Im working on a mod to show the CRT ON animation (located HERE) but I think Im running into a limitation with my phone.
There is a 1/2 second delay from me pressing my power button, to the display actually turning on. The problem is, that my crt-on animation is happening during that 1/2 sec delay (I can sometimes see the tail end of the animation when I turn my phone display on).
Do any developers know of a way to increase the delay time of the CRT animation?

Like the title says i was wondering if it is possible to speed up the time it takes for the screen to turn on after pressing the "power button" when the screen is turned off? (Not when the phone is turned off)
I know it's a very short delay, but compared to an iPhone it seems incredibly sloppy/slow as the screen on an iPhone turns on immediately after you pressed the key.

I think its good when you have 30 steps volume bar.

having 30 steps gives you more control over range but not speed of declining....its system default...infact 15 steps goes down within 3 seconds or 2
....but if you ever met with this speed solution share with us
and yeah many music players support this things over lock screen at sound butons..i used playerpro..it has that control to quickly decline/encline
I have galaxy core and when I press the screen lock key or as goes off after the scheduled time the locking sound comes few seconds after the screen off. initially it used to be at the same time but now why is this lag? is this due to other screen off apps that I have installed? so please help me
So all I can find online deals with the normal lock screen timeout. However I'm concerned with when the phone is already locked and you hit either the power button or home button to light up the phone and see notifications. When I do this, the screen does not shut back off, it stays lit up at the lock screen. I found out that is does lock when the normal screen timeout (set in settings) goes off. I would like to have my screen timeout at 5 minutes but I don't want my normal lock screen to light up for a notification and stay on for 5 minutes. On other phones it wasn't connected like this and turned off after 10 seconds or so. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
I'm requesting help in making notifications for text, in browser notif. Volume rocker etc. To shorten the time they remain on screen. For some reason they are staying on screen for an unusual amount of time like 2min each. Not the 5-10 seconds I'm used to.
Is there a particular setting that I'm not finding?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
