Flashed back to stock. Can't setup phone due to processes stopping unexpectedly. - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

As per the instructions found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1313659 I attempted to get back to stock. The process went as smoothly as I could have hoped, except when the phone reboots and the "touch the android to begin" screen shows up, a bunch of processes begin stopping unexpectedly. For example, on my screen right now "com.google.process.gapps" (Google Services Framework, it says sometimes) has stopped unexpectedly. Other processes (one involving "phone" and another "calendar" occasionally fail as well.
My searching has failed me, so at this point I'm not sure what to do. If anyone has any insight, please share.

did you do factory reset in stock 3e recovery?

I don't know how I missed that, but I did. Thanks a lot, everything is better now.

[Q] process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly.

I know there are a few threads related to this issue, but I don't feel that my situation fits into any of the ones discussed.
So after I flashed to the KE2 firmware for O2 phones (mine was PAYG), I started getting 'android.process.acore has stopped working unexpectedly' whenever I clicked on the 'history' tab of a contact. This is the only instance I've ever experienced that specific force close, and I can only reproduce it if I click on the history tab.
My phone is rooted, with typical root-related programs such as RootExplorer, Titanium Backup, JuiceDefender Ultimate, Lookout Security, AdFree. I'm running Touchwiz without any substantial modifications aside from some normal widgets.
I have frozen a few programs using Titanium Backup, but these were all from a list of supposedly 'safe to remove' programs listed here: http://samsunggalaxysforums.com/showthread.php/4811-Safe-to-remove-applications-list
I've already done flashed firmwares 2-3 times and factory reset my phone once due to a reboot loop. Everything else seems to be running perfectly.
Does anyone know what may be causing this, for example a system file I shouldn't have frozen etc? This isn't a huge problem at the moment since I don't really use the history tab at all, but I'm afraid this might have bigger repercussions if I don't figure out what is wrong with my phone.
Factory reset or reflash normal method of fixing .

I found out what was wrong.
I had frozen a service called 'LogsProvider 1.0' using Titanium Backup. Defrosting it solved the problem, and I no longer have any force closes.
I'd therefore like to reiterate that freezing LogsProvider 1.0 will cause force closes if you attempt to view the History tab of your contacts (and possibly other unconfirmed actions).
Thanks for the suggestion anyway, jje.

common error, com.android.mms

Seems this is a common error among android users.
Galaxy S2 4G on Bell
Rooted
For the last 2 days I have read and researched typical problems related to this error message;
"Sorry the application Message (process com.android.mms) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try agaain. Force Close"
I have tried any solution I've found, but am still unable to resolve the issue.
I can only attribute the problem to deleting a few bloatapps, namely Social Hub... as it seems everything went sideways after uninstalling.
Anyway, I have been thinking if I could reinstall Social Hub maybe that would work?
Other then that, I'm open to just about anything. I don't use apps much at all, I want minimal bloatcrap... but have performed a few hard resets in order to return to stock (minus Social Hub however!) only to create a folder to move all the Dross apps, as opposed to uninstalling anymore.
Well long winded, sorry, I have searched quite a bit, and tried many of the solutions provided... if anyone has any ideas, I'd be very appreciative.
Thanks
So after starting fresh I was registering a hotmail account and have received another message;
"Sorry the application Email (process com.android.mail) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force Close"
This happened when I clicked on the "Email" app... I can't even open it, one click... few seconds later error message appears.
I know there are the "walk-thru's" of the hard reset, and resorting back to default... but can anyone explain how to get EVERYTHING back? The apps I uninstalled, are gone... how do I get them back?
Look through a ROM thread or two, they usually have separate downloads for the Samsung apps that they removed from the ROM for those who wish to retain Social Hub, et al. Get yourself up and running and selectively freeze items rather than delete them until you figure out exactly what you need/want.
thanks for the idea, I have actually gone a route along those lines.
I found this thread (androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s2/419294-android-2-3-5-gingerbread-xxki3-update-samsung-galaxy-s2.html) on another board, it updates the phone to Android 2.3.5.
It has resolved all my issues (well so far) and to be honest things seems to look/work a little cleaner.
I'll keep your idea about "freezing" in mind now though as I don't think I will be uninstalling anything for a while. All extra apps are dropped into a Folder to keep them out of sight.
thanks

[Q] Unfortunately, setting has stopped

Hi all gurus, need your helps.
I have just upgraded to 4.1.1 via Kies, XXDLJ1, on I9300.
Whenever I go to Applications Manager, it will has that error or auto exit.
1. I have tried wipe, it is fine, no more issue.
2. I restored all apps from titanium, it comes back
3. I uninstall apps by batch, it turns ok after some number of apps uninstalled. it is not related to particular apps but apps count matter as i tried install n uninstall a different batch of apps, same observation.
4. It always error or exit after i am in the application manager for a few seconds, it seem failed to get apps size successfully counted.
5. I have about 200 apps
Pls help, very frustrated and i tried google for long time but no obvious solution
any tips please?
Same thing with me on Samsung GT-I9300 with Android 4.1.1
I came across this problem 2 times.
The first time it happened when I installed a game "Waking Mars". The game was working fine, I played for around 20 minutes and then wanted to check free storage left after installing. But when I opened Application manager swiping was very laggy and after a few (5-10) secs it crashed with "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped" error or just closed. At that time I didn't know that it was because of "Waking Mars" and started to delete unnecessery applications I installed that day and yesterday, but problem vanished only after uninstalling "Waking Mars". Also, while this app was installed, phone's screen was glitchy and became bleached (the glitch disappeared after rebooting), like when "Natural" screen mode is activated, but it wasn't. When I had tried to install the game again, the problem came back.
The second time it was because of "Galaxy On Fire 2" installed. Same problems appeared: crashing Application manager and glitchy screen.
So I'm pretty sure the problem is because of some exact application, not because of the number of apps installed.
Both games contained their data in ".apk" file, but another Waking Mars version with separate data (cache) caused the same problem too.
By the way, funny thing is that both games are about space
P.S.: Sorry for my English, it isn't my native language.
hi casper1, did you solve the problem? how? same problem here and still persisting, after many many attempts

[Q] My phone seriously messed up itself

Yesterday my phone ran out of battery and it took me a while to get back to my charger. I came back late and I put my phone to recharge over night. I wake up and start my phone and it's like it's never been used before. It has done some sort of reset by itself. All these help popups comes up about how to use slides and motion etc etc. My gmail account is not registered to my phone anymore. I go through my applications and now I start to realize that something is seriously wrong.
Some of my apps are missing on my home screen and when I look for them they seem to be uninstalled, so I try to install these apps again and get the "unknown error code during application install -24" error. This is the case for 3 of my paid applications. Portfolio stocks, swift key and maps with me.
I have more problems though, 50 % of all my apps that are still installed will not even start, like all of my games for example, Every time I try to start one of these I get "Unfortunately, application has stopped" This is also the case for some other apps like skype and spotify. Most of my apps have completely dropped the app settings and information. All my whats app conversations are gone for example and my number isn't even registered anymore.
Some apps still have the icon on my home screen but when I try to start these (like googles for example) it says "application not installed" even though the icon is there.
So as you can tell there some major problem has occurred when my phone turned itself of yesterday.
Now I'm afraid my phone ****ed itself up to much to actually be recovered with is a ***** but I'm wondering how the hell could this happen? What kind of information has deleted itself and why is this possible?
And is there anything you guys think I can do except resetting the whole device. My phone is not rooted and I regret not making backups.....
I have a galaxy s3 I9300 with android 4.1.2
Regards
Victor
factory reset. don't know why it happened

Says "Android is starting..."

So I used the debloat thread to get rid of a lot of things (uninstalling stuff through adb shell). Only problem is I got an error randomly/occasionally that said "Galaxy apps has stopped..." and required me to press a button to get rid of the message. Things were fine so I lived with it, but recently I decided to try and uninstall some more stuff and hopefully get that message to go away.
Now my phone shows my background and says "Android is starting...". It just sits there with a loading bar moving.
I can swipe down the top of the screen and go into settings, then apps, and I can access all my apps, then view on Google Play store.. so I am able to open all my apps just fine, with a bunch of extra steps to get them open. I tested the alarm clock so I can wake up in the morning and it works fine also.
I tried booting into safe mode. I understand I may need to do a factory reset, but I was hoping to avoid going through that.
Any suggestions?
To add insult to injury as I sit here typing this the "Galaxy Apps has stopped" message popped up again! I wasn't even touching my phone lol.
Well, I figured that out.. I must have removed whatever Samsung uses as a launcher. I downloaded another launcher and instantly the "Android is starting" message went away.
Any way to get Samsung's launcher back? I kind of started to like it.. or is there another one you recommend I try?
Reload the firmware via odin
