Disable charging led - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hey.
I'm so annoyed by the charging LED. Both the orange while charging and the green when fully charged! It's charging at my nightstand and can't sleep because of that light
Any app or hack I can apply to disable the charging indicator?

Try lightflow from market.

TI Have Tried Lightflow But It Did Not Work. Is There Any other Way To Disable Charging Light?

You can try putting a stub lights.semc to kill all LEDs.

The problem is I would still like to use the LED for notifications. I only want to disable it during night or/and while charching, Lightflow gives options for both, but is not able to control the LED on this phone.

Put a sock on it.

The LED shines thru.

Little bit of blutac/tape over the led at night?

Yeah! Playing around with tape at evening and in the morning sounds like THE solution! You may wanna to patent that idea!

Just turn it around... Tadaaa

Why dont you just use the leather cover that was given along with the phone. That should help.

I have the same problem, I wan't to disable the led during charging.
When I bought my phone, no leather cover were given with it. And I can't turn it around because at night it's charging on a dock...

Why is it that people love to give retarded suggestions on this site? Is it to increase the post count of some sort? The guy asks for a way to disable the led, NOT how to turn around the phone. It's NOT what he asked for so why would you pester his thread with stupid replies? It's so annoying thinking that you've found a thread where the 'issue' you are looking to solve, are being discussed, but then it's just a bunch of people with mockingly stupid answers.
It's either that or "why would you wanna do that?" replies, on this damn website. If you can't help addressing the issue, why make the OP think that someone gave him a useful reply in his thread?
/rant
In an attempt to help anyone else who might stumble upon this thread: If LightFlow works on your phone you should just set the flashrate on the "charging" part to have a humongous "off" time. You can't disable the LED completely but I've found that you can make it flash extremely slow for like 10 ms every 1 hour or something. It helps.

Put a small, removable sticker over the light sensor on the top of your Rezound?
You can always get them to our come on, on demand, by placing your thumb or finger over the light sensor.

The ineffibilis gingerbread rom has the option to keep the lights on. ICS roms have them on all the time I think.
There's an app called keyboard backlight. It lets you keep them off or on all the time

well I'm not rooted so the only fix I see above is the "tape" fix or the "cover censor if you need to see them" fix.

Blocking the sensor works, but...
I just tried putting a small piece of tape over the sensor and found that it works. The red buttons always stay on regardless of the ambient light conditions, however, during a call the screen will no longer go dark so that your ear, cheek, etc are no longer prevented from inadvertently clicking on anything. Obviously the sensor has a double duty.

or it can also be the fact that on my incredible i had cm7 and had torch which pushed the leds to their limit and made them really hot but i just loved that flashlight helped out when i needed to look for something in the dark
again, as a.mcdear pointed out - this is a 100% hardware capability thing. while some software might not set the same brightness levels in settings, the limits are the limits of the hardware.

Sure, and you can hook them up to a car battery and they will explode, but that does not mean that another app can miraculously cause the hardware to deliver more power to the Flash LEDs. The fact is that the torch setting on any app is probably already using the maximum brightness that the hardware is capable of.
Snowman is not making things up. The nexus torch on the Incredible would overpower both LEDs at once for a crazy bright light. When I would run non-CM7 ROMs on my Incredible, I always looked for an alternative app that did the same thing, but never could. Most could only run one of the two LEDs. If they could light both at once, they were not overpowered.

Yeah the torch app on the incredible was so bright that every time you turn it on it had a warning popup saying not to leave it on long because it would melt **** lol
No offense, but if having a bright flashlight is really this important to you, why not just get an actual flashlight?
Otherwise, if you're in a pinch and just need a quick light, the rezound is definitely bright enough for illuminating a dark area (like putting your keys in the car door in an unlit parking lot)
I still have my incredible (gf uses it actually) so I know how bright that app is.
What I was saying is that the rezound is clearly capable of the same bright flashlight as the incredible. The incredible one turns on the leds as if to flash while taking a picture but keeps the lights on. I see no reason why the rezound could not do the same. Now do I know how to get that working at the moment - no. But I'm interested enough to do some research and I'll post what I find.

[Q] A Couple of questions about the S3

I had the GS2 for a short time & a couple of things really made me want to get rid of it & wondered if these problems had been eliminated in the S3?
1: The radio was always way too loud, even at minimum volume.
2: When the battery was full the screen lit up & the phone made a noise, most annoying in the middle of the night.
Have these been addressed & fixed?
About Q2: Probably not. A fix is, to lay your phone further away from you when you sleep. And do you really wake up because of that?
And Q1: Almost never used radio, but no volume problems when I used it (SGS1).
+1 ^^ Have to agree with the user above me.

I mentioned the S2 not the s1.
Laying further away from the phone isn't a fix....It stays lit which cannot be a good thing.
I did use the FM radio - It was loud..
For the S2 there is a mod which deactivates the full charge notification. The one for the S3 will arrive soon after it is released.

Possesed phone!

I'm having the weirdest things happen to me recently! Today I woke up to a dead phone (wouldn't turn on or charge). The phone was charging the entire night!!! How did it die, randomly??? I fixed it by using a different charger (the one I was charging last night still works!!) And 12 hours later, I'm having even crazier **** happen to me! OK, this is what happened: I downloaded Radiant Defense and started playing. About 15 minutes in, an app I have not opened the entire day, starts playing music!!!!!(Rdio). I kill it, go back to my game, and it starts again!!!!! I uninstall it, go back to my game, AND MY FLIPPING GOOGLE PLAY(WHICH I HAD NOT USED FOR LIKE A WEEK STARTS PLAYING!) I just screw it all and go back to my game. AND YOU KNOW WHAT THE HELL HAPPENS??????? IT STARTS CALLING MY CONTACTS!!!! LIKE WTFFFFF????? JUST RANDOMLY!!! (Thanks God I ran out of service a couple of days ago) I'm currently running NegaLite Blue with maybe the MiRaGe kernel. Any idea what kinda Trojan/virus/malware/app/demon is in my phone????? PLZ Help.
