Most likely, it depends if it is a complicated as it was getting Ice Cream Sandwich to work earlier in the year.

Hey Airbus.
I'm interested in flashing your Rom. I've been looking for a super clean, utterly bloat free Stock rom for a while.
Do you happen to know if TV-OUT is working? - I know you mentioned that your Rom is stock, although it's stock AOSP and not stock Sammy, right? So am I correct in assuming it more than likely won't be functional?
Thanks in advance & good luck!

Hello airbus360,
I am really loving your ROM but unfortunately there is that sdcard/emmc bug. Any plans on fixing this?

I have the wifi fixed, and the sdcard and emmc/sdcard bug fixed. I can't upload it because my broadband hasn't been working for about a week now, Virgin Media. As soon as the broadbands fixed I will upload it.

News:
Restarting Alpha's back to Alpha 1 because not much is working. It is now using Kernel 3.0.9 and A lot has broken because of it.
The ROM
The ROM is still a ALPHA and only has a couple of missing features. That is because we are using the older 2.6.35 Kernel. Me and eaglerazor123 are currently building a 3.0.9 Kernel to fix the missing things. Bare with us on that as there is compiliation errors going on. We are working to fix that.
Update:
- Using CM9 from Teamhacksung to fix things in this as we speak.*
- For People who like CM I have tweaked their build for Stability, speed and responsiveness. Update zip will come for you to install
- AOSP wins all for me over CM9, this project stays alive

Nice, this will actually help Teamhacksung getting asked less about ETA's
Now the question is, what is better old kernel without mic or new kernel with unstable RIL?
Good luck with your ROM!
I see you're saying you're working on 3.0.9 Kernel Sources. Where exactly did you find those?

I think once we get the mic with the new kernel. I can start work on patching and fixing it up.
Congratulations! It looks like you've worked really hard on this project and you are very close to make it completely functional. I will flash it when I have some time. Keep up the good work !

You took my advice on thread making then
Im guessing youll be working on the kernel tonight? Can we expect anything good soon?
Nice you've opened an xda thread now, I'm running alpha 12 for 2 days now and it's pretty beast! One question: Is this an zip I can flash so now more restores? Also can I install from alpha 12 without wiping?

I can't get update zip. The kernel doesn't flash correctly. And if you advance restore and restore system, you can restore without wipe, If you are on Alpha 12 Only

Yeah, zips giving errors so I thought it would be simpler for the User to use nandroid backup, instead of flashing the kernel manually. Also I am reasonably new to the S2 forums
Good to see you here! Hope we can somehow help you in fixing these bugs. Glad to test it for you.

Backing up now, gonna give this a play tonight, then restore my stock ROM for work tomorrow
Thanks for this
For me. The speed is incredible. The battery is not bad and the Graphic Glitches are All gone.
Everything working smooth just two small problems, in settings when I rotate the screen i get like 1/2 a second like a broken screen then it rotates, when I connect to the pc the pc doesn't see the phone. When I install from which software version should I install the backup KP2 or can I do it from KK5? Thx

Any Cm7 Kernel, there is one included in the zip if you'd like to use that then remove it from the zip and flash it. Or mjolnir kernel, doom (discontinued).
Wow! The upload might have to wait as my internet is cutting out due to a thunder storm :'( I'll keep you all posted. So due to weather conditions in my area the rom will not be uploaded until my internet is stable. So please come back in about 8 or 9 hours after I've slept and I've uploaded the rom.
Thanks for understanding

Here is compiled CM7 and CM9 for zeusc devices (CDMA). I'd love if you could attempt a CM9 port first, for whatever reason, I was never successful with getting any form of CM7 running on my device.

Cm7 is what I'm building now as that is what Lewa is built upon, If I were to attemp cm9 it wouldn't be Lewa, it'd be a mashup. But yeah I'll mess around with it for a while and see what I can do but I'm at work for the next two nights so there probably won't be much progress.
Ah, okay. That makes sense. Well the fact that you're attempting it is awesome. Good luck and thank you!

Quote from Rules for "Original development section":
"Original" in this sense are only ROMs that are compiled from source, so AOSP, AOKP, CM Versions. Additionally SOME Sense-Roms may be inducted here, if they include truly extraordinary development. This decision is to be made by moderators.
Click to collapse
So as MIUI-Roms are not compiled from source, they do NOT belong to Original development.
We decided to leave it here though, because it is the first MIUI Rom for this device, so in that context "original".
but it based on CM10 from Lloir...so its original

But, I come from the HOX forums and there are MIUI Roms there in the Original Section.
I don't make the rules but still I don't understand why there are now 2 development sections for each device
No, no, no... this can not be truth. I didn't want to unlock my device jet... but this MIUI rom ought me to...

your rom is 4.1 based, you cant flash the latest gapps (jb 121212), which is for 4.2, it will cause at lot of problems, jb 21011 is for 4.1.X roms
I'll try this as soon as the Home button is fixed

Very nice rom, didn't use MIUI before but it look svery nice. My home button does work for me, I have a android 4.1.1 gapps.
Issue that I seem to have is that when I'm playing music and lock the screen it cracks a lot. Like if the cpu freq is to low.
logcat: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5malkitjxbogek9/log.txt
EDIT: I used gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip

I doubt the OP can fix issues like that!
Your best bet is to wait for Lloir to fix it in his ROM so the OP can grap the fix from that :good:
Speaking from experience, in ports there's not much you can do other then XML edits and swap apps here and there!
Downloading the ROM now.......

Could you clarify a question for me: My understanding is that this has not been released for our device yet; does that mean that this is put together via files for some other device and that things don't work perfectly because of that?

It's not been cobbled together from other devices, rather it's a compile from pure AOSP, using the 4.4 sources that have been released.
Google hasn't managed to fix a few issues, so they haven't released an OTA yet.

What Sleepy said. and trust me, it really does work perfectly fine. Its smooth and stable, The only thing that is not functional is the camera.
So I flashed this, it was working well enough, then I rebooted and flashed bulletproof 1.4 kernal and it seemed to have broken wifi. I'm in the process of reflashing 4.4 now
edit: wifi working again without bulletproof kernal. Is it expected that custom kernals wouldn't work? I also have that keyboad bug in the home screen that I saw people discussing in the main thread

Noice! I am kinda split between this ROM and the SlimKat ROM.

I have Multirom and installed both Roms, DJ was the first to release a stable build for DEB and was fast and very helpful.
Then I flashed SlimKat and also watch developement, similar but a few more features.
I'll keep both and my Stock 4.3 as dayli for the moment.
so the only issue with this rom is camera and poping keyboard?

I thank the dev and ROM for their service.
Darn.... Rear camera is the thing why 7" tablets have a purpose and of it doesn't work in this or any other, it's a show stopper. There went my wish to switch from Stock to AOSP as I can not stand anymore Google edition tweaks what Google engineers has done.

Glad you're back...and good win by the broken team :silly:
Thanks for the ROM. Fast, stable, and no issues so far :good:
Very Rarely do I get on XDA anymore, I have been using another rom for my LG original VS985 that I had to bump and then I installed Illusion rom which was a decent rom but I never had time to switch to anything else. Being that I had all dinosaur software on my phone lol I decided to update. One issue I ran into when installing this rom was that I had not installed the 23B modem and when you install this rom it will not install unless that newer modem has been flashed. Other than that small issue which I was able to resolve rather quickly. I have had no issues with this rom and it is smooth as a mother Fker. Thank you for putting out such a bad ass rom with so many options and a very clean install and bug free ROM. Like I said I never get on XDA but I made it a point after installing this rom to come give thanks and props to all that worked on this project. Its nice finally having the time to update and get new software for my phone installed.
Thanks for the kind words join our g+ community, one big happy disfunctional family

I most definitely will thanks again.
I can't get over how incredibly smooth this ROM is and the features are so extensive, the kernel running this ROM is an absolute power house. Any tweak or mod imaginable is located within this ROM. The amount of detail the devs put into this is remarkable. I still have yet to have one single bug or issue to report and will gladly continuing my updates if I can find anything to help the devs along with testing.

The ROM is súper fast ...Rock ...thsnks thanks
Awesome ROM, loving it so far. Very quick. Only "bug" I've seen so far is that it is losing my saved WiFi points on reboot...any solution for this?
