well, i think you should post the ROM's link in that thread, but if you feel the mods are too slow updating, just ask the mod so you can manage the links for updates

It would actually be a nice idea to switch the threads, as long as you keep a log of all the "utility" threads as well, such as rooting, xRecovery, wifi enabling, JiT enabling and other usefull stuff. Mods wouldn't need to bother themselves with it and the thread could be more up to date Write a PM to the OP of that thread
Yes, there is already the sticky thread with all the basic informations and anther thread on the same subject would be useless, however, any informations are always welcome.
I will copy your post to the sticky thread here and in general and then i will delete this one.
btw, thanks for those infos.
PS: @ everyone, if someone wanna put some other usefull guides, infoes etc, to sticky thread, please contact me and i'll see what can be done.
Thanks.
Done.
Check sticky.

[Q] BLN support for ICS kernel/rom

Is it impossible to add BLN to a ICS kernel/rom? I'll be the first to install a ICS rom with BLN working.
Just wait until Samsung release necessary kernel source code.
You'll know when it happens, because a zillion noobs will each make their own unique thread announcing it.
Not until Samsung release sources. Then the devs will get all excited and go into a sleepless frenzy just to keep us happy.
Edit:
Beaten!
Ok! Sorry. I thought the ICS sources we're released. But the kernel sources aren't included? Too bad.

notify Maclaw pls ;)

Hi all! Please ask in this thread, whether updated firmware MIUI in CM9 base?
thx!sry, my engl!sry, 10 posts ;3
Use PM goddammit. Anyways, MIUI is based on Maclaws work not otherwise so talk to MIUI developers.
MIUI for ace is not made by maclaw. Teamcooper made miui using ICS by maclaw so go tell them
MIUI4 is not updated to beta 7 yet. When it is, it will be posted on the MIUI4 seperate thread. NOT the Maclaw thread.
Do not post on his thread asking about that please - he has already said that.
I don't think nims will be releasing Miui here until it's stable anyway. Blame the noobs who keep asking for eta's and keep on asking about camera -___-

Q&A for Neo V Newbies

Folks, I am not a modder but I have been using MODs for quite sometime. This forum is intended for all newbies out there waiting for their questions to be answered from how-tos to why-nots. Please feel to raise your questions, I will try to answer all your questions.
Ok. First question.
Why do we need another thread for Q&A, when we already have STICKY thread in THIS section, with similar name, and even if we don't, this entire section is for Q&A's
Ok den i have a question can you suggest me best ics rom for neo v with locked bootloader & stock kernel.
But everything should be working there should be any bug.and that rom should be fast and tweaked.
Is ka21.1 ics a good rom?

Mayank,
Shardul Seth's ICS ROM is good to start with. I have tested all his previous versions and the current version too. The instructions are on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1603919
He uses a slightly modded Stock Kernel which is smooth and has enough governors on it. If you are stuck in one of the insturctions, I can help you with that.

Reyearthlings,
It's a terrific ROM. It has it's own limits. krabappel2548 has added new Jellybeans addons in this MOD. If you have used ICS KA2x.x before, this would be a cake walk. I would suggest you to give it a try.

Madfysh,
I am no where near your experience at XDA. If you this is not worth it, I would delete the thread right away.
Thread closed, as it's A) A duplicate, and B) kind of redundant given we have a whole Q/A section.
MIUI4 ROM Support for LiveView
I loved the MIUIv4 rom !!!
Its damn Awesome !!!!!
But I couldn't get my LiveView to work in it(Not Completely).
I am able to pair with it but not able to get notifications (like an incoming call, missed call, or even read an SMS).
I used the one that comes with the AROMA installer.
Any ideas to get it to work ?
