Dw buddy, I have the Telstra evo 3D which has the same hboot 1.49.0.12 n 1.24.165.2 rom. I just unlocked the bootloader via the htcdev, just make sure do all the steps.
1. [Tutorial] [UNLOCK/ROOT] EVO 3D GSM Hboot 1.49.0011> + S-On [HTC Unlock method]
2. BackUp your rom with CWM
3. Flash a rom that dose not need s-off, i have [ROM] [OCT 10] KingCobra3D 1.4 | ROGERS RUU 1.20.631.2 | STOCK KERNEL via Turge
4. If u have wifi error, you'll need to flash this file http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=710252&d=1315178546 via monx® in CWM recovery

Well I am a NOOB in rooting android ! I was try to root my HTC Wildfire for which I Had to downgrade my HBOOT to 1.02.0001 from 1.02.0002
But somehow I dont know it downgraded to 1.02.0000 .......... Now if anyone of you have any Idea how to get back HBOOT-1.02.0002.PLEASE REPLY .......... or is it possible to root from HBOOT - 1.02.0000?

hello can anyone helpe soff my htc one max sprint im on 4.4.2 on 6.0 sence hboot 2.49 i cant find a custom rom or kernel for my phone and the ones i have tryed to install did not wotk im trying to soff and sim unlock Can anyone please help i can donate anyone who helps me i been trying to do this sence i got the phone in march i have root and my bootloader is unlocked and s-on HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!
