Swing Shot login disconnected - TouchPad Themes and Apps

Is anyone able to login to the game Swing Shot without getting disconnected? It works on my phone, but the Touchpad always disconnects.
Pretty fun game, by the way. It's sort of like Angry Birds if the pigs fought back.

Lane splitter

Anybody play lane splitter? My kids and i loved it on the evo 4g. However, on the mopho, i can only pop a wheelie for 10 to 15 seconds before it stops. I thought maybe the program was defective, so i got a screen testing program, touch test, market://search?q=pnamerg.hermit.touchtest , and i was able to reproduce it. It's like the i am letting go of the screen. Is it the mopho, or is it just my phone? Ant thoughts?

I just played it and had no problems
it messes up because the Photon has a "water detector", this same water detector to prevent false touches - happens to screw you over on games by eliminating your held touch point after X number of seconds.
any game where you have to maintain a touch on the screen has the same issue.
So I need to alternate fingers to keep the wheelie popped. easy enough. The accelerometer seems to be more sensitive than on the evo 4g too. So the game is a lot tougher on this phone.

Problems playing 3d games.....

Alright, I have been having difficulties with playing 3d games. I seem to lose contact with the screen even though my thumbs are firmly pressing down. Almost like they read, then stop reading as soon as I tap another location on my screen. It has happened with GTA3, Shadowgun, and Deadspace. It is really annoying to try and run from a bad guy, and your guy just stutters. I have also over heated playing a couple of these. Never shut down on me yet, but definately went past my comfort zone.About 127 degrees after maybe a half hour. No other problems of overheating except with the games. Streamed netflix for an entire movie on 3g with full brightness, and it only got to 112 a couple of times. No screen protecter, or case. I love everything about this phone, but these issues. I can send it back to Costco for a brand new one, but there return policy is kinda pain in the @ss. Verizons policy is much better, and may wait it out for a refurb.Do any of you guys have the same problems, and do you think it is a hardware, or software problem? Would you guys return it for these problems? Oh yeah, not rooted, or missed in any way. Thanks

I'd say you have a defective device man. I played Deadspace on my phone max brightness and battery temp only like 111 tops. I thought Costco's return policies were always relaxed, they never questioned me when I returned laptops for having dead pixels on the screen. Hell lady even handed me $2,000 in cash in $20's LOL. Some units sadly have an overheating issue, and it sounds like yorus is one of them.

Do you use Go locker by chance? When I had it enabled, I noticed that GTA3 wouldnt allow me to drive and do gas at the same time (or anything else that requires two or more fingers on the screen at once).
Once I disabled Go Locker I immediately had no problems in any of my games.
I ordered online, and the return process is that you ship the phone back, they credit you, then you repurchase it, and they next day air it to you. I am/was concerned because I got if for a 50 dollar upgrade, and am skeptical of getting the same deal. I am going to go ahead and return it today. Just afraid that I will get dead pixels, and other defects for the next one. Well wish me luck, and I will be back on my new resound in a couple weeks. At least my ocd with checking for root will stop. (Lol) Thanks

i have the same problem where i can't drive in gta 3. The input of the onscreen joystick has a second delay where it takes that one second to register. I thought it was just me
It seems like am not crazy. There is another Guy in games and apps gta3 topic that had the problem. Wondering if it is a had batch of phones. Maybe a bad screen, and that causes the overheating. Hope my next one is sound as a pound....

Same issue until I uninstalled go locker. Leaving the stock lock screen fixed the issue.
Got 2 Rezounds from that Costco deal. Both overheat issues. I already suspected it was a bad batch, your story raises my eyebrow slightly higher. My 1st phone has already been replaced w/ a Verizon refurb & it seems to be fixed (still testing), and the 2nd refurb is on its way now. Just do the Verizon warranty refurb (mine was in mint condition) & that way you wont have to wait 2 weeks and possibly get another Costco troll phone.
@Dustinintheweb,
Oh where were you yesterday...(lol) I should have went with my gut, but I sent it back to Costco yesterday. It was my early Christmas present, and now I am without it on Christmas. The lady I talked to at Costco told me she would try here best to speed up the process. If the next one is bad, I will do the refurb. Thanks for letting me know.

Got my S3 replaced and this one gets hot at the bottom all the time...

I'm wondering if I have ANOTHER bad S3. First one never heated up at the bottom but had a bad volume rocker that didn't work. Got it replaced and now this one always gets hot at the bottom. My usage hasn't changed... I'm wondering, is this normal.

I just got my phone yesterday so I haven't really had time to use it. However, when I was downloading all of my apps from the Play Store, I did think it was very hot on the bottom half of the back.
That being said, I'm going to go to the store tonight to get my phone replaced due to loose/clicky home button.
Mine only gets hot at the bottom when playing intensive games like Dead Trigger on max, which seems normal. If it is getting hot all the time on normal use that doesn't seem very normal.
Mine gets hot at the bottom with normal use. :-(
warm at the bottom with normal use. nature of the beast. slim, high powered phone, its gonna get hot
Mine gets warm sometimes on its own with the screen off and everything just sitting in my pocket. Without playing very graphically intensive games though, it won't get what I consider hot. At least coming from my old DINC.

Things like this are a big reason why I'm very hesitant to exchange my phone even though it has problems. You might always end up with one that has worse problems than the first one you had.

yeah mine gets slightly warm at bottom under light to moderate use. doesnt really bother me at all.
It's a powerhouse phone that's so slim of course you're going to feel the heat. If anyone thinks they have a problem with their phone download "Cool Tools" and you can check the temperature live.
I know during easy use like sending a text the phone is cool.
Moderate use like surfing the web or watching a video the bottom half gets warm.
Heavy use such as playing Dead Trigger or Nova will cause it to get hot. But just like any electronic device the more use the hotter the temp. Sadly phones unlike desktop PC's don't have cooling fans.
WARM/HOT IS OKAY! STOP FREAKING OUT PEOPLE!
Mine has only ever gotten slightly warm at the bottom, and never hot or noticable. That was while constantly dropping in/out of service and heavy usage. Other than that it has been very cool, even when charging.
Also those with a case will feel the heat differently as well.. If you have a case you're less likely to notice the heat.
Those without a case will feel the effect more.
Either way too many of you freak out over nothing.
I think this is funny because when the new ipad came out (which i love btw) everyone was writing articles left and right all over the internet about it getting hot.
It's normal for it to get warm/slightly hot especially when using it while it's charging. But really anything after a few minutes of use will make it begin to warm up. Then toss in videos or games and it will warm up some more. As phones get more powerful and thinner the more we will feel the heat. I mean these are miniature computers but unlike laptops or desktops they don't have the luxury of a fan and ventilation system. The heat has to go somewhere right? Every dual core phone i've used gets warm. My Sensation actually gets extremely hot (HTC said it was normal), and my Bionic gets pretty darn hot too.
I returned mine because it was getting extremely hot after only 5 mins of lite web browsing. Back to my S2 or Gnex I guess.
I hear what you guys are saying, but my first one didn't get warm. I don't do any intense gaming or watch videos. I use the Facebook app, instagram, I text and make a few phone calls. The second one gets warm and the first one disnt... Same usage

Got mine yesterday, noticed that it also gets warm on the bottom.
Have one of those belkin cases that covers the rim but leaves the back exposed, so I definitively notice it.
However, as some have said, wouldn't worry to much about it.
OP, do you have the exact same settings as in your old one? Mainly motion actions, Svoice listening for wakeup command all the time, etc?

Nfc/Google wallet question.

So yesterday at my local gas station I used Google wallet for the first time ever and it went flawless and was really cool to see it in action. Today on the other hand at my local Loves gas station (for those who don't know what a loves is its a truck stop) and went to pay with Google wallet but the terminal would not pick up my phone at all. It had all the symbols and whatnot but nothing happened. I'm not sure what lights are supposed to show up on the terminal but there was a very slow blinking green light. I'm just hoping it wasn't my phone, I really like the feature. I will try again at the first gas station I used it at. Just wondering how many people have run into Google wallet terminals that didn't work or have ever had this issue. I and yes, I did have my screen on and I looked like a fool waving my phone around the thing trying to get it to read haha.

It was probably the terminal, some are up and running but need to be setup correctly. It needs to be a steady green light, they need to hit credit and verify transaction afterward.

Same thing happened to me at McDonalds. It kind of registered, but didn't vibrate and beep like it usually does. I told them to use the other register bc I didn't have any other way to pay and it worked perfectly.
I was thinking what u are right now though. Was like yeah, I did drop my phone when I fell asleep watching netflix. Maybe the NFC blah blah blah. 9 times out of 10 it is the store's reader that's messed up.
Thanks for your response, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one this has happened to. I would be sad to hear that the nfc just died. It probably was their terminal. When I go to the other gas station I will have to pay attention to the lights on the terminal while it's doing its thing they may be a sign if it's working or able to process those types of transactions.

When I encounter a issue I usually whip out my cc and tap it and it doesn't work, haven't found a case where a cc works and phone doesn't.
I don't have a tap and go card, wish i did now just so i can double check...
I've used it a couple times and went to use it at a gas station and it wouldn't register, I'm thinking its cause I have a defenders case on the phone now
Sent from my LTEVO
Our NFC chips are supposed to be useable up to an inch away so a defender case shouldn't cause much of a problem.
Just tried to use my $10 b/f it expires. Was at a BP in ATL and mine didn't work. Had the phone screen active & google wallet up. The phone would buzz, but the transaction wouldn't register. Guess it was the terminal. Will try again later this week...

I actually never was offered the ten dollar thing. Weird but I'm happy enough with nfc.

Have a defender case on mine as well. Usually if it is going to work it responds immediately. Only one time it beeped and vibrated but didn't go thru. Don't think the register was set up right though.
When it works it works quick for me. Usually don't have time to blink in the time it takes to pay. Pretty sweet.
Just make sure to tell them credit because payment will get stuck. Happened today at McDonald's, guy just stared at me blankly. He didn't say or do anything until I asked if credit went through, he yells oh and hits credit then says I think it went through. Guy was a regular Einstein lol
I tested it at the other gas station, and it works fine. I noticed that they are two different terminals though they both have the same logos. I noticed the lights on it were solid rather than the blinking, and though this time wallet didn't open itself from the lock screen I had to unlock it manually. Then it went through with asking me for my pin and then authorized.
Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
There are different terminals. The one at Wendy's actually had the google wallet logo on it I think. Could be wrong, but I know I saw it somewhere. Worked better than the paypass MasterCard ones that sometimes mess up.

Just FYI from a truck driver, Love's is putting more and more paypass/nfc terminals in their stores. But, they're not activated for NFC payment.

Plants vs Zombies 2:bad for my tab???

Just thought I'd share. So I was playing Plants vs Zombies 2 this morning(only my second time playing) and I was going strong for a good 45mins I'd say. When all of a sudden my game froze and my tab rebooted itself. As it was rebooting I grabbed the tab by the top portion around the camera and both the front and back of the tab were burning up. I'm talking seriously hot to the touch. I actually went and put the tab in the freezer for a min as I was concerned that level of heat mite do some permanent damage. After it cooled down I turned it back on and its running fine now. I'm presently running CyanogenMod 10.3 and that was my first freeze/reboot since installing it. Plus it was only my second time playing PvZ2 as the first time was briefly for a couple minutes so I'm doubting its just a coincidence. Its a really fun game but not at the expense of my tab. Just thought I'd give everyone a heads in case anything similar happens to somebody else

Lucky!!!
Remember making cool ornaments when I was younger. We'd heat up glass insulators in an oven and then quickly cool them off. Created all kinds of crazy cracking in the glass and looked cool.
Glad you didn't get all kinds of crazy cracking in your tab after going through the two temperature extremes like that.
Mine heated up bad on Trinity but using the stock kernel it gets hot but nothing to be concerned about
