phone VERY rough, almost sticky. has anyone else had an issue with this???
I think calling the EVO LTE "LTevo" is lame.

I've been using the blue silicone case since I got it and it has not caused this issue for me. Sorry. You could try going to Sprint and swapping it for the gray Body Glove case the were also sending people.

I got it I'm kind of mad my friend said it made the red look pink lol but I am gonna buy one anyway sprint disappoints with this although a free case is a free case

sounds like there might be some release agent still stuck on the case, wash the thing with warm soapy water and it shouldn't do that anymore.

My brother got one, quite frankly I'm glad I didnt get that version..
I got a gray hard case with a built in kick stand, it if actually pretty nice. The kick stand allows you to stand the phone up 3 ways. I am very pleased with sprint for this, something they didn't have to do they did..that means allot in the days of companies like Verizon charging 300+ for their newest cell phones just because people will pay for it. Sprint only charged $200 then something unexpected happened and they sent their customers a case for the troubles .. That just shows how much they care about taking care of customers.

I don't use cases on my devices usually, but I find myself nervous about dropping my EVO because of how large it is. I'm glad I got the grey one because I might actually use it where if it was blue and sticky silicone I never would.

I couldn't find them anywhere. I was searching for the last 2 days. I ended up trying out the Defender since I couldn't find it. I must say, I'm liking it so far. Not as big as I thought it would be. You just may have to order from Otter if you want it. It seems that no one plans on getting them anytime soon. Good luck

I live in socal I have been searching but no local store have them so I was force to purchase commuter from otterbox.com for my wife and I .. used a code which wasn't much but its better then nothing 5% off 50 and 10% off 70 code:AM2012.. Man I hate putting this phone in a case... It's so sexy and feels awesome... But I am always worried about breaking it... The comuter should be thine enough to work.. If I.dobt like it ill throw it on ebay.

Yeah but no one has the frikken thing. Sprint seems to be sold out. Amazon "Prime Eligible" one is out as well. Had to order it from another vendor. Gotta wait like 10 days to get it. I love Otters tho. Good product t!

It comes with screen protector included, not attached. A lot of people didn't even know one was in the box and never applied it.
So my amazon order said shipped but then last night I get a refund and a letter saying it will not be coming... So I bought one on ebay... Let's see if I can actually get this case..

I think if that happens I'll just go to BB and get the siedio rebranded one (PT)

I was told by someone at the sprint store that they wont be carrying the commuter in black only the defender. it seems really stupid that they would sell the pink version of the commuter and not the black one. that's why its not in any sprint stores at least
I ordered on ebay Sunday and got the case today...very nice for $23 shipped I'm happy.
So iv had the Androidified case from cruzerlite since day 1 and i LOVE it! Cruzerlite went dark on the LTE evo for a while not making any cases for it up until now!

you should contact them saying you forgot to put in the b2g1 code! they are very nice people at the site and would prob put the discount in for you.
So I had a black evo and saw that the white one was announced and today was my last day of my 14 day window to exchange the phone. So I decided to go in and return it and wait a couple days and come back in when the white one was out. When I got to the store I told them I wanted the white evo and the guy was like white evo? And he went in the back and came back out with it and said I guess we just got them I didn't even know we had them so I just went with it and paid the 35 dollar restocking fee. Then I got home and opened it and it looked a little plain so I decided to switch out some parts with my girlfriends black one. And I gotta say I'm stoked on my storm trooper lookin evo. Lemme know what you guys think. And first post on this forum so hello as well lol

Lol! it really is mixed! I put the black aluminum body from hers with the white glass and white plastic and silver kickstand. You can't tell in the pics? It very clearly has the HTC indents on the black unibody and sprint logo. I can take more pics if you don't believe me. And now hers is all the black parts with the silver body and red kickstand. Hahaha case.... :what: And I dunno I got the white and didn't like that the whole aluminum part was silver instead of white I thought the whole thing was gonna be white. But now both the phones look nice imo

Anyways, I personally wouldnt change the back part from the white to black, but i do like the silver edge on the black one though

Mine looks extremely sick in person. I bet that carbon fiber Darth Vader one looks soo dope as well. Id pay for that to be done to my black parts how hard was that?

Not too hard, a precision Xacto knife, some patience, and a little time..... And some vinyl of course. My first one, maybe ya saw it on GoodandEvo.net or here on XDA, ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1683079 ), was swapped for issues with the proximity sensor, but it collected too damn many fingerprints though! I prefer my newest varient anyways. Lol.

But don't be a **** about it.There are million's of cases out there for just as many phones, same as there is a billion places to eat that all serve the same type of food. Everyone make choices based on personal preferences. XDA is about customizations, hardware, software and EVERYTHING in between!! If anyone wants to share here, share ANYTHING they want, they have that right. Do you bash a developer because the ROM they created isn't to your liking?? No, you move on and flash the one you do like, and if you do, then you deserve to be banned from this site and every other like it.
