I have been trying to update since new firmware was released,im on O2 UK.
Before it use to say no update found but just recently im getting this error when clicking on check for updates
failed to update firmware due to network or server problem.Try software update via settings > Software Update > Update or try using PC Kies later

Has anyone on O2 got the new firmware yet ?

I checked if there was a update for 2.1 on the phone it said install the pc companion which i did then it said i had a update for the mini and then after that it says instillation error.
i am on orange branded but i got the update from the phone advising me to go online to update?
My sister in laws mini is Orange branded UK too and same problem, I could not do it via pc companion either, downloaded sony update service instead and it found the new update and is installing as I type..
I am unable to upgrade my firmware using kies. It says 'cannot access the model information server. try again' . I had tried multiple times and it says the same.
where was I wrong? How do I upgrade my firmware

I have a galaxy s3 when I received the phone I rooted and installed a custom rom straight away. I thought it was an unbranded handset but when I have installed the unbranded firmware Kies comes up with your phone does not support software updates.
Only by looking at a similar sourced phone .
Your codes are probably messed up and Kies sees no firmware to match them or their actually is none .

I thought that I bought it second hand and when I connected it to Kies I'm sure it was the LG8 update. But connecting it to Kies it now says unavailable to update.
Wait which firmware is KOR ?
Fixed it thanks changed the CSC from KOR to BTU.

I have a I9300 WITCH WAS LOCKED on VODAFONE IRELAND!
I was to a service and i unlocked the phone...after one update via kiess, phone relocked.At the service, second time, they rooted the phone and unlocked him!The phone, work very slow, and i was again at the gsm service...This time, they rewrite last ics update, and the phone works very nice...Thats hapening this summer.Now i want to upgrade the phone with jelly bean, but kies dont let me do this update...I have this message "Your Device Does Not Support Software Upgrading Via Kies".
When i open the OTA, phone downloading an update about 240mb.
My question is...what kind of update will download phone via ota?This update will block again my phone in VDF IRELAND?How can i ceck this?

Call Vodafone Ireland, and ask for the unlock code, it's the best permanent solution. Or, use "voodoo SIM unlock" from the play store.
Use Odin and flash the Rom you want to use. After updating/flashing your phone, you will be SIM locked again, it will always happen.
STOP PAYING some random guy to play you for a sucker. He's probably using xda methods to flash and unlock your phone.

I am at build version 8.2.0.103(C636patch01). Isn't this build a little bit far behind? I see people with build version .133 and .140 any idea how am I supposed to receive the updates? From Malaysia btw
There is a Huawei schedule for releasing the updates all over the world: wait and be patient.

Seems no firmware is available for this model yet. nothing on FF. you may need to contact Huawei service center and they will be able to provide more information/update in this regard. try getting hold of their chat support in your region or of service center is easily accessible, you may try visit them and they can update if available any.
Download and install HiSuite from Huawei, connect your phone to the PC and allow HiSuite to use the HDB in phone settings, once the program detects your phone, verify in the program if there are updates. If there is not, it's because your model does not have updates.

I tried this first hand, doesn't work huhu.
There's not any firmware for your model, for now
I had this issue, I was stuck on November patch, Never received 1 update since receiving the phone, I found this odd so just today connected to HiSuite and there are updates, for some reason I am not receiving OTA updates.

It happened with my 8X as well. Never received update via OTA but couple of them on hisuite. But recently got update via ota and now i have debranded and got one OTA
