I was attempting to flash the new Objection UCLF5 ROM, and I think a serious error occurred. When I attempted to return to CWM, all I could get from the phone was the Stock Recovery screen. I attempted to "start over" using Odin to flash the earlier released pda.tar (original root) file and now (on reboot) the only response I get from the phone is " Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
I really appreciate all this community has provided and really hate to bother anyone for help ... but .... HELP!
Could someone please give me some direction on how I can get back to a rooted ROM and put my phone back into service?

I think the sure bet is to use the 1click rom. It installs on your PC then it installs on your phone. Its the latest ics leaked for at&t.

dearest friends, i urgently need you help.
i bought yesterday my new galaxy ace, i rooted it and works wonderful, i wanted ti install arabic language in order to read and write arabic, after installation the phone wont reboot and now am stuck on samsung logo.
i wiped the cache, made factory reset but no use still on the logo.
any one could help me in this issue, please am desperate did i lost my phone???

ok il will thanks dianpadi, but a small question, when they say arabic rom, is it means it support arabic font or every thing is in arabic?

okay, now im not sure if i can help you as im only new, but from all the reading ive done * and personal experience * the most common source of this problem is when flashing new things onto your phone, you have forgotten to wipe and clear the cache and stuff.. Try reflashing it, then wipe the dalvic cache and the others

Please Help. I flashed this Ice cream sandwich file "I9100XXLPB_I9100OXXLP5_OXX" on my galaxy s2 i777 and now i cant go back to stock. I get a frozen boot screen with the gt-i9100 logo. The only time I can get the phone to turn on is when I reflash the i9100 ics with odin. I dont want that because the back and search buttons dont work and internet data is not working. I just want to go back to the icsrewd that I had or foxhound. Please help. Thank you.
P.s. I also tried this, but didnt work "[Heimdall][Odin][Stock][Root]UCKH7/KK6 Return/Unbrick to Stock (or Root)"
Why not flash back to what was working, as you stated you can, and then from there, clear/wipe etc., and flash what you do want?

It wont let me flash anything that has to do with i777, not even the rom i had before.
If you can get into download mode you can flash back to stock. Just do everything you did when you flash the 1900 but use the stock one found in the development board and you should be fine

Flash back to stock first. You need to flash everything for the I777 that is in the i9100 package that caused the problem. Use an archive program to open the i9100 tar and look at the contents. It probably includes boot.bin, sbl.bin, and param.lfs. None of the stock I777 packages that you tried to flash have those. In that case, flash the I777UCKH7-CL503881 Stock Binaries from the Download Repository, which contains those files.
What Creepy said is accurate. The reason yer messed up is you flashed i9100 bootloaders most likely.

can you please help me with the similar problem i am facing now. i got At & T s2 and by mistake i updated with jelly bean test version of GT i9100 on my SGH I777. I tried to understand from your problem conversation but couldnt find out meanings of the words like flash, factory setting etc. can you please help me in this regards by writing what should i do in steps wise. looking forward for your reply.

U need to flash stock firmware with odin to restore functionality to the phone. Search for "stock firmware uckh7 i777 xda" with Google or search for creepyncrawly's profile here on xda, in his signature he has links to return to stock. Good luck.

Ok this is not being mean or rude, but if you dont know the meaning of these basic terms then you need to stop what your doing and spend some time doing your homework. Will you be with out a phone for a few hours? Yes but this is the price you pay for doing something before you understand what your doing. So please before you do something that cant be fixed. Do the research.

My son updated his tab with the Icecream Sandwich update sometime ago and now his camera won't work, he really would like this facility back, would appreciate if anyone can help.
He has repeatedly reset the device and still the camera won't work and states "Media server failed. Camera needs restart" .

If you're stock, unrooted... I would wipe cache in stock recovery.. but don't wipe anything else... stock recovery on ICS can be funny..
After wiping the cache, just reboot.. should fix the issue... if not. I would expect that the update did not go through completely.. in that case. You will need to use Odin and flash/install the stock ICS 4.0.4 rom.

i used rwilco's unroot for Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which was great and worked right up to the point where the it was time to download the 7zip on my phone, but my phone Is stuck with a yellow Sprint screen that wILL do NOTHING! I don't know what to do next.
i have done the unroot twice with the same result. Is there anyting, ANYTHING that anyone can suggest. Help me PLEASE..... this phone is literally my lifeline.

Thank you so much. I have my connection to the world back again.
since lollipop dropped today, I want to update. When I go into the download process all goes well, but when it starts flashing it, the progress bar lights up, starts going, then goes away and I'd get the red triangle. At which point I restast and it says it failed, try again later. I'm wondering if my recovery isn't up to date, but I can't find one for 3.42.502.1. If someone can upload or link me one I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance,

Thanks for updating your original post. I wanted to flash twrp to nandroid my 4.4.4. coming from 4.4.2 but I knew that I might run into a new recovery issue and I did, so I'm glad that I found your post. On with lollipop now.

I will do the same as well
