Energy Rom battery life - HTC Amaze 4G

Am I the only one who has horrible battery life on this Rom.
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G on Energy Rom with S-Voice

No. The newer version drains my battery too. I pulled the 'init.post_boot.sh' out of the previous builds, pushed it and my battery last a few hours longer.

I am having better battery life than ever. Take a look at the batt mod in the Amaze bible or install blast0id tweaks, its built in. I can't say enough good things about energy Rom. I must admit I didn't run it long without the tweaks.

I go from 100% to 80 in a matter of an hour and that's with light use. Also when fully charged it states only 99% never goes to 100%, great Rom my favorite of them all thus far just batter life is a bit off for me and what and where do I get Blast0id looked can't find it ...

Funny, I always did get decent battery and never understood all the complaints. If you shut down 90% of the crap (BT, WiFi, GPS, News twice a day, weather twice a day.........) I could in theory leave the house and make it home.
My problems is I listen to radio at work!
Nice find, will give a try.
It looks like you did not use the phone much that day.
I can probably get two days or more from my Photon if I am not using it
Bu even when I am using it a lot, I get home at the end of a day (around 7:00 PM) with 60-70 percent battery life remaining. I think one of the keys is to used Sep CPU to low power when the screen is off.
good info i'll try

Horrible battery life please

I donĀ“t have a nexus, but everytime you flash a rom, you have to wait at least a week to assess the battery performance. Also, check if you radio / ril are the ones recommended by the DEV for your rom.
Other thing that you can do if your battery drain is still huge is to test a new kernel for your rom...those things usually help, but you gotta give time for the rom, radio/ril to settle.
well you cant not judger the battery performance in just a day ....wait and also if the problm persists . calibrate the battery .......

Carrier IQ?

Does anyone know if the note has CIQ installed? I will not have mine until Sunday to find out... however on my skyrocket before CIQ was disabled my battery life was terrible. Although the battery still is not stellar once I disabled it I get about 3-4 more hours of use a day out of it.
Second question is since carrier IQ is hidden when checking battery usage where do you think the usage is hidden? I charged my skyrocket a few weeks back and never turned the display on for 6 or 7 hours. When I checked the usage it had the display at 41% even though it had not been on more than 30 seconds...
Most likely it is...

What kind of settings are working for you? I'm not really looking to overclock much, more for better battery life without sacrificing speed.
Thanks

Thanks, got it up and running. I just didn't know if I had to worry about the dual processors or anything weird like that.

You're generally not able to overclock with a standard ROM (even with SETCPU), although you CAN underclock to get better battery life. You shouldn't expect better battery life without sacrificing speed as they are inversely related. In other words, higher speed = lower battery life while lower speed = higher battery life.

Possibly the BEST ROM for Battery Life

Running stock Gingerbread ROM (PH85IMG_Ruby_TMOUS_1.36.531.6_Radio_1.07.550L.04DC_30.64.550L.07_release_219373_signed.zip)
Phone is completely back to stock (S-ON, ***LOCKED*** bootloader, etc.)
Up since charged two days ago. Stock OEM battery, too. What do you guys think?
Where's the screen on time and what were you're usage habits? You gotta be a lot more specific than that.

Your screen was practically never on.

It doesen't matter what rom you use, aside from a slight battery savings that can be tweaked, your screen is the biggest battery hog by far. The best thing you can do is dim your screen, with it very dim I've had almost 5 hrs of on time for the screen, average around 2.5-3.
I can also reach 24hrs+ if I keep my screen on for 1 second! /s
The Moderating team is not really a fan of best rom threads because what may be a great rom for one person may not be the same for another because needs and usage will very. So I'm going to close this.
