Transparent Messaging widget?

Does anyone know where I can find a transparent messaging widget or another messaging widget that supports a transparent theme? I want to eliminate a background entirely only leaving the text visible. Thanks!

What launcher do you use? Launcher Pro (paid) has a messaging widget that can be themed just as you say.

Yea.... I know but i'm actually using Widget Locker to create a Meizu M9 replica lockscreen. So that isn't an option.
I'm using this image
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
(but I edited it, like cleared the time and stuff for instance). All I need is something to give the same effect of the messaging popup thing (see orange part). I'm using simple text widget temporarily to fill the space right now to see what it looks like.
If you find an app or a widget you like, throw up a request for someone to make it transparent for you. I am sure some talented sole would oblige if you send them the apk.
Go sms pro widget! try it =)

[Q] Icons too far apart?

Hi everyone,
Anyone else think the icons on the screen are too far apart?
Do any of the ROMs/MODs address this problem/issue?
Use LauncherPro, you can set how many apps/icons you have by the column and by the row. I think ADW does this as well..
Edit: I have mine set to 8 rows & 5 columns, no labels.

Move icons closer together!
Seriously...........I use ADW EX............have columns set to 5 and rows set to 7. You can also scale your icons and icon text with ADW.
Image below will illustrate the distance between icons. I have found if I tighten up the grid anymore, especially in columns, they get too close together.

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

Sick wallpaper! Will you share?
use Go Launcher EX, it's free and has most of the features of LP+ (widget resizing being the biggest)
Regina Launcher also does the trick, plus it has a nice 3D look

Hey guys. This is my very first theme, so it's not too good. Its ported from the epic, but was originally from the fascinate. I do plan to further support this and theme some apps as well. But, first of all, I am going to give credit to the people who deserve it.
MADDOGGIN, who had the theme in his Mod forum for the epic.

Ok, to make everything clear, the widget is a fancy widget (paid app in the market) and the launcher is the touchwiz 4 launcher.
Very sexy. Thanks.

Looks good! Unrelated question, is that a fancy widget or beautiful widget, or something else?

MIUI Style-TencentDesktop- works perfect on Wildfire

Hi all,
I have found the MIUI style launcher , translated from Chinese to English,
tested it on HTC wildfire and it works perfect, tested on CM 7.0.3
except some Chinese words which appear some times in some apps and widgets.
it has themes and wallpapers that you can download online

yeah it comes with an icon pack, but the launcher sucks, it is smooth and all but icons are all over each other lol, its just messy, i tried changing the dpi from 120 to 110 to maybe make it better, nah the app just force closes, so, app looks like crap. its nice if you got a bigger resolution screen tho.
don't change the main theme and it will fit for wildfire screen
or look for themes with square icons.
other themes ( with round icons) icons go over each other.

[REQ] Transparent AccuWeather Widget

Does anyone know where I can find or how to make the AccuWeather clock widget transparent? Some members on the S4 forum made it possible but that was awhile back. Just wondering if anyone came across anything for the S5.
You can adjust the transparency in the stock widget's settings.
Also here's a transparent theme that's pretty awesome:

It's unclear if that was just a nostalgic comment or if you might have missed the point of reply to your query.
For certainty, the stock S5 Accuweather widget has a transparent setting.

Yeah I found out it does, thank you. What I was looking for was what the user above you provided. It's kind of pointless to have a wallpaper and have a widget with a background that takes up 50% of the screen, even if it is "transparent".
I was looking for something that still showed the weather like clouds, rain, etc but was completely transparent. Found it though.
