Google Chrome html test freezing? - HTC Amaze 4G

Ok so I was testing out Google Chrome with the html test by Microsoft and every time that I attempt to test the speed reading my phone freezes up. I'm not sure why it does this and was curious if anyone else was having this issue. The html test works fine on Google chrome on both my laptop and ipod touch. Also I'm running ARHD 3.0 ROM.

From my experience Chrome on the amaze has been laggy at best. I have a transparent notif bar, and that creates issues. As well as not being faster or as smooth as the ROM browser app

Do you get some graphical issues when using Chrome besides the transparent notification bar?

I took a few screen shots of Google Chrome and its graphical glitches on my Amaze. Some of then are on the loaded Web Page while some are on the menu.

Unsurprisingly, no other apps besides this glitch up like this.

it's an amaze gpu glitch, everyone has the same issue, no one every got around to fixing it though.

I know there's already a picture thread but its also mixed with mostly 3d images and really just wanted to see some great 2d pictures you have captured with your phone. Here's a few I've taken indoor and outdoor. It's not the greatest camera I've seen on a mobile phone but pretty decent regardless.

Nope, still running Viper rom and 2.3.3. Why? Did the update help out with the camera much? Still getting lots of green in most of my pics. Example my bright yellow bike, lots of green in the shadows.

this launcher is pretty cool, as soon as all the FC's get ironed out i think its worth keeping, i personally like the honeycomb launcher they rolled out with, because it has fewer FC's than ICS launcher.

Main reason I like the stock browser over dolphin is because of the onscreen menu button always on the bottom. Chrome doesn't support flash I heard so that's a no go.

Just as an FYI, starting with android 4.1 Jellybean, there will be no support for flash at all.
Sent from my Evo 4G LTE
Come on guys. It was an easy question with some silly solutions. Yes I know Jellybean will not have flash but we're on ICS and will be for awhile. Flash will eventually die but not for years. So I'm guessing the answer to my original question is no.
Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
If someone doesn't reply with a solution its not because they don't want to help you, but because they don't know. The reason we still post is because we have something somewhat relevant to add and also helps you get your post to the top.

Indeed. The fix I suggested above also requires root. If you are not willing to do so then no, there would be no fix.
Thanks for the last couple of replies guys. Not trying to be ungrateful or anything, just looking for an answer. My goal with this phone was to possibly stay unrooted but it looks like I might have to change that soon.

My home key is also very snappy, with no discernible lag. I'm running completely stock (unrooted) as well.
there's definitely a lag.. not as bad as the gs3, but it takes a second or so to register back to home.
how many things do you guys have on your screen?? my theory is that the more on the screen, the more lag going home. there's never launcher redraw, so maybe that's senses way of doing it. Instead of redrawing everyone you go home, it just takes a little longer. all of my screens are filled with icons or widgets lol

Yeah, definitely not as bad as the gs3. I wanted to throw mine before I figured it out was because of S-Voice. I only have three home screen with a total of five widgets. I would figure that with 2gb of ram and a quad that it wouldn't be necessary to lag like that. Going to try a different launcher and see.
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk 2
anyone else still noticing this? i mean, it's kind of annoying me lately lol so i want to know if everyone's is like this, which i would assume it is. it's not as instant as the S3 with S-voice turned off..it's about as laggy as the S3 with s-voice turned on.
It's instant for me, I'm running Clean Rom, 1728 oc, with Launcher Pro.

hmm, perhaps it's the sense launcher itself.
I've been using LauncherPro all these years and never noticed it hasn't been updated since 2011 so I just switched to Nova and it's just as snappy.
Maybe it's Sense that seems not as fast.

0.05 is a lot more functional than I expected from the low version number. Aside from the RIL, camera, HDMI mentioned all the other apps are doing fine so far. No crashes like I might expect of a preview elsewhere. The build isn't running/keeping background processes well at all, and had to change home screen to a page other than the blinkfeed to keep the launcher redraws down. TiBu auto-activates as premium for MoDaCo Plus rather than regular way I noticed, and the little blue X's on the help screens don't close out those overlays on touch (back button does.)
Thanks for the preview and wish you well in continuing this work, hope it will be a daily driver sooner rather than later.
