Hi guys, I'm writing here because the gps on my gf's mini is really problematic. It worked on. 62 stock rom and kernel, then, with every rom + kernel combination, it doesn't work more, exept with CM 7.2. Now, with official ics, I've just changed the kernel (krsh kernel) and the gps doesn't work another time...what should I do?
Ps the real problem is the geolocation with beautifull widget and other similiar apps...

I have looked for a tunnel kernel module for the samsung i5500 with the FROYO version 2.6.32.9-perf
I couldnt find it anywhere, so I have compiled my own. Here it is, sorry if it's been done before..
I have tested this on my european stock 2.2 JP3 kernel updated with kies and on a stock GT-S5570. It may work on other phones with the same kernel version..
as per usual place in /system/lib/modules
then the vpn services should work..
Can you explain what does it?

the tun.ko is necessary for the vpnc application and for the openVPN application.
there are few tutorials out there about openVPN integration with android, the main things that you need are this module, a rooted phone and the android sdk installed so that you can send files with the phone using 'adb'.
If you are not interested in these apps then you dont need the kernel module.

can i use this tun.ko in my galaxy 5 for openvpn ?
Just in case anyone needs to know, my CyanogenMod port's kernel already has TUN built-in, so this module won't work (and isn't needed, either).
Absolutely, this is for the Stock 2.2 froyo ROM.

Everything was fine, but can someone tell me why there is no vibration for my SMS and Whatsapp??
Any solution? I've already set Vibration "As Always", and "Ticked" Notification on the SMS Settings. Please help me!!
Check the rom thread but possible is that its a non released buggy test rom with not everything working .test rom as in ICS base .

that's a rom-related problem... try to reboot in recovery and wipe cache partition and dalvik cache....

I've solved it by downloading Sound Manager from the Market!

Hi, I'm writing here because I've not messagges enough to write in development. I'm using NightlyFourE rom 3.7 and I've changed kernel because with cyano stock kernel my proximity sensor doesn't work. I've tried to use rome bfs vsync off kernel by zacks but it doesn't work so I've flashed paolom70 kernel modified by roq3. It works great but gameplay sucks. Someone could suggest me a kernel with good gameplay working on this rom? Thanks everybody and sorry my bad scholastic english

Use franco's .35 2OCT version or stock CM kernel..
I would also use franco's Kernel.

1. If the developer is busy compiling ROMs for SIII, then that's his decision, if you are not happy with it, then send him a PM
2. If you think his ROM is outdated, then flash another ROM. There are many, many good ROMs out there.
3. If you really like Foxhound Rom so much that you can never use another ROM, then stay with the Rom.

deep sleep works after using camera if you flash camera patch on CM10
Questions about CM10:
Does CM10 ROM use nimms kernel, or your own one?
Does the problem with call after call occur? Like "calling still in progress".
Does the problem with "sending" over and over message occur?
Does the native torch work?
Does the BLN work?

eah but i couldnt be bthered, i like it the way it is
um i dont know if this is a bug in cm9,, but when i plug the phone to my computer it comes up with my sd card, and i havent even pressed connect usb mass storage

Devs are devs not wizards.. they are doing their best to give us a fully functional rom.. wayland has been working on cm9 for about 2 months and if he could give us a fully working camera he would do.. if you think you can do better...well..try!!

Cm9 or cm10??
I'm using superSU on cm9 and it updated su binaries and never asks me twice the root access.. it is much better in my opinion
