for the peoples who love the Glacier build and dying waiting for MDJ FroYo Glacier v. 2.0 like me, here is a temporary fix for the Camera that make that build more usable without 3rd party camera app.
i guess the problem is that Desire HD's libs and the Glacier's Camera can't reading/writing the right resolution/image ratio setting. So i just patched it to disable the ratio changer and resolution settings to avoid FC.
i am lucky again with my amateur skill and the known bugs are:
- It can take all resolution in wide mode only (ex: 5M 2592 x 1552...)
- Onscreen resolution display is not correct
- The Camcoder can record in MMS mode only
If you want to try please backup your build first
- Start in Android and use Root Explorer to delete these 3 files if exist: /system/app/HTCCamera.apk, /system/app/HTCCamera.odex, and
/data/data/com.android.camera/shared_prefs/com.android.camera_preferences.xml
- unzip my file to get a root folder, place root folder to Android folder on your SD
- reboot
- run the Camera twice and it should work

It is not perfect but i am happy to use Glacier daily now, IMO it is really better than Desire HD build.

m-deejay, do you think this will break the camera fix from this thread?
Edit: I replaced the HTC Camera.apk from the first post with the one that was downloaded from m-deejay's link. Then rebooted. I have verified that the camera and camcorder are both working on m-deejay's glacier 1.0 build. For reference I'm using Hastarin's 8.5.3 standard kernel.
Kudo's to both vua777 and m-deejay for getting these fixes done!!!! This makes the glacier builds useable as a daily driver. Thank you!

Yep, it works without breaking the camera. Only problem is it gives off chipmunk voice when listening to the video.

I believe you you're just using my port of lidroid's toggles and my resources framework (based on lidroid's but I have built a whole new one), it's just that when you press the reboot toggle it will say Simplistic (which is My ROM)

Look,you have so many sense 3.0 roms,but you think you have the best rom,but finally all roms are Sense 3.0.
Maybe a bit modificated,but that was it all.
Or Sense 3.6,more and more Roms getting added,but they are still bassed on the leak,so they are still the same like the leak.
What I want to say is:
It give diffrent Roms,but finally they have all the same basic.

Yes, I use this file, but I don't based at toxic.
I also use systemUI.apk because it have a nice quickpanel icons.
BTW, can you maybe do what i asked about earlier? The default font and lockscreen with camera shortcut?
I serched on xda similar mod but I don't found this.
